  1. you can quote more than one post at a time, and reply to them as such

    reply to 1

    reply to 2

if you didn't know, Hinabear, because I notice you double post your replies a lot...and generally, it's not a good thing to double post...there is also the handy edit function, which further prevents double posting...

this is not a personal attack, but double posting is frowned on, and there is usually no need to double post (unless you are trying to raise your post count), because should someone post something from the time that you started to post to the time that you post, and you wish to reply to that, you can "*edit*" your reply in...

so now you know for the future

Ahh yes I figured it out, thank you Aurion...Actually I am very busy with college right now, so I had no time to investigate the ins and outs of forums since I dont go on them much. I guess it was easier/faster for me to just hit the reply button and give a quick reply lol

Ooh, great job ^_^. I like your shading too, with the helmet, hair clothes and fur. Like others said, I also think the mouth could be moved down a little, or maybe it's just the position/shape of the nose that makes it look a little weird. Overall, I love the colours and the background choice!

I love your drawing of Claire too! What program do you use?

next you should draw Neph totally kicking someone's ass!

Hahaha I'm actually really bad at drawing more than one person, but I can do it if its in chibi form ;D

  2. Oh, I absolutely adore the way you colored her. What program did you use? :)

Maybe you could move her mouth down a little more, and add more to the part of the helmet where her hand is. Right now, her head looks kind of flat.

Thank you! I used Sakura Micron pens (with a nib width of 005) for her line art on regular A4 printer paper. I scanned it in at 300 dpi and CGed her on Photoshop CS 2. ;D And yes, I should move her mouth down a bit more...

  3. I never heard of Fire Emblem until I played Super Smash Bros. Melee and was introduced to Marth and Roy. That was my first encounter with anybody from that series, and it got me curious because I also love SRPGs and I wanted to know more about them. I never had the time to pick up any of the localized GBA versions and when I actually did from borrowing it from a friend, I didn't liked it at all. Now fast forward to this month, I am on vacation at my parent's. And I was shopping around at a GameStop near where they live, and I was lucky to find Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn used. I decided to purchase it because if I didn't liked it, I could return it back. And now I'm hooked.

    Now I love Fire Emblem and it's a really fun game, thank god I gave this series another chance. And it's so funny because my father also plays Fire Emblem with me and it's kinda cool to see him controlling my troops. Most funniest thing is when he calls about 80% of my male troops as girls such as Soren, Rafiel, Reyson, Zihark, Rhys, and... Oscar oddly enough. So it's always like, "Move that bird lady [Rafiel] next to that blue-haired girl [Zihark] and make her move another turn." ^^;;

hahaha that was hilarious...i like your father, though i wouldn't ever let my dad touch my characters, he would most likely kill 8 of them in one go O.O

  4. omg Okami is comming to the Wii???

    *spams the internet*

You can use the remote as a celestial brush...awsome!

I can't wait...it's one of my favorite games of all time. Its also a good thing that its retelling the story, not a continuation.

    Ahhhh....can't wait!!!

  5. Jeigan was a charater you get in the first FE i think that came with uber high stats and was promoted, while the rest of your characters were just beginners. If you used the "Jeigan" too much, he/she would one-hit kill everyting, but would also steal all your exp from the other characters. I think Sothe was the "Jeigan" in Radiant Dawn cause he came promoted, but wasnt much of a threat in any case, if you did use him in tight situations. If you ever play FE9, Path of Radiance, which I suggest you do, its a great game!, Titania was the Jeigan and you really shouldn't use her until all your other characters get near level 21. Just a word of advice though...I suggest you dont level all the characters you get up equally the next time you play an FE game. By doing that you are wasting exp that you could possibly give to the other characters you will be using in the final chapters. So by now, you should be only putting those you want to take into the final battle in to the rest of the maps. This is to prevent spreading out the exp too much. You dont want to make all your characters ok, rather than making an awsome few. This will make the ending battles much less stressful for you. I hope this helps and sorry if I got the whole Jeigan thing wrong since I never played the first FE. ;D

  6. Fire Emblem is a great series, but they should incorporate some Final Fantasy Tactics styles to it too (I'm a huge Final Fantasy Fan) Like, for instance, Mustadio uses a gun and its similar to a Ballistae in FE, but mobile. Mustadio couldn't attack anybody too close, but he was great for immobilizing and petrifying far enemies. Did we ever get to use venin axes? I don't remember... There were also special attacks unique to certain chracters that can hit multiple enemies. Final Fantasy loves those special attacks stuff but I dont think FE should have that.

  7. i dont think u can transfer skills... can you?

You can't transfer skills in FE9, but in FE10 you can...which is awsome ;) Haar didn't come with savior, which is just wrong, so wrong. But Fiona did (worthless) So I re-assigned the skill to Jill by removing it from Fiona and assigning it to Jill. Then I recurited Jill with Haar in 3-7 and at base, I reassigned to to Haar...now my Haar is complete...he maxed 4 stats including Str and Def...he's a beast! <3

  8. Mist isn't that useful anyway, since she's nothing more than a weakened Elincia whose horse has not yet drunk Red Bull.

Yes, I plan on using Elincia due to her movement, and hit and run. But she isnt available in part 3 and I'd rather use Mist than Rhys for the time being. Isn't Mist the next best healer? Or am I mistaken?

  9. I never really know how to level up my priests and clerics properly...I just usually just let them do the healing whenever they need to and they level up whenever they do. But in Radiant Dawn, there is a base conversation in part 3-endgame between Boyd and Mist when their support level is A. So what I have been doing with Mist the past couple of chapters (I'm in part 3 - chapter 4 now) is situating her next to Boyd so that their support level increases. They are now at support level B. But by doing that, Mist is rarely getting any exp (she is at a terrible level 3 but is performing fine)...and I know she is involved with the

fight against the Black Knight in Part 4

so I need her to be a Valkyrie before then.

So here's my question...should I use bonus exp to get her to level 10 and use the only master crown I have at the moment on her, or do I have enough time to wait it out and just let her get the experience on the battle field?

    Thanks for the suggestions!
