Welp, beat me to it. It'd be a pain to go over everything since the Trailer got revealed here already, so here's an official breakdown of his playstyle if you're all interested.
He appears to be a stance character now, with the mask affecting his playstyle instead of just being a piece you could knock off that affected very little like in SFIV. They're making his appearance play more heavily into his fighting style but he remains largely the same with his mask on. His V-Trigger allows him to do combos via a rose throw like Dudley's Taunt in previous games.
Might be good to update the first post with some of this info or have some sort of master post at some point with all this info. It's quite a lot to dig through XD

So we will be switching beside Claw/Fist. That sounds tricky.
His V-Trigger looks more like a Combo Finisher to me but we will see about it during the Gamescom.

You'll meet plenty of others here who started on Awakening (including myself). I used to own Shadow Dragon actually, but I got rid of it at some point because I had no idea what I was doing. I regret it now as the game is incredibly hard to find anywhere, at least at a decent price.
Actually, I'm pretty sure you can get Shadow Dragon (FE11) by using the virtual console on the Wii U.
Don't know the price but if you have a Wii U that may be worth if you want to play it.

Considering we now have 2 Awakening characters, I would prefer if we got something different as a playable character.
For one, since everyone's crying about too many sword users, that can leave out our sword weilding characters to represent.
Another thing is, aside from Robin, every FE character is a Lord. This leaves out Hector and Ephraim.
You know what we do need though? A Villain.
I think you guys know where I'm going with this:
Come on guys, let's do this.

Hardin? I would prefer a recent vilain such as Validar (even if he lacks of... well... vilainy) or Walhart.
Or the infamous Zelgius/Black Knight.
Or why not having Zephiel since Roy made a come back?

If you have trouble with that because you don't know they can be recruited, here's a tip:
Check the name of every enemy on the board before starting the battle. If you find one with an actual name that is not a boss/commander, they can probably be recruited.
Ahaha, thanks for the advice but I know that since my first FE (FE7).
The point is : I killed those characters precisely because they are recruitable!
And that's why it is a bad habit.
I feel somewhat ashamed right now...
