Kaden wins easily in my opinion. Keaton in my playthrough didn't really help me that much, but he was alright. My Kaden would get critical hits most of the time and is a great father for Shigure, who also provided help for me in Birthright. Plus, Kaden's daughter is adorable and my favorite female child unit. I like Keaton's voice (since it's Gaius pretty much) and his design, but Kaden wins my heart.

That I can agree with you. For Ignatius, I accidentally got him killed (Benny wasn't leveled up well but had a good skill to inherit.) Ignatius said he wants to join but didn't. XD Thankfully I didn't save but I had to do Xander's son's paralogue again, but I digress.Soleil and Ignatius are somewhat broken: if you beat the chapter without talking to them, you get the "let me join the army!" talk after the battle, but they still won't join. It's awful.
Edit: typing on my phone is annoying sometimes :P

Keep him alive once you get him (including Chapter 6 on any version), don't let your 'overprotective' big bro get killed (as you are going to do classic). Ryoma...your sacrifice made me feel like a horrible sibling, then again I really am a horrible sibling in Birthright and Conquest...
I'm on Chapter 7 right now (I'm doing Revelations before doing Birthright again), but as long as I don't over think, Ryoma will survive. :D

Playing through Conquest after Birthright made me feel bad for the Hoshidan siblings. Even though Takumi's an emotional roller coaster in Nohr's path, Ryoma's sepukku made me weep. Marrying him in my Hard/Classic playthrough will ease my heart though.

This. I paired them up and giving Shigure Even Better made him more reliable for my playthrough. Selkie was so much fun to use and her supports with Azura are adorable. :)Touch Fluffy Tail is the only option.

Congrats on getting them! It is a pain to get the Sepcial Edition at a much higher price, but it's better than not getting it at all. :)
Although, how come you bought the 3DS on EBay for that price? I believe there were copies you could buy at GameStop or Amazon at around $200. Regardless, it's your money so you do whatever you want with it. XD Congrats again!

So the UPS truck came when my dad and I got back from town, and I was really excited because I finally waited for so long!
...the package was my mom's medicine. Funnily enough, there was another UPS coming through my neighborhood, I was looking forward to my game!
...it passed my house. I swear to Naga if I don't get it, I'm gonna be so sad. :(

I would do what I did and call Best Buy about the shipping. If they say that they'll refund your shipping money, then that's great! What I'm doing is that since my SE copy is scheduled to be here tomorrow, I will call Best Buy to let them know it shipped on the same day as release date. Even if my copy doesn't get here on Friday (which it should), I'll still get a refund on the shipping. Like I said on my previous post, if you preorder in general, don't mess with the shipping speed, because the nice lady told me that preordering is scheduled to be at your doorstep on release day.

I have too. I bought a 6 month pass for Just Dance All Access and I stopped playing that game in the second month. At least when I'll trade it in for Xbox membership, it's worth the trade.Eh. Yeah, it would suck if all the panic were for nothing. Still, I've wasted money on dumber things in my life, so we'll see.

As for me, I was panicking seeing how everyone at Best Buy is getting their orders shipped today, while mine still says processing. So my dad and I called Best Buy and apparently the system is glitched, but other than that, my order should come in by tomorrow at least before 5 pm in my time zone, and the lady was so kind with the information and will refund my shipping money ($15).
If anyone has done the express or expedite shipping, don't do it if it's a preorder. That's my lesson learned from today. XD

Am I the only that's okay with Dwyer's voice? Sure it sounds like he's stoned, but I think it adds his lazy personality. Personally though, I wouldn't marry someone who sounds like that though. Then again, he'll be my son in my first playthrough. XD
Ryoma's lines are love and life. Leo's is also wonderful. I'm saving Jakob and Kaze's for last though.

Everyone that's been doing expedited shipping, Best Buy has now added the Express shipping, which will release on the 19th. It is a whopping $15 for that, but if you really want it by tomorrow, hurry up and change your shipping speed!

I sent an email about the expected release date and I'm still waiting for a reply. I hate having to pay $12 for shipping, but for the Special Edition, it's worth every penny. At least my paycheck for this month will be worth more than last month's.

First off, I want to thank you Rena for liking my tweet from liking your interview in Super Geeked Up's video. You don't deserve the toxic feedback the haters are giving you. I was nervous when the E3 trailer was uploaded on YouTube, and when I heard your voice, I was impressed! Months later when the Corrin DLC came out in Super Smash Bros., I finally got to hear your voice in LITAA, and I almost cried because of how beautiful your voice was in the song. Your Nohr version was also spectacular, while Hoshido's was graceful!
Because of your angelic voice, I have faith in the localization of Fates. Thank you so very much for lending your voice and providing Azura's character so perfectly. ^_^

Unfortunately yeah. If nothing changes tomorrow, I'm definitely calling Customer Service. This is my first time preordering from Best Buy and my first collector's edition of a game.Wait, really? Yours says that? Mine updated quite some time ago to 2/19/2016. Still, I'm a little unsettled that it doesn't display expected arrival date. I chose the "get it on release day" option for shipping, but it still makes me nervous.

Same thing for me. Mine still says the expected release date is 12/31/2016. They really need to fix this by tomorrow since I'm paying expedited shipping.Amazon's reported that it's shipped? Best buy hasn't said anything...... :(

I personally like the Nohr siblings more, but I'm with Hoshido. While I may be a person who would choose bond over blood, the thought of being secluded for most of my life is horrible. While the adopted siblings do care about you, when you find out that your life was kind of a lie, why would you go back to Nohr?
Plus, when Chapter 5 happened, I would react the same way if I lost my mother. I'd avenge her and stop Garon, who is just a jerk and reminds me of a controlling ex-friend I had. Also, Lobster Lord ftw.

Will take note of this. Thank you for the advice!You could adjust the levels to the growths, like, if you need more speed, change to Samurai right at level 10, but if you need higher defense or strength, stay as a Nohr Princess longer.

That will be useful when I do a Hard/Classic run in a second playthrough on Birthright. :)In order to get all the skills she want, she'd need three heart seals and the greatlord seal (whetever its name is). I'd do it like this:
Nohr Princess (to level 10 at least)-> Samurai (with at least two level ups)-> Greatlord (instead of promoting until level 35, equivalent to 20/15)-> Swordmaster (to get the skills, lvl to 20/17)-> Hoshido Noble (Final class)

I'm having Samurai as my secondary class, and since I'm also marrying Jakob, I recommend +Strength/-Magic. I got this advice from a forum I started today and the only problem you'll have is the speed, but it'll be worth it for Dwyre and Kana. Hope this helps!I'm thinking of going Ninja or Samurai for Birthright's Corrin (Chisuzu) and I'm still working out what class I want for Nohr. Also planning to marry Jakob my first go around if that means anything. I'm still stuck on my asset / flaw, though. Thoughts?

Will take note of that! I'd figure that giving Dwyer Hoshido and Luna by inheriting the skills would be faster so I could promote him into a Paladin. I'll just have to see and wait. :P

You do realize that Kaze's death was avoidable, right? It wasn't that difficult to get an A-rank with him. Hell, he has one of the fastest supports other than the royal siblings and retainers (hence why Kaze's considered the Avatar's retainer).
At least Rhajat didn't do awful experiments on her child, if she's married to male Corrin. Rhajat's actually better in terms of characteristics than Tharja.
