  1. D has a blessing from Ashera, don't forget. Note how he mentions to Ike that their blessings are equal and opposite in the boss conversation.

Yeah, D has a blessing from Ashera. Ironically, Ashera's Judge is not blessed so it can't hurt D...

  2. Some of the hardest games are:

-F-Zero GX. Of course, I'm not talking about the Grand-Prix mode, but the story mode. I eventually beat all the chapters in Very Hard Mode (and thus unlocked all the AX characters), and THAT is an accomplishment I am very proud of. It was no walk through the park either, especially chapter 5 and 7.

-LoZ: Master Quest. This is actually tricky if you don't use a walkthrough (which I did in some occasions). Knowing all the patterns and clues in the original can actually hinder you in Master Quest, and there are some nifty tricks (e.g. the last part of the Spirit Barrier and the constant need to use the Song of Time to manipulate that time block).

  3. Platinum is MUCH better for these reasons:

-You get both Dialga and Palkia

-Elite Four grows stronger after the National Dex, thus it is easier to train your team

-Battle Frontier has more stuff, in addition to the already-existing Battle Tower

-Your rival gets stronger too (in my game, his starter is level 85), but you fight him at the Survival Area

...there are more, but I'd say Platinum is better because it basically has everything Diamond or Pearl has. Your friend was the victor it seems.

  4. If I have to make one team, then I would have:

    Umbreon

Mean Look, Baton Pass, Wish, Protect

    Gyarados

Dragon Dance, Waterfall, Earthquake, Stone Edge

    Gliscor

Baton Pass, Swords Dance, Rock Polish, Earthquake

    Vaporeon

Surf, Wish, Protect, Hidden Power (electric)

    Lucario

Swords Dance, ExtremeSpeed, Close Combat, Crunch

    Azelf

Nasty Plot, Psychic, Flamethrower, Hidden Power (fighting)

Not sure if that's the correct team, because I kinda forgot what I had exactly.

  5. If there's one protagonist that I hate the most, it's Emil Castagnier (sp?) from ToS:DotNW. He is an absolute pussy at the beginning, and I just wanted to rip my ears off. Thoguh he mans up a bit later on, his early pussiness has left a huge scar on the little respect that I had for him that will possibly never heal...thus I refuse to go on a second playthough in that game.

  6. I have been playing:

-Phoenix Wright series: I just beat case 1-5 and working on other games that I've already beat (for nostalgia's sake, plus I forgot several things from the games).

-YGO: Stardust Accelerator: Again, for nostalgia as I've been playing Yu-Gi-Oh! very actively during my childhood. The gameplay isn't too bad either, especially when you have access to wifi.

-Guitar Hero games (mostly World Tour): Meh, one of those games that you can't truly "beat". Plus, I like the songs in that game.

  7. Pokemon Silver version. Man, that game brings back soooo many memories. If anyone cares, then I'll explain:

My first Pokemon game I've ever played was the Yellow version, and I loved it very much. However, like almost all RPG games out there, I got bored of crushing the "last boss" (in this case, the Elite Four) millions of times with a party that only gets stronger and stronger. Not to mention, I had no link cables and thus cannot face other players. So I saved up my money (this is back when I was a kid), and after saving up, I bought a new version, which is Silver. I enjoyed it, blah blah blah, picked a Cyndaquil, owned things. Then I started to discover more interesting Pokemon. For example, when I encountered a Chinchou, I was like, "wth, a water/electric type?!" As I kept playing, I learned that I can trade shit from my Yellow version, not only that, but I got to travel to both Kanto and Johto! Also, you face Red, who is stronger than any of the Elite Four members from both games. Yeah, I loved the Yellow version and I thought that was the best game in the world, but the Silver version completely exceeded my expectations; it is al excellent game! Thus I was VERY disappointed with Pokemon Sapphire because despite the advanced technology, it is crap compared to Silver version.
