  1. Here's something evil I have been cooking up lately; a fan crossover of Fire Emblem and Megami Tensei (+ other JRPGs) game, that isn't TMS#FE.

    Project Name : Kasai Tensei : Cyber Margin

    Mixture Contents :
    -> Two gameplay styles : Field style (Fire Emblem) and Dungeon style (Jrpgs).
    -> The option to play each styles indivudually or together at the title screen, with three selectable difficulty settings : Chilled (easy), mellow (normal) and heated (hard).
    -> Two selectable sets of base stats & growth rates per character (One set done properly and one by D&D dice rolling style.)
    -> Each characters will have separate Field Skills and Dungeon Skills, including Class and Personal ones.
    -> Gameplay > storytelling.
    -> Linear Fire Emblem game design.

    Field Style Contents :
    -> Permadeath.
    -> Accuarcy : 1% to 99%.
    -> A weapon type triangle (sharp, pointy & blunt) and a magical square (fire, water, earth & wind).
    -> Field style performaces will be ranked.

    Dungeon Style Contents :
    ->Dead units will be returning (for mercy sake), but won't be available outside.
        -) A "stay dead" mode might be available after beating the game for the first time.
    -> A weapon type triangle (same as Field style) and an elemental octagon (the magical square and their "reaver" elements).
    -> Elemental affinities exploitation gameplay Involved, allies and enemies equally.
    -> Cannot level up or grind.
        -) Unless the player is playing the game's "dungeons only" mode.
        --) "Died at the battlefield" units might be able to gain some levels.

    And more...or less in the future.

    Goal : The goal of this experimatal project is to do like in Persona "Gen.2" games (aka P3, P4 & P5) and Suikoden III; having two sepearte gameplay styles in one game and making them compliment with each other. This game is also a prototype-like attempt to make a gameplay oriented crossover of Megaten and Fire Emblem franchises, with some elements from other games.

    So what do you guys think? Pretty insane, right? MUHAHAHAHA!

    NEW INFO EDIT (11 nov 2018) : Speaking of characters' levels. there is two things I need to address : One, the maximum will be Lv40 for this project (Lv20 max of both class tier). The other thing is ; if a unit is at between Lv21 and Lv40, he/she/it is a promoted tier 2 unit. Class promotion will be automatic after Lv20 and there will no promotion items. Well, maybe or maybe not.

  2. I'm working on something that I'm not sure if someone have tried to do it before. Something unique and different compared to other fan games and hacks. Something that is risky and perhaps unfeasible to make. And, I am looking forward to people's reactions when I'll finalize the reveal of my project. MUHAHAHAHAHA!

    Is that why Pegasus Knights always wear miniskirts?  The Pegasus has to be sure there isn't any unwelcome addition between the legs?

    Maybe. But now, when I think about it, maybe it is also because the positioning of the riders and also they attack their enemies.

    That last cutscene on today's video was a Dragonpapa reference, BTW- And a very neat one at that.

    Correction, it's Danganronpa. A.k.a. the Saw movie series + Battle Royale + Persona 3, 4 & 5 + Suda51 games (especially Twilight Syndrome) + Ace Attorney franchise.

    I am nerd and I know too much. XD

  5. Except for Corocoro Pokémon leaks, I hardly believe in this sort of things. However, if those are true; then it might become another potential franchise killer. Pissing on the Castlevania franchise, continuing of being influenced by SMT games and learning nothing from Fates. *shivers*

  6. Clarine vs Cecillia = Clarine. Useful and early, from beginning to the end.

    Lowen vs Sain = Sain. Gameplay-wise, they are equally useful. However, story-Wise, Sain is one of the best of Cavalier of the series.

    Moulder vs Natasha = Natasha. Joshua ; plain and simple. Although; L'Arachel is better than both of them.

    Artur vs Lute = Lute. Similar to Lowen vs Sain, both of them can be useful and powerful units, because the monster units. However, Lute is better than Artur, because she has a better selection of promotion classes and Anima magic is stronger than Light magic, despite of the Slayer skill. Also, screw Ewan.

    Post this in the correct subforum, apparently.  I'll move it to where it belongs.

    Whoops, my bad. XD

    Anyways, I thank you guys for the replies. They seems to confirm my suspicions about what were, generally, the hardest ones ; the games of the "Neo Marth Saga". And I thank you guys once again for doing so.

  8. This morning, I was watching Mangs' LP of Fire Emblem 11 (Shadow Dragon), on Merciless difficulty. Him and Mekkah mentioned, that what Mangs is doing right now, it is one of the hardest things to do in Fire Emblem games ever. I have some suspicions and I want to confirm them. So, here's my question ; what are the other hardest things to do in the franchise?

    Well with that attitude, you'll never complete anything great.

    Lol. Same post, different topic, eh? But, yeah, you're right, this time. I have tried to enter RFV or to be a beta tester, but I chickened out of guilt. Not proud of it, but I am learning from my misadventures.

    There's plenty of people who're total beginners entering. It's fine!
    There's folks in our discord who can help you learn how to hack if you hit any bumps, and the tutorials out there plus the new tools should make it plenty easy to learn. Just buckle down and try. That's what this contest is for!

    My apologies, but I'll pass. I don't want to repeat the same melodrama that I've caused in the RFV discord chat again.

  10. Couldn't do it before, but I gonna register myself to this year's contest. Even though, I never made a hack before, I suck at almost everything at life, including gaming, there's no way it will be a good one and I'm sure I have zero percent chance of winning. Still, I am pumped for this year contest and I look forward to the hacks of this year.

  11. In my opinion, Eirika should be recruiting most the units mentioned in the poll, since she is more charismatic than Ephraim. Also, the twins' father orders on Seth and Innes' distain for her brother. Save for Cormag; he would rather follow his brother's orders rather than betray him and join Eirika's side. And L'Arachel and Co., it doesn't really matter which twins should recruiting them; they'll join any of their's army anyway.
