Arthur's is fine. He's basically the Captain America of the Fire Emblem world, so him getting a really harsh comic book style works.
Navarre looks like... I mean, the artwork is fine, but Navarre just looks off. Way too feminized. He's always been feminine, but this takes it past 11 and all the way to at least 15.
Eliwood, I think, just has bad artwork. His eyes are in his forehead.
Honestly, Navarre doesn't look all that feminine tbh. He looks just fine in comparison to his original art style, as it seems like a "revamp" into a more polished version. It's nice and has a good amount of detail and is far superior to other art styles IMHO. The worst I've noticed is Chrom's. Thin chin, zero muscle mass, wonky eyes.

There's literally nothing wrong with what you're complaining about, but I'll try to keep this as composed as possible.
- Aptitude only boosts the chance of gaining a stat point upon level up. (+10% to all growths).
- The Warp skill is legitimately obtained in the Witch's Trial DLC, meaning it's perfectly legal for every unit to have the Warp skill.
- You can get the Iote's Shield, Point Blank, Paragon, (stat)taker skills, etc through the DLC that was just released in Japan. While it isn't released in America officially, you can still access it by injecting your save into a Japanese copy and playing it on there. You would then be able to inject it back, retaining everything you've obtained. The Pebble dagger, Vanguard's Brand, Exalt's Brand, Fell Brand, and Hero's Brand and any skill scroll are in the DLC's data and will be removed from your save upon loading the file back up again.
- In the case of movement, each unit can legitimately have +2 permanent MOV from Boots.
- It's perfectly legitimate and possible to get +7 of any normal weapon that isn't a "legendary" weapon through the Museum Melee DLC, it's just rather tedious to the point where most decide against it.
- While it's illegal to have all characters receive all stats to around 70, it's still possible to boost every unit's stat caps through building statues in My Castle.
- Anna remains recruited if recruited in the Japanese DLC and injected back into an American copy.
- There's a similar post about it, but having anything outright "illegal" will get you blacklisted and softbanned from using online features. Examples would be having everyone as the Hoshido or Nohr Noble classes and using more than two Kitsune or Wolfskin units.
I hope this answered any questions and helped you reach a better understanding of what's considered legal/illegal.

If you guys still want additional help proofreading and testing, I'd be more than happy to help. I own an American N3DS and a Japanese N3DS with physical copies of the special edition, White Night Kingdom, and Dark Night Kingdom. I also have Cubic Ninja and plan on getting a Japanese copy of Cubic Ninja. lol
-
If that's the case then, musn't MaMui pick Oni Savage as their secondary class if they wish to have access ot all class sets, and don't plan on marrying Rinkah?
Nope, they can use the Buddy Seal on anyone with A-rank support level.
-
Because the only way to get Astra is to go through Swordmaster.
You wouldn't need to use it in any actual battles, though.
-
Again, I'm not doing this for try-hardiness. I'm aware that Brady!Donnel is terrible, but I do it for personal reasons... I feel like it explains why Brady talks the way he does, and I like how his hair matches his robes as War Cleric.
I mean, again. 57 in Luck? The hell am I supposed to do with that??
...I shouldn't mention that I've made Virion the father of Kjelle, should I...?
But this is just particularly challenging. Donny has a terrible skill selection...
Brady talks the way he does because Maribelle and his potential father died early on because of the risen though. lol High Luck is pretty good, actually. Miracle builds, critical reduction for the enemy, avoid boost due to Luck's overall factor temperance, and more. As Joth said, Donnel!Kjelle is an amazing choice. Although, passing down Underdog would overall be the better idea since Underdog has a use after Kjelle hits her stat caps. Gaius!Noire doesn't sound too bad either.
-
I like the sound of zeal.
Donny sounds like the type of guy to always be strivin!
But I'm still debating his final option for a skill. I'm starting off the reclassing with Bow Knight: I plan on having Brady with Rally Skill and Speed in the end, and I might as well pass it down.
Should I take either of the Breakers, or what? I don't have TOO many options...
It'd be best to just have a logbook avatar be your rally bot, honestly. One male, one female. Also; you should have Donnel pass down Underdog rather than Rally Skill and Maribelle pass down Galeforce rather than Rally Speed, it's just overall a better option than passing down Rally skills. Personally though, I always gave Donnel the following build;
Class: Dread Fighter/Hero
Weapons: Brave Sword/Brave Axe/Celica's Gale (Latter included if you're using the Dread Fighter class.)
- Limit Breaker (Overall stat boost.)
- Sol (It's his only activation ability, he may as well use it.)
- Aggressor (While you're against it, it's a really could skill to use for front-lining units. Especially when combined with Brave weapons.)
- Axebreaker (Rendering axe users nigh-useless against Donnel when he wields a sword.)
- Underdog/Resistance +10 (If he's a Dread Fighter, Underdog since he'll almost always make use of it due to the nature of these types of classes. Otherwise, Resistance +10 works as a great filler for its defensive properties. Although, Bowbreaker can be seen as useful in Apotheosis too. Resistance +10 still has its merit in this scenario, however.)
Hope that helped.
-
If you're doing Lunatic+, you pretty much never want to be in a position where you're attacking counter units in melee anyway, and swordmaster is a pretty crappy class for Lunatic+ anyway, so that's kinda irrelevant. That build was for apotheosis, where counter never becomes a problem because you can rout and attack from range.
Ah, alright. Where did you get Swordmaster from that, though? lol
-
It's pretty solid as-is, really. Personally, I'd drop All Stats +2 for Astra. That's up to you, however.

