Took me a few minutes to find out who he reminds me of. But hell I gotta say this Marth reminds me of Young Link from Ocarina. At least the front page, make his hair blonde and his ears pointy and hey there's quite a resemblence there. This shows that the Fire Emblem anime is what really set in stone Marth's modern appearance. There have been minor tweaks here and there like in FE11, but it always goes back to that girly look. It really makes me question the ability of words to justify the set up for this comic... or what the punchline of the joke could possibly add to that. This Marth incarnation looks kinda off to me. Also put some pants on Merric, Marth has them, there's no reason you shouldn't. Why is Minerva naked? Why by her brother? There are some strange implications around that comic. I am slightly disturbed by these short comics though...How did they manage to get away with it 20+ years ago? It's nice someone considered giving Marth trousers... Needless to say, I'm sure that people are more interested in the profiles rather than the tactics themselves, so I have made a start on that at least. According to the notes about her, she did a manga for Legend of Zelda: Triforce of the Gods (Japanese title for A Link to the Past). So to answer your question, I don't think she's the same as the FE4 artists. You can also see that a lot of the pictures are signed off as 'Junko7', but this isn't on everything. I have scanned and uploaded the 'boring' page, but unfortunately I still haven't got round to the rest and although the translations below seem fairly standard, it also doesn't have any substance. Please bear with me since Taguchi's art really is something! Taguchi Junko 田口順子 (Illustrations) She is an emerging illustrator and is drawing the upcoming manga of "Legend of Zelda: Triforce of the Gods". She became fully immersed in FE and a lot of effort was put into her illustrations, from cover to cover. If it wasn't for all of the images by Taguchi-san, this would never have taken shape. Her illustrations convey what other cannot. Takeda Youko 武田洋子 (Comic illustrations) She draws illustrations for manuals for Ascii Company Limited. This time, we have chosen her because she too is passionate about FE. Her 4Koma and 1Koma both add a special touch in the book. It seems that she really likes the Saji, Maji and Barst trio. Not used to seeing Marth looking like that at all either! This is definitely something that Serenes should have ha. And it's something that could be added to the FE wikia too! May have to link to there as well~ If that's ok, that is. ^^ EDIT - Is this an official strategy guide? I'm going to assume yes, but thought I'd ask. I decree that no Nintendo museum will ever have a Fire Emblem section without a MINIMUM 6' painting of that Medeus picture and mounted on a custom frame with all the FE1/3/11/12 cast on it.
