  1. For those of you who have beat Fire Emblem Fates and don't have much left to do in the game, much like myself, I have created a list of challenging My Castles to battle. It is always fun to test your team against a opponent who has put a lot of thought in creating there team/castle map. I recommend you battle at their castle for a extra level of toughest if you are into challenging battles. Please feel free to add/comment on any castles that you thought were challenging.

    Castle List:

    Ft. Raikuno

    13990-24660

    17481-52989

    Twilight

    Ft. Brian

I've blown all my orbs on this banner and also blew $60 dollars. In a way, I've gotten "lucky" from this banner and got a 5* Effie, 5* Nowi and 5* Maria (no blue orbs on that summon session) all for free (prior to the money spent) and all of them are solid units, however... I just want Ninian!

My mate done one summon on this banner and got Ninian on his first one and he didn't even want her! Ahh!!

I feel you, one of my friends got her on her second pull and didn't even know who she was.

I'll add a third in that case as I also doubt many of the Dragons in the series are a "pure blooded" as the God class Dragons such as Naga... ;| Unless the first Dragons were parthenogenetic seeing as they seem to all come out of nowhere earlier in a given worlds history...

I'll add a fourth since I agree it's hard to tell if any dragon is "pure blooded." I mean according to Kana's ending people believe him to be a dragon god, so it's hard to say if a dragon is actually "pure blooded."

    Kana - Dragon Spawn

Generations on, people would call him the dragon god incarnate and tell stories of how the divine Kana would transform into a dragon to save people. But really he was just a boy who loved his mother.

  4. My favorite final boss battle has to be Ashera, reason being the fight was the most epic. Your team vs the boss no soldiers or monsters, just having to destroy her aura and survive her powerful attacks. Also her having the power to revive herself if defeated the wrong way, which I have done on my first play through. I can't think of another battle more epic.

I would have voted for one of the Tellius dragons, but I never really used them in the game. Whoops! But I really like their characters a lot. Nasir and Kurth are both really compelling. However...Ena isn't quite as interesting, especially in RD. But I like the role she plays in PoR. I ended up going with Nowi simply because I think out of all of the games, I used her the most.

Ena was quite interesting in Path of Radiance.

Yeah, I like Kurthnaga as a character, but as a unit, he's very meh. Which is a shame, because the guy destroys an entire tower in the scene before you get him...let's just say, I was far more hyped than the game was about to fulfill. Lol.

Laguz in general in RD were...subpar, though, other than the royals and possibly Ranulf. They were much more useful in POR, unfortunately.

I agree. The laguz in general were a cool adaptation of the Manaketes from the other games. Rajaion was sort of...wasted as a character though. I understand why, and that all of his stuff happened offscreen before POR started, but I wish we had gotten more time with the guy other than his ending scene with Ena.

The playable dragons in the Tellius Series is a lot less useful compared to those in other games, though fighting against them is a different story Dheginsea was a tough battle. Almost impossible on hard without losing a unit.

Tiki for sure. I always was a bit fond of the "all grown up" trope when it came to kids to adults, and I like the backstory, serenity, and exotic aura she exhibits. (And no, I do not care about her breasts. >3> )

Why do you not want to put in half-dragons so much? I do not understand this at all; they're dragons regardless, part-blooded or not. Just input characters that, no matter what, have the ability to turn into dragons; you can avoid putting in Morgan and the rest of the kids potentially birthed by Corrin, as well as anyone who doesn't transform.

I'm confused so you don't want them to include Morgan and Kana, but you want them to include Corrin and Nah?

Imo it is kind of lame how most of the playable, transforming Manaketes in the series are little girls...

I wanted a male Manakete that could transform and that wasn't elderly for the longest time... Kurthnaga and the Tellius dragons just didn't do it for me, as far as that went.

Corrin...sort of satisfied it...sort of. But not quite, considering their dragon form was nerfed pretty heavily on purpose.

I agree Corrin's dragon form isn't anything like the traditional Fire Emblem dragons so it really doesn't do it for me. I actually like Kurthnaga if it wasn't for the fact you get him so late in the game and there being so many better laguz units.

  9. There are some interesting theories in here. Personally, I think the story is just full of holes but it's fun imagining these holes can be stitched together to form a coherent story.

Who's to say he wouldn't? All we know about Garon is that he wasn't as much of insane despot before. No one said he was nice to people besides his children, and if Camilla's depiction of the Waifu Wars is correct, he encouraged all that bloodshed.

Hoshido and Nohr seem to have a long history of conflict so it's reasonable to think that human Garon would also have reason to invade Hoshido.

Bolded: Why doesn't Garon stick to the original plan of just killing Kamui? That seems a lot more direct than driving him to despair and then making him fall into the infinite chasm, again.

If Azura's words are precise and intentional, she said Garon is still alive, albeit with a completely warped soul and true form. This would be consistent with the fact that we don't seem his ghost in Revelation.

So here's a question directed the whole thread. Who exactly can Anankos resurrect? Anyone who has died? Only those he and his servants kill? Of the people he brings back as fully controlled servants we have Scarlet (killed by Anankos), Sumeragi (killed by Garon, possibly Gooron?), Mikoto (killed by possessed!Sumeragi), Arete (died from the curse) and Takumi (fell off great wall). Not all of his servants were directly killed by him so we can perhaps assume that he can bring anyone back. Also, does Anankos just control the bodies and brains of the people he brings back? On one hand, there is an afterlife where the true spirits of the dead reside (such as Takumi and Mikoto) but on the other hand, after the possessed Sumeragi, Arete and Mikoto are killed, they speak to the protagonists as though THOSE are the real spirits. I'm confused.

I haven't noticed it until you mentioned it, but it seems like Anankos can only bring back those he had a hand in killing. In the case of Takumi he was killed by Anankos because before he jump off Anankos's aura was showing meaning Anankos had a hand in his death. He played a role in the deaths of everyone he has resurrected or controlled.

  10. Anankos is weaker outside of Valla. Soleil even asks the same question that you did.

    [spoiler=Hidden Truths/Heirs of Fate]

He was also sealed away somehow, but it's only ever mentioned in Heirs of Fate. He's also only capable of possessing Takumi after he fell into the Bottomless Canyon.

But he still had access to his invisible soldiers, he only ever sends one outside of Valla. It would have been hard for Nohr or Hoshido to take on a army of them. In chapter 13 of Revelation one soldier alone was able to create mass panic, imagine a army.

  11. I might have missed this in the story, but if Anankos was so powerful why didn't he attack Nohr and Hoshido on his own instead of manipulating others to do it. In past Fire Emblem games villains manipulate others because they either didn't have access to there real body or it was sealed. Anankos on the other hand had all his powers he just choose to give a large portion of it to Garon, but if he were to have used his full power he could have destroyed both Kingdoms. Also his powers does seem to work outside of his kingdom, since he was able to give Garon power, possessed Takumi, and turn his soldiers invisible outside of his kingdom.

  12. I have a question about the plot line for King Garon. My question involves spoiling the ending to all three paths, so if you have not played all three paths please don't view the spoiler.

[spoiler=Plots of All Three Paths] My question is which form is King Garon's true form? In Birthright after you defeat him he turns into the Blight Dragon, in Conquest his form was revealed to be a slime monster after seating on the throne, and in Revelations he doesn't change forms at all. I have read many comments about him taking whatever form Anankos chooses, but if sitting on the Hoshido throne turns him into a slime monster. Doesn't that mean that is his true form, since the throne breaks any spell placed on who ever sits on it? Also if his true form is a slime monster, how did he manage to turn into a dragon in Birthright?
