Potential Alternate Continuity points for Fire Emblem 3 Hopes

(Note: This will have plenty of Fire Emblem 3 Houses Spoilers so be forewarned.)

I can't help but wonder if this game will potentially alter things in the original story in Fire Emblem 3 Houses for this new take (assuming this game will maintain the Multi-routes). I will give some examples...
 

• Instead of Edelgard being the Flame Emperor have her father Ionius don the armor instead. It will give Edelgard more of a reason to feel compelled that she had to side with TWSITD. This will also give Dimitri's freakout a bit more of a credence. While some did criticize Dimitri's accusations of Edelgard causing the Tragedy of Duscur to be absurd but if Dimitri would accuse Ionius of it instead it would not seem so unlikely. Some would wonder if Ionius was being a faker due to his how alleged frail health but it turns out that it was a side effect of how TWSITD used their tools to power up Ionius when he is needed. While Ionius is saddened when Edelgard finds out he claims that he is doing this so they won't use Edelgard like this.
• Indech & Macuil can get bigger roles here. At least add in a subplot in the Timeskip that TWSITD have captured them both and its up to our heroes to save them. After they are being saved they casually thanked their brother Cichol (Seteth) and niece Cethleen (Flayn). In which Seteth gets a little agitated when he has to explain to the others why he and Flayn were referred to by such terms. Or at most give them human forms and have them at the Monastery along with Rhea & Seteth (and give them aliases such as Indech/Sheldon and Macuil/Griffith or McGuire.) Indech will be a kindly old priest who is more of a calm mentor figure to those such as Bernadetta. While Macuil will be an ill-tempered pragmatic who hates the Fodlan nobility but can be civil with commoners and foreigners. In which during Claude & Macuil's 1st support Claude thinks that the reason why Macuil is so cold to him is because of him being an Almyran. However Macuil reassures Claude that is not the case and the only real reason is because of Claude's involvement with the Riegan family. Oh yes and both brothers along with Rhea frequently try to reason with Seteth on his overprotective ways with Flayn. (While questioning Seteth on why he insists on publicly treating Flayn like his little sister.)
• In a side quest set in the Leicester Alliance our heroes get to fight a bunch of demonic beasts but there is one that is leading the pack and is slightly capable of speech but mainly says words like "Intruder". While most of the characters will just simply react in surprise that a demonic beast is speaking. But if you are playing as Raphael or Ignatz this takes a far more tragic turn as they recognize the beast's voice as Raphael's father turned into a Beast. While Raphael normally tries to keep his chin up regarding the demise of his parents but this new information is making that a tad bit harder. Though if you play as Lorenz he finds the Demonic Beast's voice to be somewhat familiar and thinks this is something very much worth investigating.
• In the Golden Deer Route once it becomes known that Lysithea was a subject of TWSITD's experiments in which her lifespan is considerably shortened due to having the Gloucester & Charon crests implanted in her. Lorenz is enraged by this news as its horrible enough that they shorten Lysithea's lifespan but to use his family's crest in the process? Truly an unforgivable insult as Lorenz sincerely vows to Lysithea that she will be saved and TWSITD will pay dearly for this. Catherine comes in and while normally she wouldn't agree with someone like Lorenz but vows to Lysithea that she can make this an exception.
• We take a look into Claude and the reasons why he tried to hide the fact that his real name is Prince Khalid. Is because while he wasn't able to hide the fact that he is a born and raised (Half) Almyran which gives him trouble in Fodlan but is begrudgingly tolerated due to his status in the Reigan family. But once the fact that his Royal Almyran Lineage became known Claude ends up becoming a target of vicious gossip. Namely was Claude a part of some insidious plot from the Almyrans to find a new way to invade Fodlan? Claude knows that the real reason why he is in Fodlan is to help secure the Reigan family's place as Leicester Alliance leader but is unsure if that would help. But on the plus side Lorenz confides to Claude that while yes he did antagonize Claude in the past but it was strictly due to rivalry for the leadership of the Alliance and it had nothing to do with his ethnic background.
• Heck if this game is truly going to be the "Golden Route" where all the characters are united if the game keeps in routes then its time to do a different method in "route-exclusive characters". Namely have certain characters be recruitable in Part 1 in their respective routes (like say Gilbert & Rodrigue for Blue Lions for example) but in other routes you will have to wait until the Time-Skip until you can get them. Granted rest assured I am aware that this maybe a little tricky for Crimson Flower/Black Eagles but for the other routes this can for the most part be doable.
• If routes return then the lords (Dimitri, Claude & Edelgard) will be the true main characters and not rely on Byleth so much, rest assured Byleth will still be a potential ally to befriend. But the plot will not require Byleth to babysit the lord of the route so much and this can allow Byleth to actually be able to talk more. Now for those who want Byleth to remain the protagonist we can just let the 4th route be Silver Snow (which is now a separate route from Crimson Flower) as the route that will focus on the Knights & the Church (along with the Abyss). Also no matter which route you pick there will be no "one land to rule them all" as the Kingdom, Alliance and Empire will still stand. (But in certain routes Ferdinand may be the one to take over the rule for Edelgard in the Empire.) Now one might ask if Byleth doesn't become a teacher then what will s/he be called? Probably something like Ms. (or Mr.) Eisner or just simply be called Byleth.
