First update go!

P: 4/4

Nothing to say.

Unit Level HP Str Mag Skl Spd Lck Def Res
Ike 2 20 5 1 7 8 7 6 0

1: 2/6

Boyd gives Ike the fighter Band in exchange for some Swords. Ike gets the Steel Sword. Oscar Rescues Ike and moves all the way. Titania drops Ike north then takes the spot just north of Ike for a clear path on the next turn. Oscar crits two enemies on enemy phase and gets the Robe on turn 2 before Titania kills the boss and Ike Seizes.

Unit Level HP Str Mag Skl Spd Lck Def Res
Ike 2 20 5 1 7 8 7 6 0
Titania 1 33	12	4	13	14	11	11	7
Oscar 3 26	6	1	6	7	5	8	0

2: 4/10

Oscar handles the northwest enemies while Ike handles the east. This time it's Ike's turn to crit kill two enemies. Titania comes and charges the boss.

Unit Level HP Str Mag Skl Spd Lck Def Res
Ike 4 21 6 2 8 9 7 6 1
Titania 1 33	12	4	13	14	11	11	7
Oscar 4 27	7	1	7	8	5	8	0

3: 4/14

I am reasonably certain that to get the Hand Axe and finish in 3 turns requires Titania to crit the boss with the Hand Axe. I did not feel like restarting a ton for that and went for the 4 turn clear instead. Ike held back to minimize his chances of death while Titania charged. Surprisingly, Marcia dodged every single enemy attack, though since I didn't talk to her it doesn't matter anyway

Unit Level HP Str Mag Skl Spd Lck Def Res
Ike 5 22 7 2 8 9 7 7 1
Titania 2 34	13	4	13	14	12	11	7
Oscar 4 27	7	1	7	8	5	8	0

At this point I have not considered what the restrictions on BEXP may mean for me later on with all the speeding I'm doing now. We shall see.

Oh shit. Totally missed that it was my turn again.

Well, fuck. I was hoping someone else would take Brom, at least, since I figured Ena and Bastian would remain regardless. God, all three are so terrible. Give me Brom, even though I'll probably just use him for Shoving.

EDIT: Lol @ this team compared to my last PoR draft. In that one half my team had Swords as their primary weapon, this time it's just Ike.

[spoiler=Ch 4-9]4: 2/16

Pulling this off with Ike and Soren alive - and getting them decent experience - was actually rather difficult.

Unit Level HP Str Mag Skl Spd Lck Def Res
Ike 5 29 7 2 8 9 7 7 1
Titania 2 34	13	4	13	14	12	11	7
Oscar 4 27	7	1	7	8	5	8	0
Soren 1 18	0	6	8	8	5	2	7

5: 6/22

Same as the last one. Doing with everyone alive and getting them some kills wasn't too easy, though I did manage to get all notable dropped items (Hammer, Iron Blade, Ashera Icon).

Unit Level HP Str Mag Skl Spd Lck Def Res
Ike 7 31 8 2 9 10 8 7 2
Titania 3 35	13	4	14	15	12	12	7
Oscar 5 27	7	1	7	8	5	9	0
Soren 2 18	0	7	8	8	5	2	8

6: 5/27

This was easier with Oscar to distract some enemies that would otherwise get in Titania's way of reaching the boss fast enough for a 5 turn clear. Soren mainly held back and distracted the Mage.

Unit Level HP Str Mag Skl Spd Lck Def Res
Ike 7 31 8 2 9 10 8 7 2
Titania 4 36	14	4	15	15	13	12	8
Oscar 6 28	8	1	8	9	5	9	0
Soren 3 19	0	8	9	8	5	2	9

7: 9/36

Titania went west and to the chest room. Oscar hung around the center south area until Soren and Ike, who went north and then west, met up with him in the middle. The last enemy to die ended up being the Thief because he kept running away, and he dropped me the Ward staff which I will likely never use. I also got the Armorslayer.

Unit Level HP Str Mag Skl Spd Lck Def Res
Ike 9 32 9 3 11 12 9 8 3
Titania 5 37	14	4	15	16	13	13	8
Oscar 9 30	9	2	10	11	6	10	1
Soren 4 19	0	8	9	9	5	2	9

8: 8/44

Base: Cap off Ike's and Oscar's levels and give Soren his levels. Forge a Lance for Oscar. Buy other various goodies, Hand Axes especially, and sell all Bows.

Map: Obvious turn count. Titania handled the south and boss. Ike and Soren went west, and I start building Soren's Fire level. Oscar held off the east until Titania could come in, then went south to eat up reinforcements. Got Ilyana and all that jazz.

