  1. I've been playing GBF lately so I want to make a moveset for one of my faves

    Yuisis

    Npc zoom 3040105000 01.png

A skilled Erune sword fighter and former leader of the Ditoria Knights, Yuisis can utilize two different fighting styles that can be switched using neutral special. Each style has their own perks and will even change some special attacks. Use them to change the flow of battle.

    Moveset:

    Spoiler

Neutral Special - No Surrender/No Regrets - By using neutral special, you can switch between Yuisis' Ditoria Styles. You must wait 10 seconds before changing styles again. The style being used is indicated by her idle pose and the icon by her Damage meter.

    • Ability NoRegrets.pngDitoria Style: Starslayer is a defensive style that allows Yuisis to take in more damage. She gains various perks that allow her to live longer:
      • In her idle pose, she stands upright with her sword in her right hand by  her side
      • Her weight slightly increases, causing her to take a bit less knockback
      • Her shield can take a bit more damage before breaking
      • Her Side Special becomes Steadfast Shield
      • Her Down Special becomes Suppression
    • Ability NoSurrender.pngDitoria Style: Heavensbane is an offensive style that lets Yuisis dish out more damage. She gains various perks that allow her to hit harder:
      • In her idle pose, she squats a bit lower and holds her sword with both hands up to her head and pointing in front of her
      • All of her attacks do 1.15x damage
      • The knockback on all of her attacks slightly increase
      • Her Side Special becomes Ardent Blade
      • Her Down Special becomes Unfettered

Side Special - Steadfast Shield - Used in Starslayer style. Yuisis dashes forward a short distance (similar to Jigglypuff's pound) with her shield in front of her, granting her heavy armor for the duration of the move. It deals 7% moderate knockback. If she comes in contact with a projectile, she'll swing her shield out to reflect it back at the enemy.

Side Special - Ardent Blade - Used in Heavensbane style. Yuisis dashes forward a decent distance (similar to Incineroar's Alolan Whip) with her sword. If she comes in contact with any opponent, she'll do a powerful slash that deals 16% and good knockback.

Up Special - Chivalrous Skystrike - Yuisis thrusts her sword upwards at a 75 degree angle but can be slightly influenced by which direction is held. It's property changes depending on which style she is currently using. In Starslayer style, she'll have longer reach (about as high as Marth's Dolphin SLash) and intangibility at the start but only do 4% and little knockback. In Heavensbane, she'll have shorter reach, (about as high as Mario's Super Jump Punch), and travel upwards slower but will do 14% and good knockback.

Down Special - Suppression - Used in Starslayer style. Yuisis holds her shield in front of her face, preparing a counterattack. When hit, she'll take no damage and retaliate back doing 1.1x damage back.

Down Special - Unfettered - Used in Heavensbane mode. Yuisis makes two quick sword strikes in front of her with the first dealing 10% and the second dealing 15%. If used in the air, she'll angle her strikes a lower and can meteor smash opponents with it. The move has a little bit of start up but very good knockback.

Final Smash - Skyblade - Yuisis performs three large slashes, with the third having powerful KO potential. In Starslayer style, she'll deal 37% and recover 20%. In Heavensbane mode, she'll deal 57% and slightly better knocback.

All attacks percentages are listed as Starslayer style.

    Standark Attack - A three sword stabs doing 2%, 3%, and 4%.

Forward Tilt - An 8% sword swing upwards.

    Up Tilt - A 9% overhead slice.

Down Tilt - A 4% legsweep that can trip opponents.

Forward smash - A flurry of slashes that deals 17-23%.

Up Smash - A very quick upward stab dealing 16-22%.

Down Smash - A powerful sword jab into the ground in front of her that deals 17-23%. It can meteor smash opponents by a ledge.

Neutral Aerial - A flurry of slashes around her that deals 11% altogether and can drag opponents.

Forward Aerial - A quick 6% horizontal slash.

Back Aerial - Bashes with her shield dealing 10%.

    Up Aerial - A 8% overhead slash.

Down Aerial - Flips her body around to 14% sword swing below her which can meteor smash opponents.

(Too lazy to do grabs rn)

  2. PLEASE MAKE A 2x SP SEAL!!! Literally just a seal that gives 2x SP to the unit holding it I would appreciate that so much its like the top of my feh wishlist

edit: Honestly it's kind of pointless to list actual ABC skills because the wishlist is literally any of them that are good

  3. 1 hour ago, EricaofRenais said:

I think that is where the problem is.  The artist draws women very well, but when they were asked to draw a man who is fairly manly in his original art it did not work at all because that was completely out of the artist's area of what they do well.

