 Also GameFAQs. 

 But I think that Serenes Forest still is pretty alive. There isn't too much random posts or conversations here right now because this site is a little more organized/serious/civil/less wild than Reddit, Discord or GameFAQs. There people mostly post memes, troll posts, fanart, low quality posts, shitposts or things that are considered offensive to be posted here, so who wants some cheap giggles (or to troll, or to have wild conversations and get into random fights about their preferd loli or savage ship wars) don't do it here. Also Serenes has lots of rules about people who want to do hate posts, self advertising (and spamming),post/talk about porn or almost porn stuff, or give/ask for ROMs, so who wants this will also not come here. Also its been a while since the last FE game came out, so there aren't that many serious threads about the main games anymore  (I think that most of the recent threads are about FEH since the game is still around, and these are pretty active if you ask me), but once we get a new FE or huge news about the next FE, everyone will come back here.

And of course, as I said before, Serenes has way more rules than the other independent forums, for example you can't double post, neither post low quality stuff, lose the focus of a thread (like it happens 90% of the time in GameFAQs), you can't say offensive stuff (neither use an offensive display name, so again, trolls can't have fun here), and there are all of those other rules to avoid trolls (like not double threading/posting, not spamming, not having more than one account, not annoying on purpouse, and this kind of thing), you can't post porn or this kind of stuff in the PM or chat either, you can't say grotesque, dark or cursed stuff because.we're supposed to keep it PG-13, you have to spell correctly, etc. Things are less wild here, so who wants wild stuff will go to the wild forums, not to Serenes Forest. And who wants to talk about serious stuff doesn't have much to talk about right now (mostly about FEH I guess) since there isn't anything new to talk about so there are less people here now.

 I'm not saying that any of this is bad, in fact its awesome that there is a site like Serenes, at least one serious site that you know you can count on for serious stuff knowing that the thread won't lose focus and become about lolis, xenoblade chronicles or hating a character (but I have to admit that I love getting cheap giggles on Reddit and GameFAQs too). Basically, people go post random stuff to kill time or for laughs in other places because here the things are a little more "professional"

 

 So yeah, long story short, once we get a new FE there will be hundreds of threads about it here. People don't post here much lately because there isn't many serious conversations to have about FE right now I guess. (also sorry for such a long answer)

Easier/simpler sites for discussion, as well as the fact that the main site, which once was considered the primary FE info database, really is not anymore.

I'm on these forums very often but I don't comment much, I usually just read the discussions in various topics unless I really feel like commenting. I think a lot of individuals do the same.

I thought we are still the primary Fire Emblem database, at least the only one that is well organized and practical anyways. The regular Fire Emblem wiki is neat for lore and backstory, but its format is horrible for looking up and comparing stats, weapons, items, etc.

I think the only game that Serenes Forest does not have a good database on is Heroes, and Gamepress and Fandom got the edge there, but that is only one game though.

It depends on what you're looking for in the end, but I find myself using other wikis for a lot of things these days. There's a lot of missing and/or outdated info on Serenes.

 Sometimes I look up for stuff in other sites too but its mostly here, like GBA support information, recruitment requirements, secret shops locations, all of the events/conversations from FE4 and the explanation about the jealousy system and other pretty useful stuff (some that I can't find almost nowhere else). Since I started to play FE and to use SF (it was what? like no much more than a year ago) I always got the impression that Serenes was the most useful site regarding FE stuff (lore aside), idk if some years back it was different (like even more useful compared to other sites) and maybe thats why some people might have the impression that its not the "best FE site anymore" because now lots of other sites can be pretty close to SF in terms of quality? But for me it still sounds like SF is leading it.

Basically the only 2 other non forum (so not Reddit or GameFaqs) sites that I go for FE info besides Serenes are FE wiki and FE WoD, there's not much else to go. IDK if there is another well known FE site, otherwise I think that SF is a clear winner (even if there's some outdated or missing stuff, the other sites have more). But maybe thats just my impression
