What do you think Gorgon can fly in Japanese version?

1. It's totally a bug.

2. It's reasonable.

In Japanese version, Gorgon can fly but it's not regarded as a flying unit.

I think it's not weird because Mogall has the same design.

Anyway, I am wondering whether the Gorgon in mythology is able to fly.

In the mythology, the gorgon are unable to get off their island by flying, which would have changed their story a fair bit if they could.

Also, TIL that there's a glitch which made the Gorgons fly. That sounds terrifying if you take too long in Chapter 18.

It may have been an error if they copied and pasted class data during development, since the other magical monster classes are flying.

In Greek/Roman mythology, the gorgon sisters can't fly. However, once Jason cut off Medusa's head, Pegasus leapt from the freshly cut nape. So that could be the reference? Although most people often forget about that detail.

The only flying "monsters" from Greek/Roman mythology I can think of are the harpies.

Oh, do you know the link or website talking about this glitch?

Yeah, they look very scary when they fly and have a long range magic.

No.

Like I said, I'd never heard of it before this thread.

Oddly enough, to contradict me there's apparently depictions that have wings. But it's not a feature that they're usually known for having, so I suspect it faded out of use over time.
