Welp, I just tried the VPN, and I got the English version. Okay, I just changed my phone's language, and I seem to be getting the Japanese version.

Hmm, I used a VPN to download Heroes, but I got the English version... Changing my phone's language seemed to do the trick.

The iOS version has been released as well.

It's past 1 pm Tokyo time now... Now that I think about it, wasn't the last Smash patch released in the afternoon of JP time as well? The second picture in this Tweet is speculated release times. The results of the Choose your Heroes poll will be announced at 3 pm Tokyo, and at 5 pm Tokyo it will be 2/2 in every part of the world. 10 pm is when Super Mario Run is launching, so it's also possible that Heroes will launch with SMR.

I'd like to mention two things: 1) Some games have settings that make your tutorial roll (if they have them) a set rarity (Puzzles & Dragons does this, iirc) 2) Some games actually prevent such resets by linking your account with your phone number or SIM card, and checks every time you install. This, imo, is very likely to happen, as Nintendo generally likes to plug loopholes, and they can do stuff like linking Heroes to your Nintendo account. If they do so, I suppose you could make dummy Nintendo accounts if you really want to, but that could mean you lose out on benefits to/from your main Nintendo account.

There's a bot on Twitter that checks every 15 minutes to see if Heroes has been released yet: It's 10 am in Japan now, but still no Heroes. Since they post a pic, I'm thinking it shouldn't be too hard to tell if they're saying the game is released even if you can't read Japanese, so I suppose it's worth following.

I've used a VPN to get to the Japanese Google Play Store, and the first time I went there Heroes was in Japanese. I checked again earlier today with the VPN, and this time Heroes showed up in English. Not sure why, could be because I pre-registered then switch back to a non-Japanese Play Store? Anyways, just a heads up to people who want to use this method.

I can't think of any way to make this happen without mods. Swimsuits do not override normal clothing; they instead replace the underwear models, which only appear in the first place if you attack with the weapons that strip, have Sophie attack, or actually take an insane amount of damage through normal means. Underwear is indestructible.

How about this: stick with the alternate universe Gundams (Orphans, 00, G, etc.) for now, and hold off on Universal Century for now. Right now, the Origin movie series is still ongoing; the final episode of the Casval/prelude arc will be released in 2018, just in time for 2019, which is Gundam's 40th anniversary. From the timing, recent trend of quality UC content, and the fact that Origin will end right where the original Gundam series (0079) begins, it's very likely that 0079 will be remade. What better time to get into UC?

Eh, doesn't look like that to me. We'll never know for sure though, unless the artist actually lurks Serenes. Or if you can touch 2D objects lol.

Tried poking around niconico, and I couldn't find any new videos for Heroes there, so I can't really check for more Japanese VAs. Hold up, Virion's voice actor changed? Taylor Henry is clearly an alias, but is used by a different guy (Jamieson Price), and not his Awakening VA.

The one thing I didn't want... Stamina. I guess there's no mobile game that won't force you to wait, one way or another. I have played some mobile games that have the Stamina function, but actually drown you in refill items though. Hopefully we'll get some of that.

Since they're saying 2/2 on the English site, I imagine they would delay the international version. If so, by the time the English version is out, the .apk for Japanese Heroes would probably be available somewhere on the Internet as well. So Android users and Jailbreak iOS users could take their pick I guess.

Well, considering how he already does four characters, I'd rather have someone else to be honest.

Probably late March if they plan on delaying the Gaiden characters, since Echoes comes out April 20th in Japan.
