  1. Haven't played FE 1-5 yet

    FE6 (Binding Blade):

+ Some really unique maps, Great story, Some really interesting characters, and challenging in a good way (sorry that's more than one)

    - Too many Brigands in the first 10 or 11 chapters

    FE7 (Blazing Sword):

+ Cool concept of 3 lords

    - Lyn's chapters are so damn boring and such a grind with the rainy chapters and crap

    FE8 (Sacred Stones)

+ It's been said already in here, the branching promotions give some re-playable value,

    - Too Easy even on hard mode

    Haven't played FE9/FE10 much,

    FE11 (Shadow Dragon)

+ Seeing Marth's character growth was great

    - Maps were so repetitive and simplistic, most of the outside maps looked the same with tiny changes and the inside castle maps were very simple, some of them were so easy that the boss would literally be right in front of you (Chapter 17)

Haven't played FE12 yet, just finished Shadow Dragon after it was collecting dust in my Nintendo DS for the last 4 or 5 years so I'll be moving on to that soon

    FE13 (Awakening)

    + Kids I guess?
    - I can only pick one thing I didn't like? How about the whole game?

    I really hated Awakening, sorry.

  2. Favorites

    Non Promoted:

    - Thief (I love their high dodge, fighting animations are usually well designed and their characters are usually good (Colm, Cath, etc)

    - Mage (Basically just because I know sooner or later they will end up being a Sage and sages are fucking amazing)

    - Cavalier (Pretty basic and they aren't exactly the strongest characters but they bring versatility early in the game as they are able to use swords and lances with high movement)

    Promoted:

    - Assassins/Rogues (same as Thief basically but with added strength and a ton of criticals)

    - Sage (amazingly versatile and probably the strongest overall class in Fire Emblem, they can be your strongest damage dealer with the added bonus of being an off healer)

    - Berserker (far and away my favorite class in Fire Emblem, they have insane enough stats, pair them with a good support that improves critical or hit chance and you will never lose a fight)

    - Falcon Knight (I'm a sucker for well-made female characters on a Pegasus, and once you go through the tough grind of leveling them as a Pegasus Knight where any shot of a bow kills you, axes kill you and you do very low damage, it's so rewarding to finally get to level 20 and promote them into a Falcon Knight where they become extremely fast, more versatile with weapons and even have solid strength if you give them an Energy Ring or two, as long as you avoid bows you can basically kill anyone granted you have the right weapons)

I don't particularly dislike any class, but the characters of Knights/Generals are usually pretty damn dull (I'm looking at you Gilliam)

I don't really like Archers either, immobile units that can't fight in melee range is usually a recipe for disaster

  3. It probably happens due to the fact that the event forces a promotion, which cannot trigger as your Roy already is promoted.

I'd suggest forcing Roy in a class that can promote through cheats (a Brigand, for example, so that you still get a Berserker)

Any chance you can show me how to get that cheat? I've never used cheats for Fire Emblem before, not sure which one to look for

  4. Try the suggestion in the spoiler of this post (look for the wyvern in the middle of the ocean).

Shit, I don't have any fliers. Well, I do, but it's a level 1 Wendy, lol, she'd get one shot by the ballista

Maybe I can quickly pick someone up with her and drop them on the land with the reinforcement fort?

I don't understand why having a Wyvern in the water stops it, does it have to be in the Ballista's range? I see water space that is out of the Ballista's range

Thanks for the help though, I'll try it I guess

EDIT: Oh, the Wyvern has to stand on the fort, shit... Maybe I can fly someone there before I get shot? I don't care if my wyvern dies as I finish the drop-off

  5. I actually heard about this a while ago where this could happen, but unfortunately forgot about it. Basically, as soon as Geese's cutscene starts on turn 5 it just freezes (maybe stalls is the right word) and it just stays there, nothing happening, just hear the repeated music and the enemy sprites moving.

I tried restarting it and spam clicking skip to see if I could just bypass the Geese part but that didn't work either.

This would really suck, I love my mix of randomized characters (Roy is a cool looking Pirate and has had amazing growths, and my Bors is a Mercenary and he's kicking ass, not to mention my Lilina is basically a sniper on a horse, she's a nomad and is one shotting everything with her great strength growth

Anyone else encounter this? I watched a playthrough of a youtuber named Mangs and he said that a viewer warned him to not go to the A route, I guess this is why lol