Yeah that's a lot of the issue and happens for a lot of other artists and characters as well. Some characters and artists just don't blend well. I follow Pikomaro on twitter and they do very good with girls, but I hardly see any guys. Will say that they did a really good job with Wrys though.

  4. I'm not gonna say who I think is the worse, but I'm gonna leave my two cents here.

Artists have bad days, artists sometimes do work that's heavily out of their comfort zone, and artists always improve over time. Yeah some of the art in this game aren't as great as others, but please don't let it be all that artist will be known for. Critiquing and having opinions is totally fine but I think it's fair to give them a chance to redeem themselves.

Lloyd for example is considered as one of the worst by many for multiple reasons, but Pikomaro has some outstanding work like Sumia and Charlotte. Lachesis is given flak for being too "moe-blob", along with a couple others by Miwabe Sakura, but they've honestly improved a lot of the course of FEH's lifespan, which can be seen on twitter and their GD Mist.

  5. Hi everyone read My Girl by Mizu Sahara. Finished it in about 2 hours and its one of my favorites now.

    d5.45dlH0oG.png

Edit: I need to gush about it more because I love it.

My Girl is about a 23 year-old dude named Masamune, who, for years, has been waiting for his lover, Youko, who left to study abroad. He'd send many letters to her hoping for a response back but none came, causing him to develop doubt. One day, Youko's mother comes to tell him that she passed away. He also learns from her mother's visit that Youko secretly had a daughter (which is said to be his) named Koharu who is now 5 years-old, however this is met with much skepticism (reasonably so). Meeting Koharu by chance, she delivers him a bunch of response letters from Youko. From them, he learns why she chose to keep Koharu a secret from him, how lonely she was, and that he was wrong for doubting her. For his lover who chose to take on parenthood alone for 5 years, Masamune decides that he would try living together with his daughter. Sounds a bit questionable at first but you really just have to read it to get the full gist of it.

Anyways, I absolutely love this manga. I can't express how glad I am to stumble upon it. "Single father raising daughter" seems to be a common concept in manga but I think this one does an amazing job. The art is good, it's really hard to dislike a lot of the characters, the whole thing is adorable and will make your eyes water or put a stupid grin on your face, there's just so much that I love about it. The story tackles a lot of hard subjects such as parenthood (an obvious one), putting value in yourself in a family, enduring loneliness, moving on from the past,  divorce and how it effects a child, there's just a lot. If I could choose any story to get an anime adaptation, I'd choose My Girl in a heartbeat.

  6. So Catria and Laslow are in this game and yeah I think that's it

Edit: Anyways for real now with the games I've played

SoV: Kliff and Genny are in. Kamui and Silque aren't here yet and I need them quickly, would not mind an SoV Catria alt

SS: Tana and Myrrh are in (though Myrrh became a SS fave due to her being in Heroes).

Awakening: Inigo has his PA and alternate identity self in, Tiki has been in, Cherche has been in.

Birthright: Sakura has been in, Subaki has been in. Selkie has not.

Conquest: Laslow has been in, I'm kind of indifferent to the rest of the cast really.

  7. I've been on romance/drama manga high right now so here's a couple that I like.

Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai aka I Want to Eat Your Pancreas  was so damn good. I heavily resonate with a lot of the things it mentions and overall was just super enjoyable read/watch. I think it does a very good job establishing a powerful relationship between a guy and a gal without making it heavily based around love and romance but more around needing each other to understand ones self and their surroundings. I enjoyed the manga a little more but that was only because I didn't know what would happen the first time. Was hoping I would cry but did not in the end.

Kanojo no Rokurokobi is a rather short manga about a Yokai girl and her childhood friend with 22 chapters but is very nice. Nieki Zui has a very interesting style that I've come to really like.

Kakushigoto - Secrets is a rather interesting story that seems to revolve around the idea that "circumstances change but our feelings stay the same". The manga is actually written by the writer of Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai and drawn by the artist of Kanojo no Rokurokobi, funnily enough. The chapters that are currently out seem to be only the opening of the story so I can't wait to see more.

Go-Toubun no Hanayome aka Berkut's Harem is one that's been going on for a while that I really like. It isn't necessarily "amazing writing" but it does a lot to satisfy me. I feel like a lot of romance manga tend to build it's stories off of a lot of characters's misunderstandings and hesitation and is the reason a ton of them haven't concluded (which may simply mean it isn't time for it to end which is fine but I get tired of it quickly). While it does have some of these moments, this manga tends to give those misunderstandings and hesitations a follow-up quickly that gives them some progression and feels like the relationships are moving at a steady pace. Also it's art is good Haruba Negi has pretty stuff. Yippee it's getting an anime in a week or two.

