What was even the titular Revelation of Fates: Revelation? Because if there's more than one valid answer, than it should probably have been called Revelations. The only plot detail I recall is that Corrin and Azura are cousins because I was making fun of it at the time. I don't think that's very funny anymore, it's just plain gross.

Existence of Anankos and Valla, I guess. I mean, yeah, that's sort of there in Conquest, but nothing is actually revealed about them.

Are Corrin and Azura being related even something that's highlighted? I kind of sort of recall it just being something you notice yourself because it says their mothers are sisters. I don't think any ado is really made about the connection.

Surprise! The hidden world is Vallabama!

I can't decide if that's clever or incredibly cringy.

Yes.

It's worth noting that "Three Houses" is an English localization. The original title translates to something like "Wind, Flower, Snow, Moon", which is based on an ancient Chinese poem.

Fates is also a localization. It's Japanese title is "If" (and literally in English too). Guess they thought that sounded too pedestrian, though Shi Megami Tensei localized a game with that tile, so idk, might have worked.

Seeing the title of TMS#FE for the first time was just insulting when it really isn't Shin Megami Tensei or Fire Emblem, so my vote goes to that.

Honourable mention to Three Houses.  I love the game, and I guess I can't say the name is bad, it's clearly stuck out well, but it's such a massive downgrade from its Japanese name that I have to mention it.  No fault to the localisers though, it's a bit too hard to adapt well.

Edit: Forgot about Engage.  Literally sounds like a mobile game (fitting, I guess).

Ant one else remember the N-Gage? It was like a cross between a console and a phone. Failed really, really hard,  because, well, it was a phone trying to compete in the console market and not as a phone. It is funny how it kind if perdicted how lucrative mobile game would be, just a bit too early and in the wrong way. Truly ahead of its time, which is usually a compliment, but in this case a critisism!

Ya...completely off topic but mention Engage sounding like a mobile title brought back a sudden wave of nostalgia.