I'll be honest, I have had FE:A since two mounths after it's launch in 2013, and I haven't played hard mode once. I am, for the first time, trying hard mode and it is a whole different world from normal (You probably know this). I am on the 5th chapter and I'm stumped. I have completed this game 5 times on normal mode, so I know how the storyline goes. I was wondering if some more expirenced players could offer incite onto any strategies that I should take on hard mode. I also have the fallowing DLC: Golden pack, R&R 3, LB 2-3, and SB 2-3.
Thank you.
You can solo Normal/Hard mode with your tactician by using Frederick as a pair-up partner. lol Once you're a suitable level, you can just use Chrom as your pair-up partner and just trivialize the entire game. Oooor, I'd recommend grinding Lissa up and having her heal as much as possible as one thing to note. Fruity Insanity handled nearly all of the points to go over. The easiest route would be to just use your MU and Frederick for the first five maps and then stick to your MU and Chrom. lol

Hello!
I am planning on making Libra!Owain a Dread Fighter in my current Lunatic playthrough, and I don't know which skills would be optimal for him. I already made the pairing, and I plan on passing Galeforce with Lissa (hello grinding) and Renewal with Libra (I'm really open for suggestions for this one though).
The final skill set I plan on having is:
Galeforce
Renewal
Vantage
Vengeance
Astra
Other skills I'm considering are Swordfaire, Agressor, Limit Breaker and Lifetaker.
What skills would be optimal for him? I'm open for suggestions outside of those choices since I never used a Dread Fighter before :P
Thanks!
I'd recommend replacing Renewal with Miracle and Astra with Limit Breaker. I'd also recommend Wrath over Galeforce, honestly.
-
I main Jigglypuff and Marth. That's about it, really.

Brady comes with Luna. Pegasus Knight turns into Cavalier.
But Lucina x Severa isn't solid at all. There's literally no merit to it, it does absolutely nothing better than a normal husband. Dual Guard + is borderline useless since you want to be on the attack. And maybe Galeforce isn't necessary, but it's easily the best option, there's no good reason to withhold it from any build outside of a challenge run.
The benefits of Dual Support + are negligible, generally amounting to a 5-10 increase in hit and avoid (critical and critical avoid are largely irrelevant in Apotheosis since luck is high enough on both ends outside of critical builds to render critical hits a non-factor. She's be much better off with Astra to greatly reduce the risk of whiffing.
VV is not a team player. You have to build your entire team around VVing if you want to do VV, it's not something that somebody who's making a thread asking for advice would be interested in doing. Besides, it generally needs 100% DS, meaning it's not going to be happening for anyone not married to Lucina.
Genuinely never knew about the Brady always getting Cavalier part, actually. In all honesty though, you should be able to make any build with any character work as long as their build actually makes sense and coincides with eachother. As for comparing them to a husband, that much is true. Also; Dual Support+ bonuses can actually pull through right when you need them, honestly. Astra can easily get you killed by a random Lunatic+ counterbot. As for Vantage-Vengeance not being a team player, what do you mean? Why would you have to build your entire team around it? Don't you normally incorporate your builds into the team as-is? In regards to Apotheosis however, I can see the lack of need for Dual Support+ due to Rally bots trivializing it. Why not replace it with the more reliable Luna to take out enemies rather than Astra? Astra tends to biff you over after you're pushed into a corner. Also; eh, it's still a pretty close number in regards to the Dual Strike rating. Great advice regardless, though.