Unit Level HP Str Mag Skl Spd Lck Def Res
Ike 11 34 10 3 12 13 9 9 4
Titania 6 38	15	5	16	16	13	13	8
Oscar 11 31	10	2	12	12	7	11	2
Soren 8 21	0	11	11	10	7	2	11

9: 6/50

Base: Build Ike/Soren C. Forge a Sword for Ike. Buy Javelins and a Steel Lance.

Map: 5 turns may have been possible, but I tried many strategies and couldn't get it. Lethe helped quite a bit here. I totally ignored the northern part of the map.

Unit Level HP Str Mag Skl Spd Lck Def Res
Ike 12 35 11 3 12 13 10 10 4
Titania 6 38	15	5	16	16	13	13	8
Oscar 13 32	11	2	12	13	7	12	2
Soren 9 22	0	11	12	11	7	3	12

I should see if I can finish this before anyone else starts.

First of all, thanks Weapons for picking my units.

I should see if I can finish this before anyone else starts.

You can't.

It is possible (see below).

Prologue 4/4

Standard

Chapter 1 3/7

Ike attacks one of the Fighters, Titania gets the Steel Sword and moves next to the weakened Fighter. Ike dodges a few times on enemy phase, which allows him to use the Seraph Robe on T2 instead of healing, also getting the Steel Sword in the process. Titania kills the boss on T3 and Ike seizes.

Name	Level	HP	Str	Mag	Skill	Sp	Lck	Def	Res
Ike	3.54	27	6	1	7	8	7	6	1
Titania	1.29	33	12	4	13	14	11	11	7

Chapter 2 5/12

Ike solos the western side. Would have been 4 but the last Fighter tried to get to the Healhedge instead of suiciding into Ike (stupid AI).

Name	Level	HP	Str	Mag	Skill	Sp	Lck	Def	Res
Ike	5.40	29	7	2	8	9	7	7	1
Titania	1.64	33	12	4	13	14	11	11	7

Chapter 3 3/15

No, I didn't get a Hand Axe crit. Basically, the Myrmidon that Marcia damages on T1 EP will go to her left on T2 to heal. You should have killed the Fighter on T2, which frees up a spot to Marcia's southwest. The Bandit which attacked from the southeast on T1 will go there on T2, which means that Titania can damage the boss on T3 PP and finish him on EP. Ike distracted the enemies near the starting point.

Name	Level	HP	Str	Mag	Skill	Sp	Lck	Def	Res
Ike	6.53	30	7	2	9	10	8	7	2
Titania	2.09	34	13	4	13	14	12	11	7

I did do that (If I hadn't I don't think I could have cleared in 4 turns with the Hand Axe anyway since Titania can't ORKO the boss). Are you sure this isn't more reliant on certain AI triggers like what makes the Myrmidon heal? Because I recall needing to kill him specifically.

Hmm your Marcia died, so maybe it has something to do with that? I'm pretty sure that when Marcia damages the Myrm on T1 EP and survives until the Myrm moves again, he will always go to her left to heal.

Uh, you must be thinking of the last draft. This one was "Surprisingly, Marcia dodged every single enemy attack, though since I didn't talk to her it doesn't matter anyway."

Perhaps I'll start a new file, get there, and see if I can replicate it (not a new draft file or anything, it's just that Ch 3 doesn't take long to get to). It's possible I made some other screw up that lost it for me.

Oops my bad.

Here is what should happen...

Turn 1 - Titania kills the Bandit guarding the ship and cantos one left. One Fighter, two Bandits and one Myrm attack Marica (Marcia should hit the Myrm twice I think). Marcia heals.

Turn 2 - Titania kills the Hand Axe Fighter and cantos right 2. The Myrm and one of the Bandits move to Marcia's left side, the Myrm heals.

Turn 3 - Titania attacks the boss with the Hand Axe and he suicicdes on EP.

My pseudo-speedrun time for Prologue through 2 was 6:58.

Well, I was able to replicate it perfectly on my first try. What I must have done is send Titania up next to Marcia on turn 2 instead of to the right, which makes the Myrmidon sit tight and heal. I also tried to see if it was possible for the Myrmidon to not be doubled, but I never saw him with more than 6 AS (and he needs 8 to avoid doubling).

Damn. This must be what I get for trying to get a head start. Oh well, I'm not starting over now. Will remember for next time.

Oh shit, full slots. My transfers, Kitty's transfers, something?, Kitty's new game, my other draft. What's the something? Ooh, apparently one of mine. Only C12? Fuck it, BALETED. Difficult, Fixed, anims off, autocursor off, bexp display on, woo! Let's do this!

