Lord_Brand Posted May 9, 2021 Share Posted May 9, 2021 (edited) Recently had this idea of a Fighter's Pass for SSBU where the fighter packs are released in pairs, with the catch that they be from the same series and have some kind of relationship, be it biological, platonic, romantic, or adversarial. Some examples: Proto Man and Roll - Both from the Mega Man series, both are siblings to the titular protagonist and each other Tails and Dr. Eggman - Both from the Sonic series, one is a friend of Sonic's and the other is an enemy to both X and Zero - Both from the Mega Man X series, close friends and precursors to the Reploid race Crash Bandicoot and Dr. Neo Cortex - Both from the Crash series, nemeses I think you all get the idea. So say you get to design a fighter's pass with five to eight such pairs. Which kinds of pairs would you want to add as DLC? Bear in mind that these wouldn't be linked duos like Pyra & Mythra; they're two individual fighter packs that can be bought separately if desired, but they would be developed and released at the same time, and you get a discount for buying both together.
