In the case of Jinora/Ikki, I just find them cute. I wasn't super into Korra until watching like 1 minute into the show. Her personality and voice acting really win you over. Opal is just perfect all-around and Bolin is one silly guy. Kuvira is kind of pretty I GUESS but her personality and motives really play against her.
