oh wait im a druid boss with an edgy clone in this hack so it is black magic -
hey look I did a thing for once can i be praised

So I accidentally fucked up the rom, and now it won't work anymore, and I didn't save a backup.
I'll just end this playthrough quietly.I'm sorry

I've got the pictures done and everything, but sadly I'll be leaving to do some things with my family for the day, so later today I'll edit this post.
In the meantime, here are the character growth rates. You'll see later in the playthrough why I have the growth rates, though I won't be using them to gain an unfair advantage or to cheat.
Character | Class | HP | POW | SKL | SPD | DEF | RES | LUKLyn | Pegasus Knight | 30 | 60 | 135 | 60 | 5 | 10 | 25
Although her offensive stats are outrageously strong, this comes at a cost: her awful defenses and hp will really hurt her in the long run. Nevertheless, she will be a great glass cannon.
Kent | Shaman | 75 | 70 | 40 | 70 | 5 | 5 | 35
Kent's base speed sucks. His speed growth, on the other hand, does not. Hitting things is going to be a problem, but otherwise, we've got another glass cannon.
Sain | Fighter | 60 | 40 | 20 | 80 | 60 | 5 | 5
Eh. He'd be a great physical wall, combined with his excellent speed, but his Halberd and 40 POW isn't doing him any favors.
Florina | ??? | 80 | 30 | 90 | 25 | 15 | 25 | 40
Not bad. That strength sucks, but I can definitely see her being used.
Wil | ??? | 5 | 50 | 65 | 55 | 40 | 80 | 5
holy shit that hp growth is awful
Not joking, I had weighted HP growths enabled so that most characters would get HP as a high growth, but what the actual hell happened to Wil?

Ganon is supposed to be king of the Gerudo tribe.
A single man is born every 100 years and he gets to be king. I imagine Ganon has a lot of fun being the only male around.
right, i forgot about that
*facepalms* -
don't recall Ganon ever being royalty in any game, but whatever, I guess. In some games he doesn't even have the Triforce of Power yet
-
Whoowie. I've got more.
My save ended up corrupting, so you ended up missing some crappy levels, but that's about it.
SpoilerLet's get started, shall we?
So, looks like Glass has dropped his peerless swordplay in exchange for peerless... magic?
Yeah, those are some awful bases. I'm curious where the +5 came from.
Yeah. He kinda sucks.
I move my characters to the forts and Sain to a forest near the houses. On enemy phase, the brigand attacks Lyn.
Miss count: 1
I then attack it on my turn. Miss count: 2
Miss count: 3. Kent doubles with his brave weapon so we're cool for now.
At least the level was great.
Next turn, this brigand attacks and misses. Miss count: 4
This bandit gets critted.
The one on the south moves to Sain.
fuck wait no
Well, shit.
For those wondering, Sain will have a warrior palette for those wanting to try it out, so don't get sad that he's gone.
Miss count: 6
what the fuck is that skill growth
also... wait a second, 10 speed
Lyn now doubles enemies. About time. Miss count: 7
Kent finishes that fool off.
Time to get to work at that wall.
I move Lyn through the main entrance to deal with the brigands.
Miss count: 8
Let us take a moment to enjoy that Lyn can now double, at last.
oof
The wall topples.
This brigand near the trees attacks Lyn. Huge mistake. Miss count: 9
It also dies.
Now, there's nothing in the way of Glass and Kent and their final magic battle.
Palette's good, I guess. Mercs are janky as hell but I couldn't think of a fitting color for Glass.
Oh lord.
FOURTEEN misses (one of which was from Glass himself) and some vulnerary uses later...
Miss count: 23. How do you get that many misses in a game not called Binding Blade?
You're shitting me, Kent. You can do way better than just HP.
We beat the chapter and get the useless katti! It'll be useful when Lyn promotes into Falco, but right now it's all but useless.
-
Ah, that's great. Thanks again for your help.
-
Oh dear. Doesn't look like that'll work.

