  1. Sorry if this is common knowledge but I had no idea it was a thing, and couldn't find it mentioned anywhere even after digging around various forums / websites (including the calculations page for FE5 here on serenes forest). I've been replaying FE5 again recently and got to the final chapter with a really annoying deployment order. After spending forever in preps, I decided the best odds I had was having Ced just dodge a 40% hit from Porcus/Zwolf, but to my surprise instead of attacking Ced he stole a 1 use warp staff I left on him just in case it came up, despite Ced having 36 speed with Forseti equipped. It's not a super important detail (I think this is the only way this can come up in the vanilla game?) but it seriously caught me off guard and I thought it was funny.

I suggest using a save state at the start of every turn, then a separate one as you chew through the enemies.  Your first order of business is recruiting Ilia's Finest.  I don't remember if FE6 allows you to rescue NPC units, but if so, get Treck out of danger ASAP and on your side (Shanna if she can safely get to him, Marcus otherwise).  From there, grab the Physic staff (two rows down from Treck's spawning point) and use it to keep Zealot alive until you can recruit him.  Get Noah as well, every warm body helps.

You can also swap out Lot with Dorothy.  She'll do a number on the wyverns.

Thanks for the help! I got lucky with Treck, he decided to run straight towards Roy to use a vulnerary, using using Dorothy helped a lot too.

  3.      I've started playing FE6 for the first time on hard mode recently, and for most of it so far it has been difficult but manageable (except chapter 4, chapter 4 sucked). However, right now I'm on chapter 7 and it's driving me insane. Trying to have all of my units survive the stupidly large amount of enemies is already bad enough, how on earth is Treck supposed to survive? I've probably spent like over 3 hours on this chapter and I can't even survive past turn 4 without somebody dying. There are just too many enemies for me to handle with my few competent combat units (my alan being rng screwed really isn't helping either). Do you have any tips on how to manage this chapter? Usually Marcus/Dieck/Rutger can take on most of the enemies for a while, but everything falls apart on the enemy phase when the first wyvern rider comes down and kills somebody (usually NPC Treck). Either that or one of the cavaliers rides in from the left and kills somebody fragile like Saul or Clarine.

  4. I've been playing RD for the first real time, and I preplanned my team. One of my units is going to be Tauroneo, as he, quite frankly, just seems to be the best general. High res means he can take hits from anything, and high magic basically makes him immortal with Imbue. He's also rather strong, which is a plus. Honestly, his main flaw is availability, but people seem to be a lot more harder on him than other units. I mean, he gets the exact same availabilty as Elincia, and the general opinion for her, availabiliy is a nitpick keeping her from being amazing. Quite honestly, even though I never used him in Part 1 because exp hog, he was a lifesaver in Part 3 (mainly due to my units DRASTICALLY dropping in levels from the DB. My disc was badly damaged and needed repairs, which might be the cause, but my ~level 2 swordsmaster edward dropped to a 13 myrmidon, with Aran dropping to a 14 soldier. Only Jill and Nolan managed to scrape mostly by). Quite honestly, I feel he needs more love, as he was amazing. (And I also kinda hated using Gatrie; he felt like he couldn't do anything useful ever.)
