lcronovt
I think in January 25 we are going to have all Smash info, and if isnt from the page, is going to be from a japanese that have already beaten the smash, or in that week. I also hope that there will be more characters, they are few in my opinion. Note: January 24 release smash in Japan.
Hanz
Yeah, once the game his Japan it will be nigh-impossible to avoid the flood of information.
Meteor
I won't really mind knowing...
Hanz
Yeah, but I know there will be a ton of people who will want to avoid spoilers. They might as well not even get online.
VincentASM
Spoilers about a fighting game? o__o Well, I suppose I wouldn't like the final boss of the single player mode to be spoilered, but if I found out I wouldn't be exactly distraught. Hanz
I know alot of people who want to be surprised when they unlock new characters.
VincentASM
Ah I see. In that case, I agree that not going online would be the best plan of action XD
Hanz
I can really see why they would seclude themselves too, as I did it for Melee. I think I ended up enjoying everything a bit more too. Almost had a heart attack when I seen Ganondorf.
Wolt
I honestly don't see the point for people secluding themselves for this game. You'll know it eventually right? I'd just like to know so I can focus on unlocking them, and finding who I'm best with.
Metal Rabbit
im more careful about what i say. its something you pick up from being on baords after a whlie.
Vangaurd
Meh, if you have spoilers to say, simply use the spoilers BB code tags. Makes everyone happy, and you can say what you want to. My problem is that even if I tried to seclude myself, all my friends would be talking about it anyway, so I don't really se the point. It is more fun to have a bit of a surprise while you're playing though. Of course, having spoilers is fun because then if you know, for example, a character but not their move set, then you can wildly speculate on what their moves might be. Aurion_Emblem
yeah, spoilers are good...otherwise how would you know if you have unlocked everyone? that's what I thought!
Florete
I'm going to seclude myself from spoilers for as long as possible, but I just know those asses at my school will reveal things to me just because I don't want to know til I see it in game. Florete
Wow... donkeys go to your school? That's mildly interesting. yes, and they talk too. A lot.
Aurion_Emblem
that's why you don't let on that you don't want to know...play along with them for a few weeks...lite enough that they don't think you are trying to stay spoiler free, but not heavy enough that you compromise what you set out to do...either that or don't talk to the arses at all so they don't know you have anything to do with Brawl... Meteor
I should have been more broad in my post. I meant that fighter games aren't really ruined by spoilers, where games like FE could be.
Metal Rabbit
but the difference between brawl and other fighter games is that brawl has a story, and you unlock characters by playing through it. and that story had better be worth the two delays... Meteor
Maybe it's just me, but I didn't play Melee for campaign mode. I'm pretty sure the delays were mainly to get WiFi working properly.

Aurion_Emblem
but not before of course he made it so that japanese people automatically have a +1 handicap advantage over Americans in Wifi Brawl
Metal Rabbit
when did he ever do that?
Aurion_Emblem
I don't know, but why do you think he was accepting character requests on the japanese site? why do you think he moved the american release date to after the japanese one? why do you think he is japanese?
