Like it would be a reason in FE8... Gerik even don't have speed issues, while there are THREE other Garm users, every want it more. If it's still undecided by the time he's level 20 though, I'll put up another poll. I'd make him a Ranger. I love Rangers (Nmd. Troopers), except in Awakening. Normally, I make him a Ranger, and don't use Garcia at all. But when I do use Garcia, this is how it goes for me: 1. Garcia Hero and Gerik Ranger 2. Garcia Warrior and Gerik Hero Just for some variety. But I'd go with Ranger, to have some Longbow users. Since you already missed your chance with Garcia. I did number 1 the first (and only other time) I played this game, and Gerik was absolutely fantastic (Garcia got strength screwed). But does Garcia have S in Axes already? If so, that's a potential to have all your units use legendary weapons scrapped. Besides, Audhulma would cover a lack of Res (though it could be worse in this playthrough) While Niddhog gives Luck. A stat that might not be effective at all. :( Finally, do you have to recruit everyone? Because Syrene will be a bitch to get in 18 (I think it's that chapter.
