Soooo.. How do the Tactics skills work in this game mode?

Exactly the same as what it described, except instead of checking units of the current brigade, it checks the allies currently deployed on the battlefield.

So in order to fully utilize tactic skills, the starting team needs to have exactly 2 of every movement type just for the buff to work on everyone. If a unit dies, its replacement has to have the same movemeny type as the previous unit's or their whole class dont get the buff nomatter how close they are to the buffer. Kinda troublesome but that's what they are

  2. adore this game mode, though there is something that bothers me with it... I felt alot in this game mode was supposed to be PvP rather than PvE cuz

    1. The map is symmetrical af.

2.The rules for both teams are of the same.

    3. A turn limit... and a pretty small one at that, I didn't like the idea of a strict limit when they could also judge the plauers score based on capture speed and units survived unless it's a PvP mode which is acceptable for me.

I dunno bout you guys, but if IS introduced this as a PvP game mode i wouldn't have any objections or problems with it. I hope it does turn into a PvP game mode though.

  3. My pride and joy and by far my strongest team as a F2P.

All of them required a 5 Star sacrifice for one of their skills and have the best IVs available (except for Lyn which is Neutral, but good enough). Fae can go for an alternative build that involves Renewal 3, Ardent Sacrifice and a Quick Riposte 3 seal for long battles (Tempest trials, Chain Challenges etc.). I'm waiting for Spd Tactic to come out right now so I could replace Hone Spd. I'm also considering of merging Lyn and Fae since i have 2 extra bad IV Lyns around (damn pity breaks), but Swift Sparrow is a little too good to give up, and Nowi will lag behind if i do merge (since she's a limited unit).

Another thing that I almost forgot,

local and online matches against real people. Ranked and unranked. That would be awesome.

I can already imagine how PvP will end up in a never ending staring contest when both players have 1 unit left each and both have Vantage. xD

Locally it's fine though since you get to argue with your friends for fun. So I'm still with the idea.

  5. Well first and foremost... gimme ways to reset the IVs. I don't care if it takes 5 or 10 orbs, just let me reset em into something less awful. My -atk Ike, BIke, Effie, and Camilla are crying painfully right now.

On a serious note though, I feel that the current ally support system felt a little lackluster. The visuals and all that are wonderful and cute to watch at and is already enough to substitute support conversations for me. Its actual function though seemed a little shallow and lacked personality. +res then +def then +spd then +atk at the same value and at the same rate (I think) for ALL characters?

I understand that it's troublesome and tedious to make every different support combinations to have their unique interactions with each other. But couldn't IS just make the mechanics a have a little more depth like giving characters of same game pair up bonuses with like faster rank up. If IS wanted to go a little more in depth the implementing something like affinities so that characters of different affinities give different bonuses? If balance is an issue then just making the order of stat bonus provided per rank up different for each affinity is also viable. There is so much missed potential here.

At the end of the day, this is just a person's little opinion. If you're feeling like it, shoot me a few of your opinions as well.

  6. I'm already committed to Nowi xD

Plus, ally bonuses only works for different units so no matter which version of the same unit is paired with their respective partners, they will get a support bonus yah?

So what happens if you give 3 duplicates for its partner to share?

Does't bother me, really. It might for others, I don't know. As for the feathers, I just prefer to go for my favourite unit in these things, whether it's more beneficial for gaining feathers or not...

Usually, I would go for the smarter choice of getting more feathers myself and you'll probably never see me here.

But after getting carried away by actually trying to get my team winning and make my comrades happier without caring about my rank anymore, I find myself caught in the passion and cannot turn back anymore.

Man this 3x effect did change alot for the gauntlet. Once from merely spamming the flags mindlessly without worrying much to using flags sparingly to ensure the other team gets no bonus while your team does. It's a special feeling for me. >m<

Are we at the point where Team Tharja won't be getting x3 bonuses, because if so... I'll be kind of disappointed. I want to get the most out of my remaining 2225 flags.

Yeah I have even more flags than that.

But you know what team I'm on?

    Robin

The team who's going to get ALLLLLLl teh x3 Bonuses WOO HOO!

I apologize for the rather "excited" behaviour of one of my comrades (sorry Arc) but tbh, joining the losing team is actually more beneficial in gaining feathers.

Don't worry though, we only have like 1 room for 3x effect anyway so difference isn't that big anyway.

  9. 12 minutes ago, omegaxis1 said:

But yeah, Tharja WILL overtake Robin sooner or later. But we'll turn things around once more.

I think we only have room for 1 or 2 3x effects before the system becomes useless in gaining any sort of advantage.

Actually the scores after my prediction were 9.517 billion for Robin and 9.255 billion for Tharja.

Robin's scoring has picked up a little bit and Tharja's has evened out. The most recent update had Robin score 450 million and Tharja 700 million.

Oops. It seems that I have blundered. My bad :P

I do apologize if I sounded like I was trying to lecture you.

No harm mate. I posted too hastily that time without thinking straight anyway. I just joined to discuss about waifu (and husbando) wars.