• Dedue at one point (most likely be Felix) gets called out on how for all his talk about absolute loyalty he only has that for Dimitri not for Faerghus. While one can easily see why this is the case what with what Faerghus did to the people of Duscur but then Dedue gets questioned about if his loyalty to Dimitri is but a means to an end in which even Dedue starts to wonder about this. However rest assured Dimitri does calm Dedue down and admits to Dedue that he has no need to be loyal to Faerghus whatsoever as Dimitri wants to atone for this grevious sin that his homeland has done. While Dedue spends his time at Garreg Mach he can get potential allies from other lands such as Claude (Almyra), Petra (Brigid) or even Hapi (Abyss). But while this does get Dedue a little conflicted due to his loyalty to Dimitri but Dimitri reassures that he approves and thinks Dedue could be a great ambassador.
• Take how all 3 lands Adrestian Empire, Kingdom of Faerghus and Leicester Alliance and play up their relationships with foreign lands such as Brigid, Duscur and Almyra. Namely showcase on all 3 of them have had their dark history for sure. One example would be Brigid and the Empire in which years ago the Empire once treated Brigid as practically a plantation. There were also some stories about how in the Empire, if any Brigid Islander is coming off as a little too uppity they would get charged for a crime then get sent to the gallows to be hanged. In which certain Empire Nobles would gleefully watch these hangings happen. Meanwhile in the present Caspar is horrified and depressed how the Empire would allow such a thing. While Ferdinand is saddened by this he does try to reassure Caspar that thankfully those barbaric practices were outlawed once the Church caught wind of how flimsy the reasons for these hangings were. (In which fortunately the Church did manage to convince certain folks in the empire to have this practice be outlawed.) Unfortunately there is the Western Church who is secretly connected to the Empire thanks to TWSITD and wants to bring back some of its old ways sort to speak. Edelgard was also getting a little depressed about this as Dimitri tries to comfort her as he understand being ashamed of your homelands past deeds. While Edelgard appreciates Dimitri's attempts she thinks this is different since while what Faerghus did was a horribly misguided attempt at retribution but what the Empire did to Brigid was just vindictive cruelty. So to make a long story short both Dimitri & Edelgard want to atone for what their lands did in the past.
• In the post Time Skip (at least in the Blue Lion route) there will be two comebacks here who were revived thanks to TWSITD and used for their experiments. One case would be Miklan in which TWSITD revived him as a half-human and half-demonic beast in which he eagerly and loyally served TWSITD as he obsesses over stalking then killing Sylvain. However Miklan will also taunt those who are close to Sylvain such as Felix, Ingrid and Dimitri. But certain others would have lines at him such as Edelgard realizing that any sympathy for him was misguided. Also TWSITD would have a silent masked assassin whom at first some of the Blue Lions recognized the fighting style this masked man uses. But during a battle after losing the fight, the mysterious man's mask comes off and is revealed to be Felix's older brother Glenn who is now an undead puppet. Needless to say certain folks like Dimitri, Ingrid and especially Felix & Rodrigue do not take this well at all.
• But on a somewhat lighter note, we would get to see Cornelia in the Pre-Time Skip (though most likely in the Blue Lions Route the most) as a (seemingly) good servant of Faerghus Castle. But in the Time Skip it seems like she has gone back to her evil role in the main game taking control of the castle until a woman who comes in who apparently escaped captivity claiming to be the real Cornelia. Now when exactly did TWSITD set up their "snatch and replace" plan for Cornelia is ambiguous but due to Cornelia's powerful skills in magic she was able to escape capture. The point is this raises the question if any of TWSITD's other "Kill & Replace" targets could be saved or not.
• I did consider on what could TWSITD do that would make Edelgard want to get rid of them a lot sooner than she initially planned for? One idea would be that Lord Arrundel would release Count Varley from House Arrest as he will be hired to lead the Western Church. Count Varley was also given the assignment to monitor Edelgard and her friends to make sure they remain loyal to the Empire's cause. In which Count Varley gleefully gloats to Edelgard about how he knows that Arrundel has men who are behind crest experiments that can make a person more powerful. Then Count Varley tells Edelgard that if she and her friends don't remain loyal then he would send her friends to be experimented on, starting with his own daughter Bernadetta. Rest assured this enrages Edelgard and was about to strike him down until Count Varley reminds her that if anything were to happen to him they would be taken anyways. Since Edelgard knows very well how TWSITD knows how to make people disappear she very reluctantly relents. Afterwards Count Varley rallies the Western Church troops for conquest in the name of "Adrestian Supremacy". This leads to the Western Church striking at Brigid as the people there were being captured to be used for TWSITD experiments (among other horrific acts). Edelgard becomes livid that Count Varley would commit such an act of treachery but Count Varley denies this as Brigid is a Vassal State to the Empire namely as Imperial Property. While Petra assures Edelgard that she does forgive her but admits that she can't forgive the Empire in which Edelgard was very understanding.
