I've been lurking around and out of some excitement and boredom I went and made some rough drafts of some!

I was the most happiest wanderer in the game, then they had to go and Micaiah's Pyre me. :(

In non-RPGs, Metroid Prime's Hive Boss- little platform surrounded in poisonous water that slows you down with ramhappy hornets, you have your blaster and that's it.

Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne: Hell Rider- In a game where covering your weaknesses in important, the only attacks that are dangerous is his Fire and Wind attacks, guess what the fire-blocking or the wind-blocking magatamas are weak to? -

Dhoulmagus, from Dragon Quest VIII.
He's the first real climax and boy is he a doozy. He can act twice in one turn, has all-party attacks and spells, and is the first boss that begans the every so enfuriating "Wave of Ice" attack, say good-bye to all your buffs and tension! AND HE HAS A SECOND FORM. It's basically boils down to "Did you cheese the casino" or "Has Angelo learned Multiheal yet?" -
It's a great game, no doubt, but DeSu2 does kind of attempt to blend the narrative style of the first game with a more Persona 3/4-esque one, so make of that what you will.
And I wish the character designer knew how to draw with something other than his dick (that's not how breasts work). His DeSu1 work certainly had some oddities, but nothing that egregious.
Actually both games have different artists, DeSu1 has Suzuhito Yasuda (Yozukura Quartet, Durarara!) DeSu2 has Mohiro Kitoh (Narutaru, Bokurano, Neon Genesis Evangelion)
Didn't it go out of its way to be super depressing?
I haven't played DeSu 2 yet, but I heard the anime is super unfaithful in loads of aspects.
Supposedly, it's based on a Manga that came out, it's alright I recommend watching it if not for the aspects it brings, but really the game is way better experienced.

That was an interesting read! I agree with you on the contrivances in the Birthright path, even Awakening had that line about Chrom's father being a warhound over Plegia compared to Garon's grrr get Hoshido.
I look forward to your other overviews.
