    I wasn't trying to say that it's wrong to like a character in part because they're attractive or anything like that, but I can see how I could have worded that better. What I meant is that it seems to me that while there are plenty of fans also appreciate a female character's personality and her looks there seem to be just as many, if not more, who really only care about looks and fanservice when picking favorites. Especially since some ladies with, er, controversial personalities like Camilla and Tharja are so popular. Not to hate on those two (I actually really like Camilla!) but while I know a lot of their fans can look past their troubling qualities and still like them for their personalities there's also a lot who just don't care.

    ....Does any of that make sense? I apologize, I'm not especially articulate.

    I voted for Leif yesterday, and the rest of my votes are going to Nanna, Finn,  Glade, Eirika, Hector, and Marth. Glade is hardly one of my favorite characters, but I still like him well enough and there's other characters more deserving of last place.

    And to throw my two cents into the apparent debate going on, I find the suggestion that any female character, whatever her personality is, is massively popular for good and pure reasons to be laughable at best.

    Just read your last liveblog! Can't wait for Vanguard Hinata!! I'm interested to see how your only DLC class will fare. (With or without Astra) But he will learn Aether instead!! Are you planning on having him use both?

    I've decided that I am going to put off recruiting him for a while so I can make him a Vanguard immediately. I might put him back in Swordmaster for a couple of levels later on so he can get Astra and Swordfaire, but that would use up two heart seals. We'll see.

    I ended up starting over on hard mode because I'm really bad at this game and couldn't even make it to the route split.

    Jumping straight from normal to lunatic was a terrible idea.

    I can feel secure in knowing that my pick only requires a master seal(you can heart seal for Astra and Swordfaire but is not necessary) and is also an actual unit. Hopefully it balances out... some of the trolling. Good luck, friendo

    Enjoy your 40% mag growth sage. (or 30%, I don't remember what his exact mag growth is)

    By the way, since you asked for it, here are Merchant!Orochi's awesome's growths :

    - 45% HP

    - 25% Strength

    - Useless 65% Magic

    - 60% Skill

    - Amazing 20% Speed

    - 50% Luck

    - 35% Defense

    - 50% Res

    So...

    Merchant!Orochi is an unit that tinks everything until you manage to get her weapon ranks from E to C for her to use the Shining Bow/Shockstick, that gets doubled and probably ORKO'd by any character too.

    Have fun training that. =)

    I'm pretty sure I can't even get the shining bow in Birthright unless it's from the battle/vistor rewards, so Bolt Naginata it is. I'll probably just dump an arms scroll on her. Or use her as pair up fodder.

    Oni Chief!Hinata

    Actually, this Thursday will come the new Vanguard DLC Class so...... Vanguard!Hinata!!

    (If you want Death Blow on him though visit my castle!)

    I'll probably wait until Hinata gets Astra to reclass him, so Vanguard should be out by then. I probably won't be buying skills on this run.

    Sniper!Kagero

    (Use her as a ninja until you get the A+ with Setsuna)

    Nobody's chosen Setsuna yet, so if nobody does I'd either have to use Setsuna as Kagero's pair up buddy, taking up a deployment spot, until they're at A suport or let Setsuna run through the exp dlc with Kagero at the back of a pair up.

    What do you guys think would be best?

    Perhaps Oboro as a Merchant?

    I've actually never used a Merchant before, so that should be interesting.

    Blacksmith Rinkah, but get Death Blow as well

    Yeah I was planning on getting her Death Blow if she was chosen.