I finally got around to actually using my codes to add an extra Morgan to Paralogue 12, and when I got around to looking at parent pointers the extra Morgan I added and recruited now has its own separate parent pointer despite having been created with a duplicate of the original Morgan's. After running into some wonkiness with sibling supports between more than two siblings, I've also figured out how parent and sibling supports are stored in the table that the parent pointer points to.
[spoiler=Parent Table Offsets]0x00 father pointer
0x04 asset/flaw
0x06 unknown 2 bytes
0x08 grandparent 1 pointer
0x0C asset/flaw
0x0E unknown 2 bytes
0x10 grandparent 2 pointer
0x14 asset/flaw
0x16 unknown 2 bytes
0x18 support with father
0x19 unknown 3 bytes
0x1C mother pointer
0x20 asset/flaw
0x22 unknown 2 bytes
0x24 grandparent 3 pointer
0x28 asset/flaw
0x2A unknown 2 bytes
0x2C grandparent 4 pointer
0x30 asset/flaw
0x32 unknown 2 bytes
0x34 support with mother
0x35 unknown 3 bytes
0x38 sibling support
0x39 unknown 3 bytes?
Changing the unknown bytes above didn't trigger any noticeable changes, though I didn't look into them very much. Also, on the subject of parents, in roster table entries the byte at offset 0x96 appears to govern whether a character is married to Maiden or not, with values 0x40 or higher making the character's spouse Maiden. This triggers the appearance of child paralogues, but keeping the value caused a crash preventing Owain's paralogue from starting (which was the only one I tested). Reverting the value of the 0x96 byte to 00 after the paralogue appears is an easy way to generate fatherless children.
Stat modifiers are calculated by grandparents' mods + parents' mods + all assets/flaws (applies for non-Avatars too) + 1, which presumably pulls values for everyone from the static character table where all characters with dynamic caps (children, Avatar) have 0 modifiers.

Regular (non-parent/sibling) support levels are stored in the roster table entries. I'll repost the structure since it hasn't been posted in a while and the link in the first post is incomplete. Each entry is 0x110 bytes and corresponds to a character slot, and the pointer stored at 0x03CF1100 (US)/0x03CF2100 (EU)/0x03CEE100 (JP) gives the starting location of the roster table.

0xBE weapon ranks (6 bytes)
0xC4 support ranks (0x3F = 63 bytes?)
0x104 hair color (4 bytes, rrggbbff, rgba)
I'd like to confirm that this actually does work on MUs of any variant. It also saves support data of the MU and its parents in its logbook entry.

