  1. Anyone have any advice on which Summer Tiki to keep?

I managed to get 2 a while back on a legendary banner, which I was really happy about since i've wanted to do a Camilla build with Melon Crusher for a while.

One is +Spd -Res, the other is +Res -HP.

I assumed the Spd one was the better of the 2 at first, but now that i'm looking closer im almost thinking the +Res -HP one is the way to go.

Any advice on who to keep and who to fodder?

  2. Managed to get lucky for once and got 3 F!Grimas with my hoarded orbs, the IV's are as follows:

    +Atk -Def

    +HP -Atk

    +HP -Spd

One of them is getting a +2. +Atk -Def seemed like the obvious choice to me, but is that -Def superbane potentially make that version worse than either of the what I assumed to be worse -Atk/-Spd ones?

For a Grima that will be used in flier emblem and dragon emblem teams, any advice on which should be the unit to inherit the other 2?

I agree with this, though I will say that the only blessing that is good is fjorm's +3 spd, the fact that seasons exist really hurts the blessings because there is no use for them if you need that +3 speed to get through arena or any GHB you are not going to get anywhere when the blessing is off season, it's better to focus on permanency and more reliable units, I also just don't use any of the legendary heroes, I've gotten all of them but feel no desire to use them so for reason that all my blessings have been sitting in my storage closet unused.

Only issue with going by the buff is that its decided by the Legendary hero. A new Green unit that goes better with your team might come out that buffs +Spd to units with the Wind Blessing. If the buff was based off color and not the hero, choosing which to use would be much easier.

I may never actually use a blessing due to the permanent nature of them.

Wait, their permanent, as in you can't re bless a hero with a different blessing after? If so that would probably make me never use it on my main units as well.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if some developer mucked up the UI programming and made it annoyingly difficult to make it display more than 8 units. As a software developer, things like this happen a bit more often than I'd like (and then you just have to bang your head against your desk for a bit and tell your boss it'll take an extra week to finish what you're doing because someone else mucked things up for you when they originally implemented the thing a year or two ago).

I remember a situation exactly like that with world of warcraft, I think the main inventory bag is still not expandable due to it never being originally programed with that in mind. The best short term solution was continuing to increase the additional add on bags capacity. They said they would love to eventually get around to addressing it, but it likely would be too much work to warrant it.

  6. I still think its the correct term as you should only be comparing it with units that fill that specific role. Holding the blue cavalry mage Reinhardt out there as a reason for how she can't be defined as power creep is simply inaccurate unless you're really planning on building a full team of Reinhardts. If all other red sword units were outclassed by her it is power creep, that's the definition, not whether it compared to a completely unrelated unit.

  7. You don't need to push the entire performance ceiling up to be power creep, just the ceiling of the units whose spots this one would be in competition with.

It doesn't matter that Reinhardt is still technically a better unit, as Ayra was never in competition with him for a spot on the team, even if she outclassed him they wouldn't be in in competition.

When people say they fear power creep, what they are actually fearing is that a new unit will come out and render the one they have obsolete instead of it just being an alternative option. Being told "well, your current red sword units are now obsolete, but hey its still not as strong as Reinhardt" is probably of little consolation to anyone who built up a current red sword unit.

If the goal was simply to let red sword units compete better, the solution would be to raise all the current red sword units stats a bit.
