I voted eCut. Multiple reasons why, mainly the other ones were all just SUPER FLASHY HAIR while eCut's is actually a far more badass Karel. I can't stress how amazing that is, to convert the three given mugs into Karel, and a better Karel at that. Not only that, but it's also the one that looks the least like the three original mugs too! How the fuck...

Props to Freohr and Amelia and Vamp for their crazy hair though, pretty slick.

Lumi cause the cloth is so pretty :D and the fur too and it's clean and I love it :D

Amelia was a close second for my vote, just felt that a little more work on the face would make it stand out :D

On a side note. I voted for Amelia. Its just really awesome and clean and i liked the concept the best.

I voted Amelia because it's not just the cleanest--it's the only one that doesn't have really-obvious layering issues or perspective issues. Almost every other entry is full of disproportionate head/hair sizes or other random things just... blargh. Freohr Datia would've taken my vote though if only that chest-thing wasn't so ambiguous, and if it were actually part of the mugshot rather than layered over it D:

Omfg that was really hard. So many awesome entries! I love contests like this! Dis must happen more!

Anyway, eCut got my vote in the long run. It was a tough choice. All of these mugs are amazing. Amelia's was nice looking, clean and dat headdress. Free's had dat hair going on. Lumi's had that gender-bent Jaqen H'ghar going on. Xiltas's had nice colors. Vamp's had dat shoulder armor. Nova's was a good try.

But eCut's Karel won my vote because its just...Its Karel out of like other people and that face and hair just rock my socks. Its just so sexy! <3

If I had multiple votes, the second one would go for eCut's sprite, because of... pretty much what Adolf Klokler said.

The decision overall was really hard because half of the really awesome spriters of this board participated. Please, more rounds like this one! It's really cool to see what good spriters can do from the same limited ressources.

Going with Amelia's on this one, I just love the headdress and how beautifully clean it is. Props to Free, Ecut, Lumi, and Vamp as well for this round. Hell, this was a great round. One of the best we've had in a while.