P - 4 turns clear = 4 total

Derp. Love how this shit works out.

C1 - 4 turns clear = 8 total

lol this actually took three tries. Try 1 I bungled it and forgot to vulnerary Ike, try 2 Ike got hit by four consecutive 50%s and died, and try 3 I landed it.

C2 - 5 turns clear = 13 total

tuuuuuuurtle house. Ike eats a Robe and Rhys tanks like a boss. Bungalow Beachfarin' Christ I miss having Boyd already. Jill had BETTER pay off in SPADES.

sorry for starting a bit late.

Prologue- 4 turns

the usual

chapter 1- 3 turns

Ike goes north and hits axe guy, titania gets steel sword and moves north, boyd moves to bottom right and is rescued by oscar who moves to bottom right. Ike gets surrounded so titania kills guy on top of ike and moves next to boss, ike moves as much north as possible and uses vulnerary. on defense boss attacks tits and dies and more attack ike but dont kill or surround him completely, titania goes and gets seraph robe and ike seizes.

Chapter 2- 5 turns

went to the east with ike and criticaled the first axe person, on d ike gets attacked and leaves axe guy with like 6 hups or so and other pirate moves behind him ike moves next to him on next turn and vulneraries, on turn one i had oscar rescue rhys and both him and boyd move to southeast. the axe guys dont attack oscar or boyd cus their hurt and they start moving north. titania arrives and trades seraph robe to ike and moves north, ike kills guys on the west. would of been four turns but for some freaking reason i forgot to put her with steel axe and she had iron instead boss was left with 3 hp's so on the last turn 5 ike uses seraph robe and tits kills boss.

Chapter 3- 3 turns

Everyone moved north and shinon and titania kill an axe guy each, next turn guy with hands axe moves down to attack shinon. turn 2 titania kills hands axe guy and gets hands axe and moves northeast on boat, ike moves as much north as possible think he was on plank and gatrie moves northwest while shinon kills people to make sure they dont attack gatrie. next turn several attack tits and one survives her attacks and is in front of her so on turn three she kills that guy and moves next to boss, ike talks to marcia and shinon continues to own, on defense titania crits boss on first try. had to sacrifice the pure water ah well hope i dont need it later.

Chapter 4- 2 turns

shinon hits sword on north with iron bow leaving him with 7 hps, ike finishes with regal, titania goes west and kills a lance with iron axe, everyone else moves northeast, everyone suicides themselves to the ownage that is tits and others attack ike and shinon, on turn 2 offense ike uses vulnerary and shinon kills someone while titania crits boss with hand axe.

Progress!

13: 8/77

Base: Build Titania/Ike B and Oscar/Kieran C.

Map: Kill everything, loot chests. Those two turns are probably the best Sothe will legitimately contribute. I let Gatrie roam around for a while before recruiting him.

Unit Level HP Str Mag Skl Spd Lck Def Res Support
Ike 17 38 13 4 15 16 12 12 6 C Soren, B Titania
Titania 9 40	16	5	18	18	15	16	10	B Ike
Oscar 17 35	12	3	14	15	9	13	3	C Kieran
Soren 15 25	1	15	15	14	9	3	16	C Ike
Lethe 5 37	13	4	11	14	16	10	7
Kieran 17 33	13	1	12	14	10	12	2	C Oscar
Brom 13 32	12	1	12	9	5	16	3
Sothe 4 22	7	1	9	13	7	5	1

14: 3/80

Base: Max MT/Hit Steel Axe forge so Titania can ORKO Gashilama.

Map: Brom got the Spirit Dust. Lethe, Kieran, and Oscar all went to get Makalov's Red Gem and the Vantage scroll. Ike, Soren, and even Sothe cleared a few enemies on Titania's path so she could get the Laguz Bow and ORKO Gashilama.

Unit Level HP Str Mag Skl Spd Lck Def Res Support
Ike 17 38 13 4 15 16 12 12 6 C Soren, B Titania

Brom 14 33	12	1	12	9	5	16	3
Sothe 4 22	7	1	9	13	7	5	1

15: 4/84

Base: Forge max MT/Hit Steel Lance forge mainly for later use.

Map: I both love and hate when I need such carefully fine-tuned plans for a good turn count. Love because it feels good to pull off in the end, hate because of how much damn frustration goes into it. Once again, Sothe was actually a major contributor, aside from getting the Boots; that one Soren Shove was quite necessary, and anyone else who could have done it either didn't have the Move (Brom, Ike) or needed to kill other Laguz in the area (Lethe). It's totally pathetic that he's a better draftee than Brom.

