Yes! Funky Kong DK and every iteration of Link and Zelda, too! I do think it's a bit soon for a new Smash, but I wouldn't mind it. An HD port of Melee would be cool too. And a port of Soul Caliber II GCN too, please!

I am SO hyped for this console! New 3D Mario and Mario Kart (I'm betting it's a revamp of Mario Kart 8, but I'm hoping for Mario Kart 9!), Elder Scrolls, Splatoon, and of course, Zelda! This looks like it's going to be fun ,':)

On my Twitter account (that no one was paying attention to), I predicted that the console will be called the Nintendo Playhouse (off of Nintendo Treehouse) or Nintendo Vision. So let's see how close I am. Among games * That new Mario game * More footage from Breath of the Wild * Dragon Quest X or XI localised * New Smash Bros. * Pokemon MMORPG (which will never happen) The console * Full support of Wii and Wii U controllers and peripherals * Backwards compatibility with Wii U * Maybe a way to put 3/DS games on screen as well (similar to the Game Boy Player) * I just want it to look cool and be functional

Yeah, right here on page 24 of the August 2010 issue. Gives a run down of both Heroes of Light and Shadow and The Last Story. At that point, neither were given an English release date, with The Last Story barely having a Japanese release date set. While The Last Story did eventually release elsewhere in 2012 alongside Xenoblade Chronicles and Pandora's Tower, Fire Emblem: Heroes of Light and Shadow wasn't as lucky. I would've totally given my Kris a monocle, though.

You make a lot of topics Nintendo Power may have covered it, but that doesn't mean it was going to be released in America. They covered Genealogy, after all. Ziguldo or whatever. I believe it was decided against localizing it due to the poor sales of New Shadow Dragon as well as the Fire Emblem series in general.