Not a romance/drama but My Hero Academia blah yeah whatever I don't think I need or want to explain really

  8. Hi, my favorite anime is My Hero Academia.

    Deku (AKA Izuku Midoriya)

    Moveset:

    Spoiler

    latest?cb=20180825172251

Deku is a fighter who utilizes various punches and kicks as well as his quirk called "One-for-All". Due to his inability to properly control this power, failing to execute certain actions may end up hurting him. He constantly emits green electricity but they are purely for aesthetics.

Neutral Special - Delaware Smash - Deku flicks his finger to shoot a burst of air as a projectile that deals 14% and decent knockback. It can be angled slightly.

Side Special - Shoot Style - Deku does an quick aerial kick that bounces back off of opponents and deals 10%. The sheer speed of it allows for various follow ups. Hitting a wall of any sort will deal 5% to him.

Up Special - Full Cowling - Deku chooses any direction to go in and makes a lightning fast dash wherever inputted. It goes about as far as Wolf's Fire Wolf. It does no damage but can be acted out of immediately (meaning he can jump, footstool, attack, or dodge) and doesn't leave him in a helpless state. However, aiming directly at the ground will cause him to fall and take 12%. Like Bayonetta's witch twist, it can be used twice but only if a jump is performed before each.

Down Special - Percent Increase - Deku strikes a confident pose as more electricity surrounds him. This powers up his next successful move by dealing 2x percent and more knockback, but taking above 20% from the opponent before actually hitting anyone will remove this buff. However, it will damage him however much the hit originally does. (For example, using Shoot Style with this buff will deal 20% instead and will make him take 10%) For 10 seconds, he takes 2% for every hit he makes and cannot use this move.

Final Smash - 1,000,000% Detroit Smash - Deku shouts "Detroit Smash!!!!!" before unleashing a powerful punch that creates a large gust of wind that multi-hits opponents doing a total of 60% and super high knockback at the end. This move hurts him 20% afterwards.

Standard Attack - Two jabs and a kick finisher

Forward Tilt - An axe kick dealing 4% on the way up and 5% down.

Up Tilt - A strong uppercut dealing 15%.

Down Tilt - A leg sweep that deals 7%.

Dash Attack - A running punch that deals 11%.

Forward Smash - A straight kick that deals 17-23%.

Up Smash - A powerful punch with a small windbox that deals 19-27%.

Down Smash - Spins with his leg outwards, like a more exaggerated Zelda down smash, dealing 14-18%.

Neutral Aerial - Three rapid kicks that do 10% together.

Forward Aerial -  A powerful straight lunge that does 18% pushes him backwards when used.

Back Aerial - Kicks behind him dealing 11%

Up Aerial - A flip kick similar to Captain falcons that deals 9%.

Down Aerial - Reels back and does a power punch below him that meteor smashes opponents dealing 16%.

Pummel - Punches quickly doing 1% each.

Forward Throw - A powerful punch that knocks the opponent far and deals 12%.

Back Throw - Throws the opponent backwards dealing 3% then shoots a burst of air with a flick dealing 8% more.

Up Throw - Uppercuts the opponent and deals 8%.

Down Throw - Throws the opponent down and stomps on them with both feet dealing 9%.

    Other stuff

    Spoiler

Entrance - Crashes down from the sky with his fists then gets into a fighting stance.

Taunt 1 - Pulls out a notebook and starts taking notes.

Taunt 2 - Raises his fist and yells "Plus Ultra!"

Taunt 3 - Strikes a pose and causes more electricity to emit from his body.

Victory 1 - Reads his notes intensely before noticing the camera on him and smiles awkwardly.

Victory 2 - Throws punches and kicks before making a pose.

Victory 3 - Surrounds himself with electricity and says "I will become the world's greatest hero!" then performs a kick.

  9. Because a Fjorm moveset was made, it's only right that I make one for Ylgr.

    Ylgr

    Moveset:

    Spoiler

Ylgr is a small, lightweight fighter who uses her daggers called Sylgr in combat. She overpowers her opponents using her speed but is fairly easy to launch. All of her special attacks are based on her skills in Fire Emblem Heroes. Her attacks have an ice effect, similar to Roy with his fire effects.

