  1. I'd be genuinely surprised if it was anything other than a more long-winded/proper-sentency way of saying the exact same things as the provided translations.

    In both versions of the patch, it's weird glitchy text.

    I believe they did a mock up of what it would look like translated but it wasn't implemented into the patch yet.

    Kind of nice to see a more elaborate breakdown of what it is, though.

  2. So, I remember hearing that in book 1, the Aum staff is only usable in front of the altar of a building in the center of the map of chapter 19. Are there any requirements like that for the Aum staff in book 2? Would I be able to use it anywhere or would it not do nothing if I'm not on a specific tile? I didn't use it in book 1 since I had no casualties up until that point.

  3. Draug, Castor, Palla, and Catua, and possibly Est.

    You get a Knight's Crest in chapter 16, and Draug is level 8 going on 9, I just need to give him a speedring so he can double the Paladins, and kick him up two levels. Castor, on the other hand is level 6, and I have barely used him since Gordon promoted. As for the white wings, Sheeda got the Elysian Whip in chapter 15 since she's got some better stats outside of HP, but that's easily fixed with an Angelic Robe. I'm debating selling the Orion's Bolt that Castor has, but the next chapter is flying units for days, so I'm not sure.

Do you guys think that instead of turning into "Dark Emperor Marth", he decides to run off and live with Gotoh, thinking "to hell with responsibilities, Gotoh had the right idea last game" could happen? I mean yeah he'd basically be throwing his responsibilities away and being how the prior war caused a ton of damage, it probably wouldn't help. But on the other hand, Tiki could have a chance at Mar-Mar.

  5. I decided to visit this page for real to see all the changes it made and I found a few typos and glitches in the Book 1 opening and at the end of chapter 1.

    "Siser" instead of "Sister", minor typo.

    Started off with a little too much text and some blue popping outside of the frame, then THIS happens. Something to a similar effect happens in the chapter you recruit Bantu in, and it isn't translated either.

    And after all that happened, there's some Japanese characters on the upper part of the screen after the text is all garbled. There's probably more but I'll find more as I play through.

    The opening is also in weird, glitchy English, but it was like that in the old one and it would be great to understand it.

  6. The current patch doesn't work with ZSNES. I also would like to see a patch with American names.

    Also, can I get any help about the ZSNES issue? The patched ROM won't run, unless I'm using the wrong ROM. Any help?

    Try digging around for a 1.1 version of the rom. I haven't found any 1.0 roms that work with the 1.0 patch, but I found a 1.1 that does. It works on ZSNES last time I tried, too.

  7. Recently, I purchased Mystery of the Emblem and Genealogy of the Holy War from a convention last week. They both come with some really nice art and FE4 even includes a map of Jugdral. I'm fairly new to scanning, and I'm not exactly sure what I should keep an eye out for. I want to try and scan both instruction booklets in full, and want them to look presentable. Here's an example of something I scanned, a card included with Mystery including several of the characters you start with.

    The scanner I'm using is a Deskjet 2050, it's currently the only scanner I have access to.
