  1. I forgot to count because I focussed too much on battle. Anyways beaten them although I failed to bring their HP down. I did it in my previous attempts but I paid for it by letting them use their special craft and causing a massacre to my anger. So I didn't do it this time.
  2. Alright, just was confused what 40 turns exactly means. I know now. All my units have to act 40 times in total. Thanks for your help! Trying my luck again.
  3. Ok, just the question: When does this battle end? Also, what does unwinnable mean exactly? If your party dies => Game Over It's not the same as the fights against Sara from 1.
  4. I brought one down to <50% HP. More than a short cutscene when he says sth. didn't happen. Do I have to bring both <50%?
  5. I used Rean's motivate and Elliot's surrounding beat or what his skill called (defense boost). I can barely do damage to the two if I have to use healing artes / items all the time.
  6. ToCS 2 makes me . Well, I'll restart this game on easy mode (RIP 6h) because if I can't stand one thing in RPGs, then (over)grindning. I was referring to the two bosses you have to fight in Garrelia Fortress. Not that they only have ridiculous HP, they can also even oneshot my party members.
  7. Doesn't apply anymore thanks to overpowered douche duo in Garellia Fortress. Also 160000 HP lol me. That's more than the final boss in 1 had.
  8. Sure, it'll keep playing! I didn't waste a half of my day just to grab this game and then to quit after like 10%. However I'm heavily struggling right now. Beating it in my like 20th attempt. Just didn't know it was an unwinnable battle. Instead of focussing on survival I tried to take them out... and had to pay for that by letting them use their special crafts.
  9. I played 5 first because its gameplay was more interesting for me. Its gameplay reminds me more on the modern parts. However it still features unique mechanics like capturing and fatigue. FE4 is pretty much unique too with their gameplay and chapter structure. As for the story you actually don't have to play FE4 first to understand the entire story of Judgral. Sure, some conclusions become more plausible if you played FE4 yet, but it's not like that you get thrown into cold water - referring to the story - if you play 5 first.
  10. Oh, I see. Somehow I thought this limit was lifted after the upgrade, but I was wrong apparently. Also you can't edit your polls easily. At least before the upgrade there was the issue that all the users who voted for sth. which has been removed after a while, they couldn't give a new vote because their old vote was still saved in the poll somehow. Idk if this has been fixed.
  11. Added the rest of chapter 1-1 to my previous post so don't wonder why I start with 1-2 here. Chapter 1-2: Escape from Marpha (part 1)
  12. Yeah, doing chapter 1 currently.
  13. FE4 Also wouldn't it be easier to put this question in a poll? It would save time and effort because you don't need to read all the posts. In general this thread could be handled easier if six polls were made about your 1-3 most favorite and 1-3 least favorite FE parts. Then you let the people vote for like a couple of weeks because not everyone is online everyday and is able to vote in each "battle". This would kill the "battle effect" but it would be fairer because more people would have a chance to vote in and the result would be more meaningful consequently.
  14. Heh... Shirley is still celebrating carnival!? adorable BTW who's the girl on the chain?
  15. Having a party of only members against 4-5 enemies was really nasty for me sometimes. And if one of them was confused... well then RIP! I was close enough to a party wipe out several times. The good thing is that healing items have a purpose now. In 1 I used them very rarely.
  16. Have played ToCS 2 for 4h yet... and so far it couldn't meet my expectations yet. You get thrown literally icecold in this game. There's not much introduction except for the short explanation of the controls and gameplay. There's absolute no reason to start to 2 if you haven't played 1 yet because 2's story directly continues where 1 ended. Some flashbacks of 1 are shown. Anyways the main issue I have with this game is that it gives you more freedom. Field studies aren't a thing anymore. The day organisation thingy like in the Persona games was one of the main reasons why I loved 1. But I've heared this mechanic was rather an exception in Falcom games. So I had a wrong imagination of the gameplay in 2. Another issue for me was the you have to come along with a very small party in early game, and the enemies are quite tough. I hope the game will become better now...
  17. Honestly I found ToCS 2's earlygame quite rude with a small party for a long time. But I guess I've done the worst part. Going to find the other students one by another now.
  18. Flank attacks like in Project X Zone 2 would be a cool feature. After you moved and before you will act with your unit you have to choose the direction the unit's looking at... or if you can attack then from which side you want to attack the opponent. If you attack an opponent from: side: regular hit + critrate behind: +10 hit + 10 crit opposite: -10 hit + -10 crit
  19. Probably consumed by Twitter or other social medias, because "follower" is the most common term here.
  20. Wow, please stop with the anti-hype! I know already from a previous comment that you prefer 1, so it's ok. The fixed day organisation in form of the tasks in the field studies was one of the main things I loved about 1 because it reminds me a bit on Persona. It's a bit sad to read that you have more free room now. Also a bigger WTF-reaction than at the end of 1?
  21. Only have played for 2h yet. I know now why it's a sequel since there's not all that much introduction except for short gameplay explanation. However I have to admit this game doesn't knock my socks off... yet. You're thrown truly icecold in dungeons. Hopefully sth. similar like field studies will return. This was one of the main things I loved about 1.
  22. I never could play MM and I never will be lucky to play it unless IS decides to bring out a remake with MM so I'm watching this partly just of curiousity. As people already stated Marcia will appear if you cross a certain line in the game (chapter 7 has the same, so beware). Chapter 4 was the hardest map in HM for me, and I'm pretty sure it will be also the case in MM because you're open from two sides and you have to cover Soren and Rhys. Shinon can't counterattack while Ike is fragile (give him the angelic robe!!!). Only Titania and Gatrie can really handle the enemies well. Also the level jump of the enemies is noticable. They're level 9, about 3-4 levels higher than in HM. A higher difference in term of level than between NM and HM in FE10. I'd say the turning point of difficulty is after chapter 7 or 8 when you have access to shop and inventory and you can forge.
  23. Screw class VII uniform! The clothes of most units look just badass in ToCS II.
  24. TitS triology will get its playtime, sure... but there's a litte queue right now with ToCS II (doing it now), Persona 5 and later Echoes. I have to set preferences right now. Not easy to do it I have to say.
  25. Have ToCS 2 now finally despite burning 3h just because of the travel but I'm highly sure it was worth it. gamestart
