Superluigi, are you going to put in FE8 classes (e.g. great knight) as enemy units and maybe even halberdiers like Arch has (or will be inserting in future versions at least) in Elibian Nights?

Yes it would be a good idea, every non mounted unit should get +1 movement upon promotion. Because of the large maps, maybe mages and priests should start with 6 movement(instead of 5) and promote to 7. Just a suggestion.

I'm pretty sure that it's bad business to put too many JRPGs on the market at once (and no matter how different they are, it's easy to classify both Golden Sun and Fire Emblem as JRPGs),
Err not exactly, while Golden Sun would be easily classifiable as a JRPG (I haven't played it though) Fire Emblem would be a bit more complicated. It's technically SRPG(strategy RPG) though it could be classified as a JRPG to a certain extent, I've seen it been referred to Genre-Wise from internet comments as Turn-Based Strategy, JRPG, and SRPG. I personally see the series as a Turn-Based Strategy series with RPG elements(you could see it as half and half, and it contains tropes from both genres), and it commonly is reffered to that as such. Overall it can appeal to both RPG and strategy fans. Sorry if this part is getting off topic from the thread.
Anyway, it probably has to do more with what Kiddo said.

This seems relevant: http://serenesforest.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=23334
So yeah I think we can expect it before or maybe around when the 3DS comes over in March.

A combination of good HP, Str, Spd, and Def/Res(or Both in some cases) is mainly what a character needs. Though speed would be the one stat to rule them all because of it allowing the character to double attack or avoid getting double attacked.
-
Just a few things I noticed, Damas(the first boss) has less speed than the generic fighters on the same chapter. Also, enemies don't have better stats on hard mode. Will this be adjusted by the final release?
-
In the rom disposition files for chapter 18, there's data for dracoknights with a code suggesting that they only appear on lunatic.
I'm wondering what's Frost doing in Gra when he's a bishop from Macedon?

On FE wikia's page about Eremiya "Originally she was the caretaker of an orphanage and witnessed the orphans die in the flames of war. During her most vulnerable moment, Gharnef put a spell on her to erase her memories and made her train new orphans into assassins." By 20x you'll most likely be able to confirm this. I did hear that Eremyia has a special conversation with Katarina if they fight(like all other boss battles, it only happens the first time).

The generic bandit boss on prologue 5 has a battle quote and a death quote. The Gra Captain in Shadow Dragon prologue 4 used a unique portrait yet didn't have any battle or death quote at all.
-
About Darros, he is the one who actually goes up to Marth in SD so he can join his side(though in NM Marth has to talk to him).
-
The Falcon Knight is shown in the opening class roll, I don't think this happened in Shadow Dragon. Probably because the Elysian whip can actually found on the ingame maps now.
-
I must be one of the few people who doesn't mind the DS animations, even though they could be better. Though, within the timeframe of development between Shadow Dragon and this game, couldn't the animations have been touched up a bit at least?

Linde: Oh, if only I could use swords like those Judgral mages...
Tauroneo, is it true that your moustache blocks attacks?

Male Mage because I don't like getting into the thick of it. I'm not physically strong/resilient in real life, (ha, I hate sports) I'm very short despite being 19, and nuking is fun.
By the way is it possible to reclass to My Unit to Dark Mage? I thought someone said you could.
You can if you choose MU's class from Male set B. Alternatively, beating hard mode or above allows males to reclass into any of the class A or class B sets, so on a 2nd playthrough you could switch from mage to dark mage if you wanted to.
-
On chapter 8, both the darksphere and Gradivus are indicated as droppable even though there's no way to damage Hardin at that point.
-
Weapon weight has been removed. I believe the maturity drop can be used at any time.
-
I noticed this too while playing. I don't think this was present in shadow dragon, was it?

Wait if Arran served a nation other then Altea, how come the villagers in book 1 say he was an accomplished general from Altea? When did he switch sides and what country was he from?
On his history of killing innocents in the past, I kinda had the idea that Arran did something bad in the past which he regretted.
I read the script on this site to clarify this:
In Shadow Dragon Arran mentions he was a captain to many knights, but eventually settled down in that Altean village.
There doesn't seem to be any mention of Arran being an Altean general, so that part must have been removed or just included in Book 1.
Also in regards to Barst's conversation, I'm surprised to hear he causes an awkward moment.

Superluigi, will you be replacing the palette swapped boss portraits?

In reference to the above post, will you be importing the FE6 world map themes. It would be kind of dissapointing if "Reclaim the Capital" didn't play during the chapter 9-16 map introductions.
