Also, voting Florina, because I know how much work she put into that Lovecraft. :) That said, there are sooo many good entries. Seph's Refia and Ghostclown's dude are adorable, Maklo's has good armor, Astra and Amelia's are super clean, and Lumi's hair and costume design are lovely. Good job, folks!

Wow, Numbers! That is a serious level-up right there. Both the chibi half-body and the second version of that mug are wonderful. :)

So clean! <3 As for Varkade, it's good that he has his own face now! Though he does need more wrinkles/facial lines, assuming you're keeping him the same age as the previous portrait; he doesn't look older than 30 to me. That's because his face is still overwhelmingly smooth, despite the bag under one eye and the eyebrow creases (which need moved in towards each other a bit.) Luckily there are a lot of old dudes to ref, it shouldn't be too bad to fix. Seeing DoF mugs makes me so excited. Keep it up! :D

Haha, thanks! And true enough. :) Not to mention that this forced me to do trim, the most adjsfjjfjff thing in the universe. I guess the secret to spriting - if there is such a thing - is editing the fack out of something until you run out of spots that piss you off.

Poor thread, how I have neglected you! But don't worry. It's time for updates. So, other than Serenes Emblem stuff that I really don't want to show until the first release, here's what I've been working on. How to Grow a Peg Knight: -> -> -> Man, it started off laughably bad. I need to be more meticulous with my line art. It would probably save me a load of time. But at least I got something presentable out of it in time for the customing contest. I'll probably add in a breastplate or chest trim before I do the frames.

I agree that it should be added; if not now, then in future versions of the survey, should you pursue this topic any further. It will allow you to get more interesting data - imagine sorting the responses by gender identity or sexual orientation! You could also add items to ask about people's age or level of education, too. It's not strictly necessary, but may help you create a "profile" of who typically chooses to engage in playing as the opposite sex. Please tell us how your project works out, and the results you get. I am very interested to see.

Back in the day, I cosplayed as Miaka from Fushigi Yuugi (in priestess outfit) and Hawkeye from Full Metal Alchemist (in state alchemist uniform) for some cons. Haven't done anything since, though.

That's looking nice, Maklo! Though I do find that red trim to be a little odd. It seems like it should be gold, like all the other trim. It's totally your call, though.
