    Yes I did, sadly. TBH, I don't think the book's worth the price.

    If it had the stuff from the Series 2 DLC and more unique content (the concept art was nice though), I definitely would have picked it up.

    That and I'm not exactly rolling in cash either : P

    Speaking of Zelda with Fire Emblem gameplay, I've actually thought how it could all work out.

    There could be regular Link, using a sword and then when he gets the master sword, he could get a 2 ranged sword because he can shoot beams out of it (to stay true to the series, Link's gotta have full health). Zelda could be a mage/healer, there could be 4 swords Link but instead of giving swords, have them all Link's arsenal of weapons. Young Link could be tweaked to be a thief, Tetra can be a pirate, and you can use the Deku Scrub, the Goron, and the Zora from Majoras Mask.

    My imagination ran wild for a bit when I was waiting for Awakening...

    Done! I'm surprised that there were several people who had their unit marry Lissa.

    I was one of them.

    My avatar is named Harris, which is kind of like my name (Harry). Tried to make him look somewhat like me, he turned out basically looking almost like default tactician except with different hair style and color. Birthday is the same as mine.

    So how many of us are going crazy over the release fiasco involving Fire Emblem: Awakening?

    ....I'm here to join the waiting party. Sure seems like a swell time......

    I'm on my lunch break between classes and bemoaning the fact that I haven't received the call. Do you think I should still stop bay in the evening and see if it came in? I'm wondering if I might of actually given them my home number rather than my cell.....unsure.gif

    If it's Gamestop, I'd check if you have the opportunity. I never trust any of my Gamestops, dunno if its the same with you.

    I called Game Stop today.

    I checked the closest GS to me again for any updates.

    The guys there gave me a surprisingly-refreshing "I have not a bloody clue."

    They did mention a couple of things that could impact local release:

    1) Apparently, my neck of the woods is a bit of a black hole as far as shipping goes; there have been reports where express shipments were badly-delayed simply because they were lost in the shuffle at the area processing center.

    2) Mine was the only reservation for FE:A at that particular store. Assuming that demand priorities are indeed in place, I'm pretty much the ground rung on the totem pole in terms of shipments.

    With that in mind, a part of me would not be surprised if I couldn't get my game until after the 8th.

    On the bright side, my art book is ready and waiting. One of the clerks quickly winced at the sight of Nowi... :lol:

    Haha, I'm the same case. Except there were only 2 people who preordered it at my store.
