  1. I know that BwdYeti has discussed the possibility of android/IOS ports in the past, so we'll cross that bridge when it comes. It's always nice to be able to take these games mobile, after all.

Until then, I'll be focusing on my return to development with FEXNA. I want "Elibean Nights: Final Draft" to be better than anything I could have accomplished with a ROM hack. It's always been something of a sandbox, an ongoing experiment -- now, I've got a fully-equipped laboratory. I'm hoping to add more achievements, more bonus content, and a codex (among other things). Perhaps I might even create a few new maps to play. Igrene's Tale still needs to be completed, and I had work-in-progress concepts on a small story for Astor. There's also the possibility of doing a sea chapter starring Fargus (maybe I could even add a Kraken boss or something?), and a story fleshing out the relationship between Athos and Nergal has also been considered in the past. It might be interesting to write a tale starring one of the FE7x cast members, as a homage to Yeti and all of the assistance he's given me with resurrecting EN. Wouldn't want to get too crazy with adding new tales, but it'd also be a nice way to inject some new life into the project. As always, the floor is open to any ideas.

I've recently acquired a replacement laptop (after maxing out a credit card in the process, lulz; hopefully that rental insurance check comes through soon enough), and I'll begin experimenting with FEXNA in earnest once I manage to get an internet connection in my new apartment.

I think that a Fargus or an FE7x tale would be out of place, due to the lack of material, and due to the (so far) pretty consistent reliance on official material for EN respectively.

  2. I don't know Orange enough to say anything about him, but I really feel like cocommentary with the creator just isn't gonna turn out well unless the creator is an experienced commentator and/or is really good at suppressing the need to explain things, or hiding their intents. It's just too likely to devolve into a mess like this and it just kind of ruins it for everybody involved.

Isn't this exactly what we all concluded a while ago?

  3. >Waiting for co-commentator to join me for FdRStar's submission

    >Decides to play a different submission. Gets stuck and asks the creator for help. Awaiting response.

    >Decides to play ANOTHER submission. Video reactions consist almost entirely of...

"OH GOD WHAT HOW DO I LIFE!? THIS DOES A DIFFERENT THING AND FLOW CHART GAAAAAHHHH"

So yeah. This mysterious third submission is probably the most mind fucky thing I've ever played.

    I am very hyped now

  4. Ehh don't worry about it, Ritisa. So long as it's not causing controversy, it's not doing any harm, and I enjoy seeing activity in this thread.

Though, with that said, I was thinking... what if Ragefest V was a collab hack, consisting of multiple chapters, with characters and plot tying it together? Instead of people making their own submissions competing to be the best, maybe they could all combine their power to make something better than what they could have done alone. And on top of that... I personally would enjoy seeing the community working together more.

    I really like the idea.

  5. Also since the holidays are ending, I might have more days off in general. I seriously need them. My right hand has carpal tunnel now, and I have to wear a wrist brace all the time now. My whole body aches and standing is becoming painful for my legs. I have, like, 30 hours of overtime from this work week alone. >_<

    Ouch.

  6. Don't worry, my submission has zero margin for error in enemy stats :)

Any place where there is variability in enemy stats is intentional. (you will see why when you play it)

    whoops

    uh

enjoy the new last part of my first map

This is gonna be good. Or not. Hopefully good.

  7. 1) Alusq's submission took an entire day to record. This is including the two breaks I took in between sessions, and it happened even despite the fact that I resigned myself to save stating like crazy on it.

    2) I have a part time job as a cashier getting paid minimum wage.

    3) I am exhausted from the experience of the submission, and need time to contemplate how I will edit the footage so that it is concise, while also giving the viewer all the information they need, my blind reactions, and other amusing parts of the footage.

    4) I am also trying to get work done on my fire emblem back, Chronicles of Lussaria.

    1) This is unavoidable i suppose.

    2) Minimum wage sucks :(

    3) Understandable. How much footage are we talking about? I liked Rondo of Madness' two hour video.

    4) Good luck with that.
