  1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZU2K9XueqcI I could add the entire soundtrack of DKC2, because this game has one of the best soundtracks in videogames. All games of Rareware (DK-series, Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day and Goldeneye 64) had an incredibly amazing soundtrack.
  2. Has a badge of the only female halberdier in Fire Emblem.
  3. When I read "Hurricane Ike", I was thinking for the first moment about a famous player named Ike from the NHL team Carolina Hurricanes. Though I remember vaguely the Hurricane Ike in Texas in 2008 . Never have noticed yet that happened in the same year, when FE10 was released in Europe.
  4. FE character names are mix of real names from different countries, historical names, mythological names. and fantasy names. Here a few examples: : Nephenee, L'Arachel (it doesn't exist as name probably, but "L'A" is definitely French Grammar) : Mia, Rolf : Gonzales, Pablo, Hector East European: Lucia, Marcia, Makalov Scandinavian: Nanna, Leif (European translation of Leaf), Vika Biblical: Cain, Abel, Noah, Lot I'm the very first thief in Fire Emblem.
  5. First of all I think the title of this thread is a little bit overrated. I think Awakening isn't hated by most people. There is just too much fan-hype about this game. It intodruced many people into the FE series for being one of the best 3DS games. However some FE veterans like me could be disappointed about some issues in this game: always defeat boss or rout missions. Only Tiki's paralogue was interesting ("pseudo-defense-mission"). FE10 showed us, how it has to be! boring story especially the part in Valm. The only emotional moment in this game was Mustafa's death. so many game mechanics of previous FE games are missing (no weapon weight, no ballistas, no anima long range magic, no canto, staffs like sleep...) unbalanced difficulties (the idea of luna skills in lunatic + is just bad) too much fanservice (the reason, I haven't played any DLCs) I also agree that Falcon Knights have to use swords like in other FE games to make better use of the weapon triangle.
  6. FE10 was my first FE game by accident. I didn't know anything about this game except for Ike's appearence. It was the first round based strategical game I played, so I was prepared for pain. In chapter 3 I had the first Game Over already, because Laura yet. I was considering to stop this playthrough, because this game was too hard me. Though then I took the time to watch all the tutorials. Anna did an amazing job and explained me all the important game mechanics. So I could deal with this game much better. Though I still did many huge mistakes. In part two I forgot to recruit Haar and Calill (forgot to check out the info conversation in 3-F). Marcia died in 2-3. So I didn't have enough good units to survive 2-F. So I restart the entire game to this point once more :( And I did not see the point of blessing. I didn't know, how many attempts I needed to beat Deghinsea and Ashera. I always attacked them with the strongest weapon. Then I was confused, why they didn't took any damage. I blessed a random weapon. I believe at least four units died to Deghinsea, because Ire was activated.
  7. I see there are some Enex watchers :) Ashnard is the easiest final boss besides Idoun with wrath and resolve on Ike (one critical hit is enough), but this theme always makes me flesh crawl. It fits so perfectly while the fight against the "Mad King".

  9. I spent 60 € (75 $) for both, but they were absolute worth! Still have to complete Graces... I hope Xillia 2 will be reduced soon. 60 € is too much for me.
  10. Character deaths always belong to the most unpleasant moments in Fire Emblem. Though how to deal with them? Resetting or continuing, as if nothing happened. From my point of view I usually don't restart a chapter, because it's part of the challenge in Fire Emblem. If I did a mistake, I have to suffer the consequences. The exceptions are: if I need the unit later for an important recruitment or a special conversation if I couldn't prevent the death, because the RNG screwed me (f. e. I can't recruit a character in time) if I play on very high difficulties (FE6 HM or FE11and FE12 in H3 or higher), because I need as many good units as possible I'd even sacrifice an unit, if I have no other choice to prevent a death. If someone is in acute danger, I put a weaker unit in an attacking range of the enemy to "rescue" the better unit.
  11. Missiletainn (Had to research the English spelling)
