This is my first play though of scared stones and I am at chapter 3, and colm is not there. Do you have to wait a turn?

Whenever you get an S support between two people. The nice thing is that in this game, the children's levels (and the levels of the enemies in their chapter) scale depending on how far you are into the game.
so you can do this right after chapter 6

I don't know If this has been already said here, but I think it is the right topic to express my bewilderment, click the spoiler below to see what I'm talking about (it contains characters and children portraits but I think everybody here has seen this before, anyway I'll use spoiler tag bc there's some "story info" at the end xD)
My conclusion:
So if you play as a male you are forced to marry a child or one of the only-suport-with-Mamui characters in order not to miss any child??? How could IS make that? I mean, what happens if I want to marry Effie, or what if I want to marry Orochi? I lose one Feof the childs!????? I'm freaking out tbh
So... I'm really scared about this, any thoughts?

I'm very happy that Fates has gay marriage options, and unlike several people I don't have much issue with Syalla or Zero being the options. I also think that their supports, for the most part, were handled well.
But despite that good will I'm still being shocked by just how badly Soleil is being handled.
Her schtick is that she really likes girls, and after reading some of her supports it becomes increasingly clear that it is not platonic. That isn't bad in itself, but the fact that she can romantically support with all of the male kids and male Kamui raises a few issues, since even those supports seem to revolve around her liking girls... somehow.
But her support path with male Kamui is the absolute worst thing. To summarise: Soleil has trouble talking to cute girls without fainting, so Kamui gives her some drug that makes her see all men in the army as girls and she falls in love with female him. I'm not even joking.
"Soleil: My reply is… of course it’s okay. There’s no other man that could make my heart tighten like this. I’ve loved you since the day I saw you as a girl."
At least from i know, Soliel is male, I was confused too. At least from i know,

I'm pretty sure that only generic units work, though they are not as generic once given names once captured, so sibling will die.

my first play-though will be with male Kaimui while my sister plays with female Kaimui. Though funnily enough I am going Nohr, and my sister is going Hoshido. Subsequent runs? I'm not sure the only time i played F robin was when i was finishing/playing for my sister's first file. But I might go female later.
Same with me and my brother.
Since my interior shipper wants to see how a KamuixAqua relationship might be (if possible) and a couple other pairings that I have in mind for the Hoshido route, chances are I will pick m!Kamui first. But if the game is released on two different versions overseas, and I get my hands in Nohr (which is the one I want to play first), I might pick f!Kamui.