Anyway, this required Lethe in the closest spot to Muarim so she could reach one specific enemy Laguz on turn 3, Soren right behind her, being sure to avoid the Hawk's attack, and following behind her. He had to take out the right of the four untransformed Laguz near Muarim from 2 range so the Tiger couldn't reach him. Sothe had to Shove him after getting the Boots, which required his full 7 Move, so Soren could attack Muarim and then Lethe Shoved Soren so he'd be attacked by Muarim on enemy phase. The luck required was Soren dodging/critting/Adepting one of the Laguz that would attack before Muarim and triggering Adept on Muarim at least once in his two rounds of combat. Yes, this was worth giving him Vantage.

Got the Guard, Silver Blade, Boots, Shine, and Coin (last two were pure luck).

Unit Level HP Str Mag Skl Spd Lck Def Res Support
Ike 17 38 13 4 15 16 12 12 6 C Soren, B Titania

Lethe 5 37	13	4	11	14	16	10	7
Kieran 18 34	14	1	13	14	10	13	2	C Oscar
Brom 14 33	12	1	12	9	5	16	3
Sothe 4 22	7	1	9	13	7	5	1

16: 6/90

Base: Build Ike/Soren B and Oscar/Kieran B. Use a Master Seal on Soren and give him Spirit Dust. Forge Brom a Lance because no one else needs one.

Map: This one was much simpler than the last one. 5 turns may have been possible, but this allowed me to get all four of Full Guard, Dracoshield, Silver Lance, and Ashera Icon, so I'm fine with this. I love having both Kieran and Oscar to help with Rescue-Drops.

Unit Level HP Str Mag Skl Spd Lck Def Res Support
Ike 19 40 15 4 16 17 12 13 7 B Soren, B Titania

Oscar 18 35	13	3	15	15	9	14	3	C Kieran
Soren 17/1 30	3	19	18	16	9	5	19	C Ike
Lethe 6 38	14	4	12	14	17	11	7
Kieran 19 35	15	1	13	15	10	13	2	C Oscar
Brom 14 33	12	1	12	9	5	16	3
Sothe 4 22	7	1	9	13	7	5	1

Stat boosters and skills:

Ike: Seraph Robe

Titania: Dracoshield

Soren: Vantage, Master Seal (17), Spirit Dust

Kieran: Master Seal (19)

I'm now sitting at Ch 17 with what feels like a mountain of stat boosters (Robe, Drop, Shield, Boots, 2 Wings, 2 Icons, 2 Arms Scrolls) that I have no clue what to do with. Suggestions?

P: 4 turns

Would rather not reveal my strategy.

1: 3

Not much to say. Grabbed the robe.

2: 4

Boyd and Ike hold their territory and then Titania shows up and wins.

3: 3

The hand axe business others have explained.

4: 2

Unfortunately the AI is smart here and suicides all the archers first in an effort to break the Hand Axe, but Maijin goes and fucks up in dropping the Javelin.

5: 6

Boyd uses the wing, and I don't trigger a lot of enemy units.

6: 5

Titania picks up Ike and goes down the left. Boyd fights some, and I make sure to not trigger the mage from coming over.

I've just discovered something (else) I really hate about this game. Equipping the Demi Band before a battle means that Laguz won't start with any gauge they normally do if unequipped later, like how Lethe and Janaff start with 16 so they can transform on turn 1. Unfortunately, this also means that if they have the Band equipped at the end of a battle, it will, obviously, still be equipped in the next chapter's base. Seeing as Chapter 18 is fairly long compared to most of this game's maps and I've drafted Janaff (and Lethe)...yeah...it figures that this would be right at a map where having a Janaff with fully transformed stats would actually be very beneficial.

Then again, if someone knows a way around this, please enlighten me. I've already tried resetting the game, going to back to base, etc.

7: 7

Titania loops left, up, right, and, up to clear out most everything. Boyd and Ike go up first and then intercept the reinforcement mage + soldier combos.

8: 8

I chose to defend.

9: 6

Tried for a while for the 5 turn, but barring a long shot with good rng fortune, the best strategy I came up with fell short by 1 point of damage. Lame.

And here's everything:

Stat boosters and skills:

Ike: Seraph Robe, Occult, Resolve, Wrath

Titania: Dracoshield, Adept

Oscar: Occult, Energy Drop

Soren: Vantage, Master Seal (17), Spirit Dust, Seraph Robe

Lethe: Smite

Kieran: Master Seal (19), Ashera Icon, Arms Scroll (Bow, from D), Occult

Brom: Nothing

Sothe: Shade

Janaff: Energy Drop, Dracoshield, Guard

Haar: Boots, Speedwing x2, Ashera Icon, Talisman, Arms Scroll (Axe, from B), Savior

I did not feel like restarting a ton for that and went for the 4 turn clear instead. Ike held back to minimize his chances of death while Titania charged. Surprisingly, Marcia dodged every single enemy attack, though since I didn't talk to her it doesn't matter anyway.