Neutral Special - Sylgr - Ylgr quickly throws a dagger that moves forward quickly for a distance equal to Falco's laser. Performing this move in the air will throw it downward at a 45 degree angle. Pressing B again will make Ylgr do a quick spin to throw another dagger, but only once. Each dagger does 5% and low knockback.

Side Special - Chilling Speed - Ylgr makes a quick dash with her dagger directly forward a distance equal to Captain Falcon's Raptor Boost. This attack deals 3% and passes through opponents, but hitting the B button right when it hits the opponent will do 12% instead and their movement is slowed for 7 seconds; a successful hit is indicated by the dash being cancelled immediately where Ylgr hit the opponent into a short hop that Ylgr can act out of. After the effect ends, you cannot use it for 7 seconds.

Up Special - Sorcery Blade - Ylgr does a quick charge up then does a jump with her dagger pointing out with icy winds surrounding her. The attack deals 13% but will deal 15% when the opponent is above 80% as well as freezing them. It can be angled slightly and travels about as far as Corrin's Dragon Ascent.

Down Special - Speed Tactic - Ylgr makes a pose holding her dagger up triumphantly which emanates a green circle about 2 times her size for about 3 seconds and cannot be cancelled. Then, She and any allies within the circle gain a temporary boost that increases walking speed, running speed, and air mobility. It lasts for 10 seconds minus 2 for each other ally who gained the boost. After the effect ends, you cannot use it for 7 seconds.

Fina Smash - Glimmering Ice - Ylgr throws three daggers in quick succession, each surrounded by a bright blue light that makes their hitbox much bigger than usual. Each deal 38% each, high knockback, and freezes opponents.

Standard attack - Two swipes that deal 3% each and an infinite that leads to a 2% finisher with her slashing upwards.

Forward Tilt - A quick front kick that deals 6%.

Up Tilt - Raises a spinning dagger above her dead that multi-hits and does a total of 9%.

Down Tilt - A quick low stab with a dagger that deals 7%.

Forward Smash - Leans forward to slash with her dagger swiftly dealing 14%-19%.

Up Smash - Does a cross slash in the air that deals 15-20% at the top and 10-14% on the sides. Similar to Greninja's up smash.

Down Smash - Throws a fan of three daggers on each side of her, each dealing 5-7% each, 15%-21% if all three hit. The daggers will continue moving down if near a ledge.

Neutral Aerial - Spins two daggers on each side of her causing a multi-hit; they do 10% if all hits connect.

Forward Aerial - A weak but quick horizontal dagger swipe that deals 4% that can lead into more follow ups.

Back Aerial - A downward dagger slice that deals 9%.

Up Aerial - Throws a fan of three daggers above her that deal 4% each. Doesn't travel far.

Down Aerial - Throws a fan of three daggers below her that deals 4% each. Doesn't travel far.

Pummel - Dagger stabs that deal 1%.

Forward Throw - Chucks the opponent forward and throws a dagger dealing 9% total.

Back Throw - Chucks the opponent backwards and throws a dagger dealing 9% total.

Up Throw - Blasts the opponent upwards with an icy wind surrounding her dealing 11% total.

Down Throw - Throws the opponent on the floor and casts an icy wind that deals 10%.

    Extras:

    Spoiler

Entrance - 5 orbs of light (of the colors red, yellow, green, blue and purple) swirl and come together to create a large flash right before a Ylgr is revealed.

Taunt 1 - Ylgr bobs her head side to side with her eyes closed saying, "Boring, boring, boring."

Taunt 2 - Ylgr takes out a dagger, tosses it in the air and catches behind her back.

Taunt 3 - Ylgr takes out a book and sits down to read it. The animation goes on forever but can be cancelled at anytime.

Victory 1 - Camera zooms in and surprises Ylgr who is caught off guard reading a book.

Victory 2 - Ylgr throws fans of daggers to her left then right.

Victory 3 - Performs her start of turn animation.

Fun Fact: I did a yolo summon while writing this out and got a Spd+/Res- copy for her heh. I think this is my new way of trying my luck.

  10. Heyo people, it's been a while.

With Book 3 coming soon, and that likely means we'll get a new cast of original characters being added to the mix. Because of that, I've been kind of wondering if there will be a different artist taking lead for it. Kozaki Yusuki, as we all expected, had taken care of Book 1 making the Askran and Emblian folks. Maeshima Shigeki had taken over for Book 2 creating Nifl and Muspell. Which artist do you think would be a good fit or do you want to see for Book 3 under the assumption that the main artist will change?

Basically this is another "Who's your favorite artist in FEH?" topic in disguise.

Personally I want Umiu Geso because they are literally goals but they've done two characters only so :/
