Various FE9 data collection

This data collection is HM only, though some of it might be true of all modes.

Here is a list of the forges you can make in each individual chapter. I'll be updating this as I collect enemy stats.

All laguz have the same gauge gains/losses per turn, and thus only differ in their starting gauge value.

While in beorc form

Gains per turn: 4

Gains per round of combat: 2

While in laguz form

Losses per turn: 3

Losses per round of combat: 1

Miscellaneous laguz info

If a laguz removes the demi-band in the base, they will automatically start the upcoming chapter with 4 meter. Laguz do not gain meter while they are rescued. Demi-band gains are transformation gains / 2 and are rounded up. Also, it seems that boulders decrease gauge if they hit a transformed laguz, but have no effect on untransformed ones.

An archer’s str stat is ignored when using a ballista. This is probably true of the Long B and Killer B as well.

Could you also take note of when skills can first be used? It's hard finding out ATM.

I can't work out how Demi Band differs from regular transformation gains, so something about that would be appreciated too.

Demi band is halved bonuses (decimals rounded up) if I'm correct.

Cat (M): +3 str, +0 mag, +2 skl, +2 spd, +3 def, +2 res

Cat (F): +3 str, +0 mag, +2 skl, +2 spd, +3 def, +2 res

Tiger: +4 str, +0 mag, +2 skl, +2 spd, +2 def, +2 res

Lion: +4 str, +0 mag, +2 skl, +2 spd, +3 def, +2 res

Hawk: +3 str, +0 mag, +3 skl, +2 spd, +2 def, +1 res

Tibarn: +4 str, +1 mag, +3 skl, +2 spd, +2 def, +1 res

Raven: +3 str, +1 mag, +2 skl, +2 spd, +2 def, +2 res

Naesala: +3 str, +1 mag, +2 skl, +2 spd, +2 def, +2 res

Red Dragon (F): +3 str, +0 mag, +2 skl, +2 spd, +2 def, +3 res

Left out all non-PC classes.

I'm not sure what you mean. If you acquire a skill in a chapter, you can use it in the next since then you have access to the base.

Nevermind, I forgot about the GFAQ's guide.

Some confimation of what Tino said the bonuses would be nice. Not that I don't trust Tino.

I tested it with Lethe and Mordecai, and so far my data is correct (I had a game save on Ch16). Now all I need to do is wait for Janaff and Ulki to join and if I can conclude that my data is also correct for them, I think my data is trustworthy.

Of course, if anyone's willing to confirm it also, it would be much appreciated.

The tutorial agrees with you, it's probably telling the truth.

By the way.

Starting gauge: 4

Gains per turn: 4

Gains per round of combat: 2

Losses per turn: 3

Losses per round of combat: 1

Muarim's is the same, except for perhaps his starting gauge. That's the only thing I can't recall correctly. The others (gains and losses) I'm 100% sure they are the same.

That's odd,just the other day I forged Mia a steel sword at the base after her joining chapter on hard mode.Unless my game is screwed up,you can forge steel right away.

If anyone could find Nasir's starting gauge, that would be really helpful. I don't plan on beating the Black Knight on this playthrough (my Ike is def screwed), and I don't want to go through manipulation hell against him just to find that out. Ena and Ranulf's starting gauge are still missing, too, though I'll get to that soon enough if no one else will.

Also, forges updated to chapter 17.

If anyone could find Nasir's starting gauge, that would be really helpful. IIRC, both Dragons are 5 and Ranulf has 10.

The data collection is complete. I'm not sure if ballista attacks ignore other sniper stats (crit, hit, AS, etc), though I supsect it doesn't. I'm thinking ballista work like crossbows in FE10 but at long range.

Ballistae are effected by hit and crit, unless my game is messed up. I play on an actual disc, so it should be pretty clean, though.

In theory, it's true. In practice, it doesn't work.

No , this isnt true, only Ike can carry Leanne.

I have to ask, can someone tell me if Ballistae ignores users Skl and Lck?

I need this data for my FE9 Speedrun.
