Let's create a story, 100 words at a time!

Recommended Posts

(3 rules: The core "story" part of your post must be exactly 100 words. No more, no less. If you're in the middle of a sentence, you have to stop cold dead right there and the next person has to pick up in the middle of said sentence (though it is perfectly acceptable to ask questions, give minor criticism etc. in parenthesis either before or after the core story part of your post). You cannot double post, you must wait for at least one person to reply before you can write 100 more words. Finally, the story must end at some point, so we can start in a new world with a new story. We don't want to get the story all confusing and too-long and weird and tangential at some point.)

Sheera had lived in this prison all her life. She had never seen light that was not artificial.

And she wanted to escape. To break free of her shackles with her fellow prisoners.

...past the opening that allowed the jailors to give her food and water.

"He's so powerful!" the guard yelled, shooting bullets at the mysterious invader. A sizzling noise rang out.

"Is he... melting the bullets in midair?" another guard shouted in amazement.

"He's on the level of a... at least a Third! Maybe even a Second!"

"THEN LET GREYMARE KNOW SO HE CAN HELP US!"

The door began to sizzle and glow with heat. And then, it fell inward off its hinges. Standing there was a young-looking man with glasses and white hair.

"Wakey wakey. Time for a freedom breakfast."

Raising a finger, the young man caused Sheera fell to the ground as her shackles released her from her hold.  She lifted her head up before she had a chance to see her savior keeping his hands raised to confirm an earlier observation.  The two guards within the cell fired on him but their bullets melted before making contact.

One of the guards ran past him while the other shouted, "Get back here!"

The escaping guard shouted, "Situation critical!  We can't contain them!"

A man passed him stating, "That is why I'm here."  He raised a fist calling out, "Rainer!...
