Math Emblem or rather question about math and number comparison in Fire Emblem Engage.

I never really fully delved into the math calculations of Fire Emblem, but this game kinda lures me toward it, since it already display quite a lot of info to you, but I'm still not sure how it works in comparison.

1) Hit vs Avoid: How is the hit percantage calculated exactly? Connected to that, how much more avoidence over enemy's hit I need to get 0% hit percentage?

2) Build vs Wieght: This one I might know, but want to confirm that, fro mwhat I understand, If you have same build as is the weight of weapon you are not penalized? But also a question, lets say you have build 9 and weight is 10, do yo uget -1 to speed or is it different?

3) Str/Mag + weapon might: How much damage do I get counting these stats together?

4) Def and Res: How much damage do you mitigate with this stat, I remember in GBA titles it was simple damage-defense/resistance=damage dealt, but I think that changed? In regard of Res how is the percantage calculated, when avoiding staves?

Excluding skills, I'm pretty sure the maths involved are unchanged. So:

1) Final Hit = Hit - Avoid. If you want to get 0% avoidance, you just just need more Avoid than the enemy's Hit

2) Penalty to speed = Weight - Build. So yes, if you have 9 build but use a 10 weight weapon, you will get an effective -1 to speed, which affects your double ability and avoidance

3) For physical weapons: Str + weapon might. For magical weapon: Mag + weapon might. For Art: (Str + Mag)/2 (round down) + weapon might

4) Def and Res work the same as ever. I don't have an answer for staff avoidance though.

Again, that's just the basic calculation without skills. For skills, I think you just need to add the percentage as described, all fractions rounded down

I don't really know how to calculate the Hit percentage, because I can't figure what I'm missing from the math. But I got something close (generally, there is 1 point of hit I can't explain).

Total Hit = Weapon's Hit + (Unit's dex *2) + (Rank level * 2) + 1?

Consider here that each rank equals a number. E = 1, D = 2, C = 3, B = 4, A = 5, S = 6?

That's roughly that, I think. But I miss something, I'm sure! I'll take the example of my Etie.

Spoiler

Etie is a Warrior with B rank in bows, and have 28 in dex. If I give her a Longbow with 70 accuracy, she's up to 135.

135 = 70 + (28*2) + (4*2) + 1

I made the comparison with Saphir and Panette, who are also Warriors (with less dex and less good rank in bows, with longbows, in my play. I find the same thing.

What are their Luck stats?

Really, this game has probably my least favorite UI in the series, in spite of being a huge step up in terms of graphics otherwise. It makes it seem much more confusing than it is, but the basic damage/hit calcs haven't changed since the gba days, other than some finagling with the luck stat.

Edit: Also, don't forget about skills, there are an unusually large number of personal skills that affect hit/avoid in this game, including from significant distances (looking at you, racket of solm and knightly escort)