At neutral, Tharja is still outscoring Robin 7:4. With their last bonus's though, Tharja only outscored Robin 3.6 billion to 3.3 billion.

My prediction is 9.4 billion for Robin and 9.3 billion for Tharja at the next update.

    Robin: 9,968,329,241

    Tharja: 9,952,993,293

I'm impressed. You were pretty right on Robin taking the lead for a while, a prediction I once could not believe. Even though it's just barely

  11. 1 minute ago, MonkeyCheez3K said:

To all Tharja supporters out there, I am sorry; we already suck so much that we can't even grant you x3 multipliers anymore, all those flags, unuseable due to the flawed mechanic... thanks for your lead though, I can actually get rid of those pesky flags (not meantas a brag, but sincere).

Meanwhile, many Robin supporters themselves are secretly master tacticians as well and are plotting for the largest turnabout without resulting in a 3x from Tharja.

I kind of don't care about defense feathers?

As of right now it has Ninian, Lucius, Marx, and Olivia all for training purposes.

You really have a weird way of saying hello.

"Oh, I think I've seen you before. I think I kicked your ass."

You're being pretty rude for a new member. Especially since you quoted me on an unrelated reason.

Owh, I didn't intend something like this happen. I'm deeply apologize if I sounded like that. I simply wanted to make new friends. Btw, what team you're on, would like to know.

  13. Just now, shadowofchaos said:

Ummm you have a weird way of saying hello.

    1. My name is in Japanese in the arena.

    2. I don't even have a defense team set properly.

    3. You're playing against AI.

    1. I guess it was just a coincidence then lmao.

    2. Your leftest team is a defence team, so it might register as well.

    3. Enemy AI might be easy, but my units aren't particularly strong enough to win all actually. But I can somewhat notice similar names appearing multiple times and recall how the fight generally was.

Anyways, nice knowing you I guess? lmao

  14. Seeing how the score increases so much at such an early state, probably the gap required to get the 3x effect in later periods would be so huge that relying on it barely helps at all. So in the end, the gauntlet would just return to the old state without the 3x effect we once knew and loved.

    hahaha, im literally so nervous. I will support my boi no matter what but going against such an opponent for the final round feels so daunting. i know its just a game but still ;;;

WE SHALL DO IT BOIIS! WE SHALL MAKE HISTORY AND HAVE A HUSBANDO AS THE GAME'S FIRST CHAMPION OF THE GAUNTLET!

    Robin: 7,074,215,911; Stronger

    Leo: 6,350,531,954; Weaker

Go nuts, my comrades, the multiplier is active one last time. If we're going down, let's go down swinging!

Wow! I actually would kinda feel happy for you guys if it was done in the final round! Unfortunately the 3x is in the 2nd last round... I'm actually more worried for you. Regardless keep going

  17. 14 minutes ago, Tybrosion said:

    Robin: 6,977,726,238; Same

    Leo: 6,308,364,833; Same

I'm pretty sure Leo will get the multiplier for one last time next hour (he's really close to getting at least, assuming my math is right) but other than that, yeah Robin is gonna win like I expected him to.

That's what went into my mind as well while I was at team linde as well during the few final hours. Unfortunately, the 3x effect never came and we lost.

  18. 4 minutes ago, XeKr said:

Tharja did 2263 million once with the 3x, which means she can do 750 or so even without the multiplier. JP middle of the day and NA night is probably a time of high activity so imo this is reasonable.

Julia is going to have to make up around 1500 million in the last session, even if it’s timed perfectly the last hour, so she needs like 2250 million which is like double her typical 3x round (highest is 1324, lowest is 798 million). Some Julia supporters may have flags in stock, but others might be running out. I used 1200 all with the bonus, and have 305, and missed a few 3x. However many flags Julia’s team has left, Tharja has much more in stock since she’s used less, and has more supporters.

As Sanaki’s team discovered, it’s also harder than you think to time the final multiplier. Despite some efforts to coordinate, her team actually did the opposite of the necessary strat, speeding up the last few hours when she needed to slow down to get the bonus.

We need another Jugdral Miracle. >_>

If you really want to beat Tharja, you should save everything for Robin. Leo/Henry are significantly weaker than Linde/Julia so he should have a lot in stock. He’s more casually recognizable from Smash, is a very common Heroes character to have, and has memetic potential (shipping, etc). He’s definitely not favored but there’s a chance.

Ugh, why do we have to face this reality. But would Tharja's flags be spent more often than Robin's since the battles in the female side is so much fiercer?

There has to be a, like, 1.2 billion difference, and we'll have to jump over it all at once. No way that will happen.
I still wish that it does, of course.

Well, according to what happened earlier, I'd say the jump isn't really hard to achieve, since in earlier posts, most Julia supporters still have their flags and are conserving at least 400 for the final hour.

    Just now, Arthur97 said:

I support Julia for two reasons: 1. I don't like Tharja. 2. If she wins then Robin's victory is practically assured (take that haters!).

Honestly if we actually win this, I would already be overjoyed that I don't care how brutal we might die to Robin already.