This is pretty poor advice actually, you NEVER want to go into Apotheosis without either Galeforce or an extremely advanced plan involving VV.
And sibling pair ups do not compare to romantic ones, especially for two girls, because nobody's rocking Aggressor. And you're not even doing a sibling pair there, meaning the DS rate will be nightmarishly bad and it's a horrible waste of Lucina's DS+.
Severa will want to use the skills I specified and marry Sage Laurent, Dread Fighter Brady or Dread Fighter Owain and have a Magic asset on MaMU. With AS+2 she'll be able to hit 75 speed in this build with the latter two, and thanks to the Grandmaster pairup bonuses, they'll be able to hit 69 speed (LQ!Brady just barely fails to hit 75 speed sadly). Brady and Owain would want LB/GF/Luna/Astra/Agg, and Laurent would want AS+2/Mag+2/Agg/LB/Tomefaire.
Honestly, Galeforce isn't absolutely necessary for Apotheosis. Some units with it don't hurt, sure. However, it isn't absolutely necessary. I've completed it with only one Galeforce unit, I'm sure you can too. Anyhow, I gave the advice without any prior knowledge on their asset/flaw as-is while satisfying their request for an offensive/main pair-up unit Severa rather than a support pair-up unit. lol Your advice isn't bad by any means, I just wouldn't go around saying it's poor advice on my part without the lack of Galeforce. :V That aside, replacing All Stats +2 or Tome/Swordfaire with Galeforce would suffice as well for Apotheosis, the Lucina pair-up bit was meant as a solid support pair-up unit. I can, however, see the better option of having a Limit Breaker/Galeforce S-ranked partner too.
As for your skill builds revolving around Brady and Owain, I assume Lissa or Maribelle would have to marry Ricken. Brady wouldn't be able to get Astra because of this, ergo, your best bet would have to be Owain. If Brady's father is Lon'qu, he wouldn't have access to Luna in that case. I'd also assume they would be wielding Celica's Gale. Also; I'd personally go with Henry!Owain due to the Vengeance build. With all this said, I still stand by that;
- Limit Breaker (Self-explanatory.)
- All Stats +2 (Self-explanatory.)
- Ignis (Damage buffer.)
- Galeforce (Since an extra turn to fight or flight is high in demand.)
- Dual Support+ (For extra pair-up bonuses.)
Is optimal for Severa, whereas Henry!Sorcerer/Dread Fighter!Owain wielding a forged Waste/Celica's Gale should have;
- Limit Breaker (Self-explanatory.)
- Miracle (To get in Vengeance-kill range.)
- Vengeance (To annihilate all who approach you.)
- Wrath (Critcal hit boost to go hand-in-hand.)
- Vantage (So Owain can attack with a Vengeance-Crit hit before he gets hit.)
This is more optimal than the Galeforce build listed in my opinion rather than the build you listed. It'd still work of course, I just prefer this myself. If you really want Galeforce too, you can just as easily slap Galeforce over Miracle. Better?
-
I just realized, what about DLC Prince Marth, shouldn't that be mentioned as well?
Edit: Not to be confused with Spotpass Prince Marth, they're two different units fyi lol
Well, DLC Prince Marth is less valuable than Spotpass Prince Marth. They have the same Asset/Flaw yet the DLC one has less "unique" skills worth merit. Aptitude + Charm < Dual Attack+, Dual Support+, Charm, and Luck +4. lol
-
Personally, I always used King Marth wielding Parallel Falchion with the build;
- Limit Breaker (Overall stat boost.)
- Rightful King (Plus ten percentage to all activation skills.)
- Pavise (Defense buffer.)
- Aegis (Resistance buffer.)
- Astra (Source of damage combined with Rightful King.)
Alongside Prince Marth as his pair-up unit wielding a forged Brave Sword named Falchion with the build;
- Limit Breaker (Overall stat boost.)
- Armsthrift (Unlimited uses out of forged Brave Sword.)
- Dual Attack+ (Dual Attack bonuses.)
- Dual Guard+ (Dual Guard bonuses.)
- Dual Support+ (Pair-up bonuses.)
It's a pretty decent duo, really.
-
I'd love to do this, really. Although, it'd be a mix of enabling same-sex marriage and making an original story with the same maps. I'd assume it'd still be able to connect with other copies of FEif due to failsafe coding, oui?
-
War Cleric fits her character better, but Sage fits her stats better. Also she rocks the Emmeryn outfit.
Her stats don't entirely matter too much, though. Bride and War Cleric can suit her overall, although Sage is the better option if you don't want to grind to increase Lissa's Strength.
Melee Lissa master race. -
If you want a Magic optimized Owain!Morgan, go with Ricken!Owain. If you want a better Skill stat, go with Henry!Owain. Owain in-general would be the better choice given how you're suited with the Magic stat. I'd then recommend pairing up Tharja with whoever you didn't choose for Lissa and have Morgan marry Noire. Also; don't forget to pass down Galeforce to Owain! He may not use it, yet it's still important for him to pass down to your Morgan. Now, if you want an Aether!Morgan build, here's what you do. Make a Skill asset Magic flaw MaMU, have Chrom marry Sumia, then marry Lucina or Cynthia and watch as your Morgan bursts out of the womb throwing swords. You would then make Morgan the Hero class and make your MaMU the Hero class to make use of his boosted Skill stat. Watch as your Morgan S-rank supported/paired up by a Lon'qu!Yarne curbstomp maps.
Build for Ricken/Henry!Owain!Morgan;
Class: Sorcerer
Weapon: Aversa's Night (Forged.)
Skills;
- Limit Breaker (Overall stat boost.)
- Galeforce (For those extra turns.)
- Armsthrift (To abuse the forged Aversa's Night.)
- Astra (That extra kick for when you least expect it.)
- Luna (Reliable damage buffer.)
Build for Henry!Owain
Class: Dread Fighter (Assuming you have it.)
Weapon: Celica's Wind x5 (Forged.)
Skills;
- Limit Breaker (Overall stat boost.)
- Vengeance (For some good ol' Vengeance build goodness.)
- Vantage (So that you always kill on-coming enemies with Vengeance plus Wrath.)
- Miracle (To get your HP at an appropriate level of one.)
- Wrath (Critical bombs sure are neato.)
Build for Ricken!Owain
Class: Sage or Dread Fighter (Assuming you have it.)
Weapon: Celica's Wind x5 (Forged.)
Skills;
- Limit Breaker (Overall stat boost.)
- Aggressor/Tomefaire (Plus ten to your damage when initiating attack or Tomefaire if you don't have the Dread Fighter class DLC bought.)
- Galeforce (Extra turns here and there.)
- Astra (Extra kick in the groin damage boost.)
- Luna (Reliable damage buffer.)
Build for Sumia!Lucina/Cynthia!Morgan;
Class: Hero
Weapon(s): Brave Sword, Killing Edge, and Ragnell. (All are forged, save for the Ragnell.)
Skills;
- Limit Breaker (Overall stat boost.)
- Armsthrift (Saves your weapons from the possibility of breaking.)
- Pavise (Defense buffer.)
- Aegis (Resistance buffer.)
- Aether (Your kapow, shabang. Fairly reliable curbstomping power.)
Hope this helped.

Basically, after a pairing goes to S rank, you are taken to a character customization screen, similar to the one for the Avatar. There, you can assign their looks, name, and even gender.
Would you like it if that was in the game?
Only if this applies to Morgan, then I would. Select their name, hair colour, hair style, face, and starting base class. That'd be pretty ideal for me.
