[FE4] Rate the Unit XIX

Rules (Borrowed from whomever made them first with modifications)

- Ratings to be assumed from when a unit is first available.

- Votes need some explanation regarding their gameplay performance to be counted (unless they fall into the general parameters of the average rating, but reasoning is still strongly encouraged on those even if you just wanna quote people) — incredibly low scores or high scores without proper justification will not be counted. Don't put in some random text thinking it'd count as justification. Put in at least a little thought and give REAL reasoning.

- Numbers for votes, please - not something like "Sigurd/10", etc.

- Personality / Appearance may be taken into account, but only +/- 1 point at the most.

- Votes out of 10, or something proportional to it, please!

- Make votes easily visible, please and thank you!

- Every ranking phase will end on the next day at approximately 10:00 PM (or 22:00), EST.

DAY 19: SYLVIA

___

She's a dancer. I think that's enough to warrant a 10.

But what's awesome about Sylvia is that she can dance 4 units at once. She's also probably going to have the Knight and possibly Leg rings, which allows her to do a crapton more.

She also can actually fight, but that doesn't do much because she sucks at combat.

Not to mention she can make epic Leens and Corples. (especially if she fucks Levin or her brother Claude)

10/10, easily. Even if she had points docked she'd get +1 for bias because she's my favorite dancer in the series.

Also, best quote ever:

"Good little gi...

You ever see a little girl with THESE before!?

Grr... what a moron."

Who gives Sylvia the Leg Ring anyways? Sigurd all the way.

Leen could use the Leg Ring simply so she could dance Celice and Leaf though.

Awful stats, terrible combat. It doesn't matter however, she can dance and refresh 4 units at once. Prayer gives her some potential in the arena but with dancing is her forte. In all honesty, Corple and Leen don't care who their father is. As long as Corple has some stuff to sell, he's all set.

9/10

9/10, ridiculous but in order for her to do really anything past turn 2 she needs to be Rescue Staffed or get Leg + Knight Ring. She makes great use of those though.

10/10.

Nobody contributes more towards the Gen 1 XP rank, by helping all those scrubs get the extra kills they need, and few help more to the Gen 1 tactics rank, by letting Sigurd get an extra turn of movement every so often. Prayer can usually save her from missteps on the battlefield, and give her at least a fighting chance in the Arena.

9/10. I despise dancers, but the FE4 dancers have almost everything going for them. Alllllllmost. Sylvia has to get docked a point for lousy combat (though at least she can hit back!) and having foot unit movement unless she gets the Leg Ring (which, if nothing else, she makes a stronger case for than anyone but Sigurd). However, four-unit refresh in a game with huge movement ranges and re-move for mounted units means that, in the proper situations (and these situations are not hard to engineer), she either allows four horsemen to rocket forward almost 20 spaces or to slaughter twice the enemies per turn. Also, since this is FE4, she has no deployment cost, so her existence takes away from no deployment limit and therefore there's no reason not to use her at every opportunity. Nothing is lost, so unless you're somehow constantly getting her in trouble, she's pure gain. Still, she's ever so slightly fragile, and so she can't be rated as highly as Sigurd. She can, however, be rated close, because she does pretty much the one thing Sigurd doesn't do... okay neither of them heals but whatever.

Plus if she dies you get a potentially better dancer in the Second Gen anyway so maybe her low durability is an advantage.

Dancers are always useful, but Sylvia's got quadruple refreshing, the ability(with the Leg ring and Knight Ring) to potentially keep up with the mounted units you didn't refresh the previous turn. Sigurds the best fighting unit, Sylvia is pretty much the best support one.

9.5/10

Hm...

She's saved me nary a turn in drafts all one times I've had her so far, but she doesn't have as much punch as her daughter's replacement.

On the other hand, she's a little girl with THESE, never seen that before.

9/10
