  1. This is pretty much the way I do. If Haar has maxed strength, skill and defense, I'll give him bexp., if he's close to a level up to max his HP and speed. The general problem is that his speed growth leaves much to be desired. Before the endgame he's mostly level 7-8 with a speed of 27, which is not enough in the endgame on HM for me. So I would have to invest in some bexp. levels at this point already and I haven't much of it. On lower difficulties, it wouldn't be a big deal.
  2. I don't want to talk much about managing bexp., because it doesn't have to do much with this topic. I wait for the endgame, because it's almost impossible to bring all units to max level in the endgame. My target is to max out many stats as possible with my endgame team. I only use bexp. earlier in the game, if an unit has at least 3 stats capped and >=90 exp. If an unit has capped all the important stats, I'll promote it as early as possible with the masterseal to save bexp. This stategy always worked for me very well I won't change it in the future. Ok, accepted. However I only give Jill a seraph robe on HM and nothing else. On lower difficulties she doesn't need anything.
  3. Kurthnaga isn't really high level, if he joins in the endgame. He still can get 20 levels. He's playable in 3-12 and 3-13.
  4. Jill gets 49 HP after promotion to 3rd tier, Haar around 51 HP. The problem is that Haar doesn't cap HP and speed as early as Jill does, so I have to invest more bexp. in him, which is problematic on hard mode, because I haven't enough of that. I try to save as experience as possible till the endgame. Jill usually always caps everything at level 10 except for skill and defense. I have to give her only few or even no bexp. Saving bexp. on hard mode till the endgame. She usually is around level 15 at this point. I don't use a masterseal on her, if she hasn't maxed all the important stats (strength, skill, defense). I give her paragon so she can get many levels. It always worked for me.
  5. Nobody's talking about Kurthnaga?! He also becomes a King! Personally I love all of them. I love Naesala's character development. I love Tibarn's personality and his cool conversations. I love Caineghis' strength. He can do bossdamage to Deghinsea and destroy an aura easily alone. I love Kurthnaga because of his backstory and he's a dragon. And I love Nailah, because she's female and a wolve. In total I would vote for Tibarn, because he's so badass. That's true, but Naiah is very handy in 1-8 to save all the prisoners. She can clear the left side alone, while the other units can clear all together the right side. And in 1-F you can use her untransormed to decoy or glare the enemies so other people can finish them off.
  6. Changed back his signature to Tana and Marisa.
  7. I playthroughed FE9 and 10 in total more than 50 times with different challenges and I think I will do several playthroughs in the future, because these parts are way too good.
  8. Thanks for your help! I always did the mistake that I never thaught to bring Rafiel to the endgame for unknown reasons...
  9. You just have to form a "circle" around Tiki like "That Person's name" said. Place your units two spaces away around from Tiki, so no enemy can attack her. I believe you can bring 15 characters to this chapter, so you have 7 pair-ups and one unit is left (use the strongest one). Don't move your units during the entire chapter so that no enemy can attack her. If you blocked Tiki, the enemies will attack your units. This topic belongs to "Awakening".
  10. Only two things: 1. Weapon level system The weapon level system is consequent: Bronze: E Iron: D Steel: C Silver: B Brave: A However some weapons and especially staves and long range magic tomes should be added. I mentioned it in other threads already, so I don't go further in that. 2. The skill system I like it that a character can have up to 5 skills. However the skill system could be modified. Removable skills like shade, promoke, daunt, cancel or adept... should be added, which every unit can use independent of its class. (I don't know, if these skils exist somewhere in the DLCs - never played them - only know about the existance of paragon) "Pair up" is an interesting mechanic, but I prefer the classical mechanics like rescue, take and drop from previous FE parts.
  11. Helped me out. I already did it before in a different thread, but I just forgot how it worked...
  12. Should know that I like most flying units (pegasus knights and dracoknights).
