I must say Tellius and Three Houses have the best art design. Not that the others aren’t good. Older Fire Emblems always have that their time’s anime medieval fantasy design, and they all fit, and relatively grounded. Only exception would be Fates, as they go for the over the top modern anime weeb appeal. Of course Fates WAS the bottom tier of bad design, as we all know which is the worst now

Yes, Laevatein was crowned queen at the end of Book II, but in a recent Forging Bonds (don’t remember which), Laevatein visits Askr and it was mentioned there Laegjarn became queen

That’ll be interesting to see. It’s possible any that even the top Engage characters might still have a chance next years, as much as they’ll lose star power by then, and that assuming no FE remake is release as some rumors claim. It can go either way, as the lukewarm at best reception of Engage may go for the latter, but it’s also possible at least one of the top characters’ star power makes it through next year

I’m not sure if the Japanese idealization is the overall cause of it’s lower reception, as it was more like a part of Fates’ overall poor writing problem. In fact, until Engage was released, Fates was the record holder for being the worst FE of all things Engage is being criticized about: poor writing and way too weeb

Plenty of hardcore FE fans, but it’s clear casual fan doesn’t care enough to vote for them, unless the rumored remake gets done and expose them more to mainstream audiences

SILLY BERNIE GOT A SPOT 🤩. I must say, Robin is the only one who fits prior trends of choosing lords, but we already ran out of lords with mass fan base, but this is pure underdog victory, starting with Alfonso who was always popular, but never made it in top 2 until now. I’m not the biggest fan of Felix other than his combat performance, but I welcome him as well. But I’m worried with the 3H winners will get the another lame un creative treatment like that other CYL

Damn, I couldn’t get duplicates, but THE Reinhardt is back. Thanks in great part to him, I could complete all the infernal Legendary and Mythic Hero Battles current on. He’s stupidity broken. Only downgrade to the original THE Reinhardt is having to move spaces to attack twice like Dire Thunder does, but it’s pretty minor as he has much higher damage and speed to offset it, plus all the add one like one extra movement to allies close by, and canto. Canto alone would have been very useful to the original THE Reinhardt

Can’t have an opinion as I haven’t played it due to still having three unfinished campaigns in Three Houses, let alone started Three Hopes. But I feel the reception has been lukewarm, as I think Engage has been kinda forgotten. I remember people talking about Three Houses for at least two years.

I mean, don’t know about hate, but I do have the impression Engage just came and go compared to 3H. I’m sure to remember 3H has been heavily promoted and present when it was released and at least until Ashen Wolves DLC. I feel Engage was released and everyone just kinda forgot about it by the week

Really? Is Engage that disliked? I DID get the impression it was seen with indifference, but kinda dismissed it due to my absence, but I didn’t think it would be this bad. Anyone would like to fill me up? I didn’t buy Engage because I’ve only finished Crimson Flower and Ashen Wolves in 3H, and leaving Claude’s campaign mid way, not because of any particular dislike
