  1. This is acceptable. It isn't ear grating like certain characters in Fates, and the characters sound like actual people, rather than caricatures. The only characters I can really say i'm not fond of are Celica, who just doesn't sound genuine. Luka whose voice is way too deep, like, WAY too deep and Alm for his speaking voice.

    I did think of you when Sonya died though. Imagine my surprise when the boss actually attacked one of my units only once, and it was her. It was literally the first time an enemy in the sixth chapter an enemy attacked a unit that wasn't an illusion even though they were in range.

    I think if your unit's HP is below a certain point they'll go for it, it happened to Genny a few times for me, specifically, that one archer in the front of Grieth's Fortress attacked her instead of the 3/4 summonings that were in his attack range. This AI is pretty wack.

    You pretty much said it, fatigue is weird, and unnecessary. You get an over abundance of provisions, and making an offering rids your entire party of its effects. It also takes quite a bit for fatigue to actually take affect after multiple encounters, and even then you aren't(or shouldn't be) in THAT much danger after HP has been reduced.

    Its only function in my opinion is to make the grinding process lengthy and tedious(to punish filthy grinders) as fatigue doesn't even function outside of dungeons. I pray that they may never use this again, even though i'm grateful that it isn't Thracia 776 fatigue.

  4. I tried to do Chapter 6 without grinding my units to death and I had to pray I made it out alive from the final Sea map onwards. Having to rely on your glass cannon protagonist Celica and the one unit you shamefully dread looped is literal hell. You aren't even completely safe with a looped unit because of this game's nonexistent RES growths. 

  5. I absolutely adore Genny, give her a Dragonshield and she is completely set. Many a time have I been saved by her summonings, physic,(which Silque does not have...urrggh)...and her strength growth, which kinda puts her above the other clerics, at least from my experience with the game.

    Also Leo(n)’s "ざっけんな!” gets me every time, definitely my favorite archer from now on. He's dethroned Marth as the Hero-King of fabulousness.

    I don't see any DLC classes shown yet, I kinda wondered if they'll reveal it in those DLC trailers or the official website? I did seen there's like there's three DLC maps shown, new item called Silver Purse+, and some of the contents are going to be free and some of them are paid.

    She was using the blessed sword. A lot of the characters have several animations that they use when fighting. She usually only does the jump attack when getting a crit, or finishing an enemy off. It's not guaranteed though.

Deen has some pretty nice bases, and is equipped with a Brave Sword (which is basically a Killing Edge). He isn't bad by any means in Echoes and he got some really nice buffs(Like, really nice), but the main problem with him lies with the fact that you have to choose between him and one of the better mage units in the game. (Also witch maps)

    Sonya was nerfed imo, so the two are pretty balanced.

    It kinda boils down to your preference this time around, rather than the obvious choice of Sonya in the OG.

    They were, but (Majin) "まじん" as it was written in the original Gaiden, is spelled in hiragana and there were no real context clues to work on, so the intended meaning of the name was uncertain. The class was simply translated to HiKnight in fan translations of the original. 

    It is confirmed to be 魔人 in the remake however which literally means "demon man" or alternatively, magician/sorcerer/conjurer. However those are quite unfitting so i'm curious to know what the name of the class will be in the English version.

SoV's soundtrack is essentially an reimagining of Gaiden with added bonus tracks so it has a lot of solid melodies to work from. But during the NES days all the ost kind of had to focus on memoriable melodies since there wasn't exactly much room for adding variety otherwise (the link takes you to a really good documentary series about Japan's video game music history where they interview some awesome composers). I still having the Radiant ark melody looping through my head gosh darn it Yuka Tsujiyoko, you're too good!

    Either way I think all the music staff are doing a great job with the recent work on SoV being a standout. 

    While I disagree that Fates sounded like Awakening stylistically, I agree with everything else you've said.
