  1. Make hector a mage and make all his growths 25%, except skill at 110%.
Make Eliwood start with Durandal but it only has 5 uses before breaking.
For every three chapters the boss is a dragon.
    Final boss is Ninian.

    (Not really an edit.)

Try to defeat the final boss, ninian with Eliwood and his final Durandal use.

  2. 3D Zeldas - Mostly due to a combination of hype backlash and not liking the gameplay. Not saying they're bad but they just never caught my interest.

Final Fantasy (+ Most JRPGs) - Hype backlash, design of sprites for the older ones. You play as chibis but monsters and such are detailed sprites. As for JRPGs the story is usually what stops me from enjoying it.

Metroid Prime (1-2-3) - While I do like using the wii remote to aim, apparently I'm not a fan of backtracking in 3D. I enjoyed the GBA Castlevania games so backtracking(in a 2D space) isn't an issue.

Super Mario Galaxy - Launching from one part of a level to another felt too disconnected and made the game feel empty, which succeeds in recreating outer space.

Shovel Knight - At least Shovel Knight's gameplay. Plague Knight is great for me. Not to mention the levels just drag on.

They aren't necessarily going to stop releasing games for the 3DS anytime soon. While it is true that the 3DS family of systems is getting older, there is still much expansion that can happen using the additional power of the New 3DS and it would be a great platform to see more Echoes games on. Plus, a large amount of Fire Emblem fans already have a 3DS because of Awakening and Fates, so they could reach a lot of return customers that way. Nintendo has empathized time and time again that the Switch is not replacing the Wii U and 3DS, but simply adding another play option to a gamer's arsenal.

That said, I think they will keep developing games for the 3DS using the 3DS engine, while the upcoming game for the Switch will hopefully use better technology to take the series in a new direction.

While I do wish that the New 3DS would get some love, and sale price, they may just have to forsake it as to not alienate the rest of the 3DS userbase.

However if they do still use the 3DS engine, I see it as more of DLC maps like BS Fire Emblem to hopefully flesh out characters either new characters or characters with very little screen time.

Switch has pretty much replaced Wii U though it may take some time for the assimilation of 3DS users so the 3DS has like 1 - 3 years left anyhow,

  4. The Lord of the game, along with some of his retainers (i.e. Avatar Character), are training along the country side. Bandits come in, easy victory ensues, a messenger comes along tells the Lord something happened at the capital, Lord rushes onward...

...to multiple battles with Bandits and eventually his own country's Soldiers leading to them discovering a coup for the throne. Unfortunately the coup succeeds, the King is dead, the Lord is framed.

The Lord escapes, travels around the neighboring countries slowly gaining troops and aid from other rulers. The Lord charges for the capital, the Avatar dies protecting the Lord.

The Lord becomes king of a country who believes him to be a mad man thirsting for power, rebellions happen.

Epilogue: The instability of the nation causes it to burn from the inside leaving to the very nations that aided the now King taking land as their own.

Maybe a part 2 about how the descendants trying to restore said country years, if not decades later. This is just to add child units who have some story significance that doesn't involved multiverse.

Also skinship greatly affects which nations will aid you.

    Some old knight/king.

Couldn't really narrow down to fit 20 character limit or so. Honestly I'd add more but I'm just spit balling here.

    Welcome to the Forest, CycleDone!

I'm pretty sure you're not that TERRIBLE.

Have a nice day and enjoy your stay!

Only Marth survived my first run of Shadow Dragon.

Also I hope my stay here is great.

HOWEVER... Isn't anyone else disappointed that this won't be on Switch? It would have done wonders for the new console's first year. I don't know; maybe it's been in development for longer than IS have had access to the Switch, but I doubt it. I guess they want to take advantage of the 3DS's ready-made install base, but would a dual-system release really have been out of the question? Especially considering the fact that they're also releasing FE Warriors on 3DS (which will surely hamper interest in the Switch even further).

To be fair IS may just be using the FE 3DS engine to make this as a buffer for the FE switch title in works since that may use a new engine made from scratch.

  8. Short-time casual lurker of these forums just posting here to say hello.

    ....

Backstory right. Well I started playing Fire Emblem with Shadow Dragon and play most games FE4 and so on. Honestly speaking I'm terrible at them enjoy them none the less.

Hopefully I won't just lurk here and post once in awhile.
