I think I got it. As I have a9lh installed, I already had everything I need lol. I'll use uncart to dump and decrypt9 for xorpad generationWell, if you don't already know how, then I can confidently say you won't be able to.
But if you look around..

The final release will patch Hoshido and Nohr as normal (refer to the structure of previous patches if there's an error).
For patching Invisible Kingdom, your only choice is taking those files and generating a custom .cia with it, then installing it onto a cfw that's not Gateway (ReiNAND is recommended) via FBI or BBM or some other cia installer.
So take all of the files in the final release and use them to make a cia file? Is there a tool I'm supposed to use to do that? Sorry if this sounds incredibly stupid

Thanks for everything you've accomplished. お疲れ様でした。 Now can someone tell me how to use the final release? For patching the Invisible Kingdom as well. 教えてください。

Jp version can't communicate with NA version. Unless you meant transferring the jp save to your na save. Which sounds like a lot of trouble.
Really? I didn't know that. A bit unfortunate but w.e I'm still glad I got the JP version

So if I pick male Kamui, I can't recruit Jakob/joker?I think FeMU makes the game slightly easier because of Jakob
- Gentilhomme features to be quite useful in using Effie as a tank, which can be stacked with Elise's pair-up, Bronze Naginata DEF boost, Defensive pair-up, etc.
- Better damage in the early game
- Perhaps slightly cheap, but Jakob can be profitably Heart Sealed into Paladin or Great Knight, while Felicia as a Hero or Bow Knight doesn't yield effective results immediately.

I have powersaves but I have JP special edition. Powersaves only put out one code for the JP version (99999 gold) so I'm gonna have to resort to hex editing the save

Female MU. The design's better (imo), the servant's better, and you can marry any first gen unit without having to worry about missing out on a child.
Who would I have to marry as male MU to miss out on a child?

For good pairing. I still haven't started my play through yet because I want to finish awakening first.

You can find the IDs for a bunch of stuff here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Bem9eu9IAEBm7d6PBZhtddDnDUnLpdoZ7ddenFSURmw/htmlview?pli=1
So the ID for Seraph Robe would be 012C (reversed 2C01).
Btw thank you KuroKairaku for the info. So basically you just dump the save, decompress, edit using a hex editor, recompress and then import the save again right? Don't need to change the checksum or anything?
I've only edited a save file once before and that was for golden sun, which required updating the checksum any time you changed values so that's why I ask

Please refrain from spreading misinformation. It is most certainly NOT "quite risky" to downgrade a new 3ds. I've done it twice, set up arm9loaderhax on both of them with zero issues. In fact, it can be argued that merely setting up emuNAND (not CFW btw, it's emuNAND) is a fairly large risk to newcomers to the 3ds scene, as you always need to make sure you're on emuNAND before doing a variety of things, one of which is updating, something which you must avoid doing on sysNAND at all costs or your 3DS is finished in terms of hacking unless you are capable of hard-modding (yes, this works because of a new method of downgrading that was discovered for even 11.0) or you have another hacked 3DS. emuNAND is also pretty inconvenient, with unreliable boot rates, requiring GBA VC games to be installed or injected twice to both sysNAND and emuNAND, wasting space on your SD card (redNAND is a little better, but not by too much), and having to go through homebrew launcher for everything instead of being able to instantly boot to tools that you may need using a boot manager with a9lh, built-in or otherwise.
