    I'm sad to say that practically nobody hacks FE12, which means you're on your own.

    Hey Vince. Do you know if there's any way to change an unit's base class(e.g. Change Shiida's class from Pegasus Knight to Myrmidon)? I got the growths down but I need to know how to change there classes.

    Ha ha yeah a big bag of laughs. Stupidity aside, I can't come up with any good bios for FE8 characters. The FE8 cast is terrible, boring, and dull. Very few characters, such as Nino, Ross, L'Arachel and co, and etc do anything worth remembering in the main story. There's supports, but most of the supports are also bland!

    FE7 has lots of memorable characters, like Serra, Erk, Nils, Hector, Matthew, Nino, Jaffar, etc... they are all interesting and have not only memorable personality traits, but also contribute to the story in a meaningful way! FE8's cast is bland and forgettable at best.

    Troll more please.

    Now I have one little problem. The HUGE cast of playable characters in fe6. Fe6 has like double the amount of characters than Fe8. So I would like to know which characters you guys think are important enough to get in this game! I havnt played Fe6 in a while, so if theres anyone that pulls an Orson in fe6, please do tell :D

    If I were you I would just put in the characters I like in the hack and leave the characters I don't care for out.

    Also I wouldn't mind doing one of these, but with FE5's cast over FE8's.

    Task : I want mugs remavps of Eirika, Tana, Forde, and Selena. Along with mugs for Marth, Catria, Katarina, Ogma(Based on this http://serenesforest.net/media/complete/Oguma.jpg ), Abel(FE11/12 look but with his buckteeth from FE1), Barst, and Shiida.
    Timeframe : Within 5-7 months
    Compensation : Personal thanks, credit in hack, or financial offerings.

    Project (if applicable) : No topic yet, but I'm currently planning on a hack. So project TBA.

    Task : A map in FE7 tilesets. Kind of the same as this map. The bottom left house would be an inn. House will all have yellow roofs on them because iirc, the red roof houses require some tile changing.

    Timeframe : By the end of this year...

    But there is no real timeframe. So take your time.

    Compensation : Personal thanks, credit in hack, or offers.

    Hi everyone! Just an update.

    Seeing that alot of people praise non-reskins hacks more, I'm might scarp this project. I'm may take NICKT's advice and wait for FEXNA, whenever the damn thing comes out. However, I would just like to know. Should I still work on this? I know it's a reskin and I said I was going to put this project down, but the wait for FEXNA is just killing me and I've got too much free time on my hands. So if you want to see me continue on this or start a new, let me know.

    Sorry if I sounded desperate. :sweatdrop:

    Thoughts.

    I don't think the one new mug I see is that bad.

    You have the ability to import maps, that's great.

    Palettes, also a plus.

    English definitely seems to be lacking but you can't be perfect at everything.

    It's not bad, and just because it's a reskin doesn't mean it's shitty. Likewise, just because something isn't a reskin doesn't make it amazing either, just generally better. I think you show some promise.

    Yes the english is very, VERY lacking. Right now I'm frying my brains out trying to write the plot for Chapter 1. I also need someone to proofread the prologue.

    What is this?:


    This is a FE8 reskin(Yes, a reskin.) that take place in the Akaneia universe, with Magvel replacing Alm's continent. Since I'm too impatient to wait for FEXNA, I might as well try and learn how to really hack FE. Despite this being a reskin, I plan on adding custom animations, editing maps, and more stuff I can't think about.


    Plot summary(I suck at these Dx ):


    After the War of Heroes, Akaneia reassemble it's union. Once day, Akaneia invaded Magvel, a peaceful and quiet continent for reasons unknown. Join Eirika, the Princess of Renais, her body-gourd Adam, and others to stop the intentions of the Akaneia continent.

    I must say, compare to the other time I tried hacking, I made quite some progress.



    Things I need help with:


    Proofreading and Writing: My english skill is very shitty(See my plot summary).

    Graphics: I SUCK at art.

    [FE8] Map Troubles

    Hello. So I'm working on a little project to learn how to hack Fire Emblem. However something is giving me problems. I edited the map of Chapter 2 in Tiled and it worked fine in game, but when I was doing other things to my hack, I discover that the map was messing up.
