Im so disappointed to check the data mine. There are many tomes missing in the game like Fimbulvetr, Bolting, valflame, fenrir... Do someone know if the upcoming DLC will add more weapons? Fimbulvetr will come within Soren ring as Rexcalibur but what about the other spells?

So if paired endings are actually gone do we at least get an epilogue with all the characters or is that too much to hope?

For that matter what's the chance they add paired endings back in the expansion pass (or as free post-launch dlc) if enough people are upset about it? Not only would it make a lot of people happy but it might also be used a marketing ploy to get people to pick up the expansion pass so they can replay the game with new content to also see the new endings (and possibly include the new characters).

(edit: ah so it looks like ending slides are still a thing just no definitive pairings. I'm a bit more accepting of this but still a bit of a disappointment. They definitely over corrected)

For that matter what is the replay value for the game currently? Do we have any further information on the Growth menu or know if there is a harder difficulty or any extra benefits to replaying the game?

I'm seeing people on reddit say that the non-Alear characters have endings that are very slightly affected by their supports? Can anyone confirm or deny? Even something tiny is better than nothing...

I can deny this, all the endings are static. Only being paired with Alear changes them.

I've read a few of these but I'm still confused. From what I understand most s-supports aren't very "romantic" I guess. What does that mean exactly? I feel like if you are giving them a ring that's kind of romantic lol. Also is it confirmed paired ending aren't a thing? So does that mean there wont be any end cards after you beat the game?

So generally the S-supports (pass the English Team downplaying all romance) are romantic in nature, with a good portion of characters just outright saying they love you. The ring is more a promise ring than a wedding band, this is why you can give it to characters like Veyle, Jean, or Anna, or characters with pre-established relations like Lindon (man so old he dies in his ending. RIP).

Alear does get end-cards with whoever has a S-support, them getting a unique ending and a CG, regardless if their pairing is platonic or not. Everyone else can't fuck each other. Despite romantic inclinations in some of their supports, no pairing have paired endings at all.

Basically, it's Binding Blade all over again. Alear the Harem Lord.

A Chinese player has uploaded him playing the prologue through chapter 3. Not much new however we see the full interaction with Alear, the hooded figure and Lumera for the first time.

https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV12G4y1C7fm?p=1

They keep uploading! They're at Chapter 14 now.

I normally try not to backseat game FE because I'm not the best player, but gosh some of these early chapter gameplay is a struggle to watch for me lol. So many instances of the guy ignoring battle forecasts and just sending his soldiers into their doom. They're on casual, so I guess it doesn't matter too much. But the secondhand anxiety I felt lol. Still a nice watch.

Do we have any info on Morion, about his looks in battle and such

I found his artwork of the artbook but that's it, no one has mentioned him outside his fate

As everyone expected, he dies.

His blood is used to revive Sombron, and then you fight a Corrupted version of him.

Seeing as a lot of the cast are children, it only makes sense to have them be platonic. The only way to fix this in the next game is to have the cast all be actually adults. For now, I am happy that the ability to S-support anyone regardless of gender is now in the game.

ALSO SOREN!! I’m so happy for him that he’s finally being acknowledged as an important character! At least enough to appear in DLC! He appears in like every chapter in the Radiant Games along with Ike and is literally Ike’s closest companion.

Also happy for Chrom and Hector. My personal favorite paired Lyn ending was with Hector! It’s so cute how he wraps his arm around Lyn!

Looking at the S support cards, some characters have the ring on their left ring finger, while others have it on their middle or are just holding it.

These characters line up more or less with those said to be romantic or platonic in dialogue.

Ring finger (romantic?): Alfred, Diamant, Boucheron, Louis, Chloe, Amber, Ivy, Zelkov, Kagetsu, Goldmary, Timerra, Panette, Pandreo, Yunaka, Seadall, Vander, Saphir

Middle finger or holding ring (platonic?): Clanne, Framme, Etie, Celine, Jade, Alcryst, Lapis, Citrinne, Hortensia, Rosado, Merrin, Fogado, Bunet, Anna, Jean, Lindon, Veyle, Mauvier

Not accurate. Many of those are romantic

I'm seeing people on reddit say that the non-Alear characters have endings that are very slightly affected by their supports? Can anyone confirm or deny? Even something tiny is better than nothing...

The A-class' remain the same. Just no end card.

Basically all the wake ups, S-class are heavily romantic and the end card kinda just does whatever. As long as the character is over the age of 17. When it's 16-17 it's kinda vague

I've been reading the story! I'm pleasantly surprised at it, its kinda predicatable but it has a lot of character to it! Spoilers of course!

Spoiler

In a way, it feels like it's trying to do many of Awakening's and Fates' silliest scenes, like Corrin dying or Basillo futily "sacrificing" himself right. Stuff like Alear being revived as the 13th Emblem (complete with their own Emblem kit), Sombron talking about his backstory and betrayal and Unlimited Kid Works, Veyle dealing with her split personality and father issues, or the Four Hounds dying off and wanting to be recognized in their dying moments actually hit home in a way the 3DS titles never did.

Still have to see them in-game, but I like what I read.

Do we know if there's some kind of benefit to letting a unit go through multiple classes, like skill acquisition that they can carry over into other classes? Or do they not really get anything permanent out of class levels.
