This is list is meant to be comprehensive but I've left out things that are largely outdated or have their contents duplicated somewhere else.

I would prefer that as many links as possible are on-site, as much as I appreciate links to tools and tutorials on sites like ROMhacking.net or gbadev (does anybody here even use gbadev lol), most of them are out of the scope of what the members of this site are likely to need.

I think it might be useful to include wav insertion in the tutorial section since I don't think there's one there now

Also Dei's phantom animation is in the feditor archive already so I don't think it needs a separate link

It's rather awkward that you have to visit two different threads to get all of the FE8 modules. Mind if I upload what I think is the complete set? It includes updates to the definition files (eg Bigl -> Mogall, Cougar -> Cormag, Dragonkiller ->Wyrmslayer), lists more of the generic 'characters' like Remnant and Merc, and fixes this issue.

I would suggest organizing the sections a bit

like, in each section group up the links by game or whether they're 'general' info that can be used for multiple games

or alternatively just group everything by game instead of subject

That wouldn't have taken so long if the forum software weren't buggy with copy/pasted spoilers...

I'm wondering if maybe the Nightmare stuff should go under tools. And why aren't FEditor Adv and FEXP in tools? They're tools too. Well, FEXP could be debatable but FEditor for sure.

i'm keeping FEXP and FEditor (and the actual nightmare program) out of tools and at the top of the page because those are basically the essentials (and thus shouldn't be tucked away into some spoiler IMO)

can I recommend not sticking everything into layers of spoilers, since it might be useful to be able to Ctrl+F

and grouping per game as the highest tier would be less cluttered and faster for those looking for a specific game

That's actually a very good question. Back when I did my FE5R run on youtube, I encountered a fatal flaw in the rom that broke my game on chapter 6. I then discovered that the modules only partially worked for that rom, and after much checking managed to find the correct rom that did NOT break.

That being said, I have no idea what version it was, but I know it was from dgemu. Check there, maybe one of those will work for you.

My apologies, all I saw was "I don't know which version I was using but it worked and I got it from DGEmu" which is actually against forum rules lel but upon investigation it appears that DGEmu only hosts the ROM version which may or may not answer the question

Len1million, which version of the ROM have you tried to use?