So, as some of you may or may not know, I'm doing a Fire Emblem 7 randomized playthrough here. Only problem is that I can't seem to get the screenshot tag in the title like this:
Anyone got any ideas how to put a tag in a title?
-
I'm glad you're enjoying it, because now I've got more to show!
SpoilerI can tell I'm going to hate this already.
Well, let's get started already.
Ooookay then. So Kent's a Shaman and Sain's a Fighter. Hmm.
Those bases are not looking so hot, Kent. They're not Sophia bad, but they're pretty bad.
Pretty decent weapon though. Kent starts with two of them in his inventory, actually. But what about Sain?
Not bad, actually. Not liking that defense and speed, but it could be worse. Now onto his weapon.
18 WEIGHT? ARE YOU SHITTING ME?
How the fuck am I going to use a unit with 0 speed? *sigh*
Off to the bench you go, Sain.
Now let's see how much damage these brigands do to Kent.
are you fucking kidding me.png
Flux, the basic dark magic tome, has a brave effect. Holy shit.
I like how I made Kent's palette. One of my personal favorites.
Kent misses his second attack, so I have Lyn attack the bandit, poisoning him.
On the enemy turn, he then goes for the unarmed Sain.
He fails, being a brigand.
Interestingly, Sain used Bartre's palette as a fighter as opposed to some jankiness due to being a mounted unit before. I also like how Sain ended up.
Let's go check Zugu now.
Those stats would be scary, if not for his pathetic 0 resistance...
And the fact that the Horseslayer isn't ranged. This guy would mean business without Kent, and I'm pretty sure Lyn can't even dent him.
Kent deletes the bandit on the south of the map, and Lyn gets rid of the one who tried to kill Sain.
I have Lyn move here to lure the Brigand east of the bridge.
Kent doesn't kill, actually. I move Sain over to get the brigand to attack him, being completely unarmed.
Yeah, this is gonna hurt. I didn't realize I could've just moved him on a forest to avoid it, so my bad.
Meanwhile, the brigand fails to hit Lyn, and she retaliates.
Kent provides some extra assistance.
The low-hp brigand attacks Sain, now on a forest, and misses.
Lyn punishes his foolishness.
Off to spend like 2 more turns moving everyone to Zugu.
And this is Zugu's custom-made portrait. Knights and Mercenaries are super janky for some reason I'll never know.
Kent fails to kill Zugu, but this gives me a fantastic idea.
heheheh

I've been bored out of my mind lately and I've decided to start a let's play of FE7 instead.
Notes I'd like to throw in:
I did not save a backlog of the changes, but you will see some varying weapon types and changes throughout the run.
Palettes will be altered so that they don't look like garbage.
SpoilerThat's pretty much all. Onto the run itself!
SpoilerIt begins.
Yeah, this seems about right.
Actually, these images seem pretty big, so I'll reduce them to 1x as opposed to 2x the size.
Let's get started, shall we?
Text is also getting skipped, besides, this isn't a FE7 playthrough, this is randomized.Looks like our Lyn's a pegasus knight. Interesting.
Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Let's go see her bases now.
Oh lord. This is going to be one hell of a playthrough.
what the fuck
No, seriously. Why does she have an unbreakable Poison Lance?
J e e b u s.
That 10 weight will make it near-impossible for anyone other than Lyn to wield this thing, and with a pitiful 71 hit and 4 might... yeah. It poisons, but that's not going to be very helpful.
Thankfully the thing only weighs Lyn down by 1, so it's not a big issue.Oh lord almighty. This is going to be a fun run.
Our buddy over here, Batta, is now a mercenary. What's interesting is his choice of weapon...
I'd be damned to see him miss with that. Just like Lyn, somehow it still weighs him down by 1 point.
Lyn moves over to attack the bandit...It hungers.
Yeah. I'll be editing character and enemy palettes from now on so you don't have to see things like this.
Also, is it me, or does that Poison Lance also have the reaver effect?Okay, so resetting that now with the new palettes loaded.
The bandit moves to strike Lyn...
"D'oh, I missed!"
I move Lyn over here so that the Brigand can suicide on her while also being safely out of Batta's range.
Boy, I'm gonna love seeing this all the time.
The brigand misses, but Lyn doesn't kill...She'll kill next turn anyways.
What is this, FE6?
Goodbye to that jerk and my EXP. Whatever.
You've gotta be fucking with me. The Iron Axe has a reaver effect, why
oh hey, look at my pretty cool recolors
This goes on for a while.
After what feels like a damn eternity, I'm finally ready to strike down Batta on the enemy turn.
GODDAMNIT POISON.
Welp, there goes an entire level for Lyn. Tough shit.
Well, that'll be all for now. Tune in later for the next prologue!

Seeing Eirika with ephraim's face is a little unnerving, the Eliwood has weird mixed skin tones in the sprite, and the Sigune/Vanessa one looks like its eyes are spread too far apart, but other than that, those are some pretty good splices.
Much better than what I could throw out. :( -
If I pull another Odin or Serra, I'm not going to be a happy fellow
-
Maybe legendaries could be like the Laguz leaders in Radiant Dawn or something. I don't know, I'm just ranting here.
How would Pokemon Manaketes work though?
Would there be Pokemon fighting humans? Would humans ride Pokemon? -
Recently I've been fooling around with recruiting enemy units, but sadly, I'm making a self-challenge to recruit every boss and that's already seemingly impossible.
Bosses have -- movement. That basically means 0 movement. Yikes. Using movement changing codes doesn't work, warp glitches up recruited enemies on the map, and neither Rescue nor Warp work properly in enemy hands.
If anyone has either has a movement changing code that works, or a portrait changing code, that'd be appreciated.

Okay, being serious about this: You're a godsend for this. I've always wanted to play prologue with H5, and now my dream is realized, plus it auto triggers gaiden chapters! Yay!