Pulling this off with Ike and Soren alive - and getting them decent experience - was actually rather difficult.

Same as the last one. Doing with everyone alive and getting them some kills wasn't too easy, though I did manage to get all notable dropped items (Hammer, Iron Blade, Ashera Icon).

6: 5/27

This was easier with Oscar to distract some enemies that would otherwise get in Titania's way of reaching the boss fast enough for a 5 turn clear. Soren mainly held back and distracted the Mage.

Map: Obvious turn count. Titania handled the south and boss. Ike and Soren went west, and I start building Soren's Fire level. Oscar held off the east until Titania could come in, then went south to eat up reinforcements. Got Ilyana and all that jazz.

Map: Lack of BEXP means I have no one to double the final Raven, requiring this one to be a 9 turn clear. Everyone except Sothe (who could not deal any damage) got some healthy experience, though, so I'm sure it will all be okay.

Base: Promote Kieran. Give him Bows and forge him a max MT/+15 Hit Iron Bow.

Map: 3 turns was harder than I expected it to be. I had to get Lethe to the Thicket on turn 2 (as far as she could move) so the Halberdier would come to attack her, allowing me to get rid of him early enough because Titania and Kieran couldn't get rid of him in time for a 3 turn clear otherwise due to him being surrounded. Aside from that, I also had to make sure I attacked all three of the Myrmidons at the back on turn 3 player phase because no one could double them to take them out alone, which meant getting rid of all the middle units took just about all the power I had.

Map: Trudging through swamp without Mordecai is painful, and Lethe can only Shove Titania. At least having Kieran and Titania meant I could get the Adept scroll, even though it took 4 turns. Boots might have sped it up a turn, but I opted to keep my progress and save them for later.

Forgot to record stats.

Base: Gave Janaff an Energy Drop. Sold some low use weapons, bought new ones, made a Hand Axe forge.

Map: I really dislike this map. I feel like I can beat it faster, but all the important stuff happens too late to really be worth resetting for. Those reinforcements at the back suck and it makes you wonder if IS timed them like that on purpose.

Map: Janaff had the Demi Band equipped at the end of the last map. I could have easily avoided it, but I didn't know it would give Janaff a permanent 0 base gauge at for the start of this map. Luckily this didn't hurt too badly, since a Laguz Stone means I only really lost a couple spaces (having the only Laguz on my team be the ones who start transformed helps). Titania drew in Naesala on turn 2 so I could get the Knight Ring and win on turn 4. I expect it to earn back that turn and more. That Full Guard was also worth it, seeing as Janaff was hit by Ballistae about three times.

Map: Send Haar and Ike north so Ike can rape. It pissed me off greatly that Ike's max MT Steel Sword was one damage short of killing literally, like, 5 enemies up there. I ended up using the Brave Sword a lot.

Base: Nothing. I decided everyone was good as is. Not even a forge was made.

Some words and kill counts.

Ike - 129 (2nd)

Quite a beast. Sword lock hurts, but luckily he has the stats to often not care. A lot of strategies relied on him being dropped to take shit down.

Titania - 228 (1st)

MVP, quite obviously. Once Oscar and Kieran got going she fell behind but was always a great asset. Being the only mount Shovable by Lethe also gave her some unique utility over the others.

Oscar - 113 (3rd)

Part of my main fighting force once he got going. He never seemed quite as good as Kieran but was always a big help.

Soren - ?

He did what I drafted him for. His use was mostly situational, but mostly irreplaceable. Good show.

Lethe - 50 (5th)

Mostly good early on for being a fast, mobile unit while everyone else was still catching up. Good for Shoving, though not as good as Mordecai, unfortunately.

Kieran - 94 (4th)

He became my main fighting force on promotion when Ike couldn't keep up. He loves to kill things.

Brom - 17

Failure. A few Shoves are all he was worth. If I hadn't already drafted Kieran I'd have gone for Bastian instead.

Sothe - ?

He saved me a turn or two in different places. Nothing special, but he earned his place for the time I drafted him.

Janaff - 27

His flight came in handy on more than one occasion. Even with the boosts his combat was never that good, but he was good as an extra hand.

Haar - 30

If only he came sooner. He still made his chapters faster, though, and the Speed boosts really helped.

Final count: 183
