http://serenesforest...ers/base-stats/ Shirou and Lionheart should have 7 mov not 8. They just get a temporary +1 mov from Plains Fighter on the map where they join.

Rock/Ice would be great (ingame at least) if its user had the stats of, say, Lucario. iirc alongside rock/fire, it covers the most weaknesses of any dual STABs existing in Pokemon up to gen 6. Aurorus is just very underwhelming in terms of bases (though its ability is all right). I don't particularly care if going from pure ground to ice/steel would make Sandslash go down from UU to NU or whatever, don't have anywhere near enough grasp of the competitive scene at most of its stages to make any claims, but this should be quite a celebration in-game.
-
Sandslash was never terribly good, and having both the game's best offensive type (ice) and defensive (steel) modify the boring ground typing should make it a joy to use if its bases aren't effed up in the process. Assuming early enough availability (this concept may well vanish if the game revolutionises more than just the gym concept of every other mainline Pokemon game), you also get an exceptionally early user of ice-type moves, which is mostly unprecedented in the series.

I don't think Christianity made the old laws easier to follow. The Sermon on the Mount is a good testament to how complex spiritual life got (Matthew chapter 5; notably the 'But I say unto you' bits).

The last couple pages of this discussion are very odd. First it's said that atheists never form a community (these folks do like to constantly insist, even in discussions where it's not relevant, that atheism is not a religion, but that likeminded atheists lack the capacity to form communities?) and then it's argued that Christians or other believers have never discarded their religion? I'm really not sure how to react to these "counterarguments" to what I'd previously posted (which was nothing daring really).
-
Well sure, an atheist could be anybody from a neckbeard spending a bulk of his time on the internet, a neo-nazi pagan to a more respectable person of science or Buddhist or anybody in-between, like your regular dood who just couldn't care less with plenty of other things to do or who remains unconvinced by anything logically and/or ontologically. I know atheists who make their views known and almost certainly know some whose views I didn't get or didn't bother to find out, but that's beside the point. If atheists are worried that they are often mistreated or scorned, perhaps they should look into their own community (-ies) for causes of that - is what I'm saying. The "other groups" Bal appears to be referring seem to be well-aware of that insight.

If the online behaviour of atheists is an indication of anything, there sure is a whole lot to dislike about 'em.

Does anyone else have a hard time swallowing pills?
Espinosa replied to IceBrand's topic in Far from the Forest...
I used to need hours and a ton of water and effort just to swallow one. Nowadays I get it done right away because I stopped caring and worrying about it. -

I have plenty of ketchup, but I hardly ever have any fries. It's always on the side. -

Integrity. Being and not seeming. -
I think cheating can be fine for competitive purposes too. If I played competitive Pokemon, I'm sure I wouldn't spend dozens of hours hatching eggs for the right stats and natures when I can just skip this annoying phase with a save editor and proceed to the real thing.
-
Both positive and negative I guess. There are contexts where no cheating should be present imho, but at the same time cheating/hacking can be necessary to setup challenge runs that aren't otherwise possible and those are a lot of fun.

Playing more Fates games would be nice if you're up for it... but don't look at me if you're looking for a host at this time of year lmao. -
Ena should do it just fine with a good deal of luck (for low-turning that is), we calculated iirc. I recall I gave the 1st Speedwings to Stefan on my run (on hiatus) to assist with some bosskills, and it may have not been necessary. I sure hope Ena doesn't end up needing that one Speedwings!

I should really finish this challenge sometime

Might've had something to say on this 8 or so years ago, but they're all either gone or keeping an extremely low profile. I guess I embody everything I find important with my channel now? -

Espinosa replied to Moblin Major General's topic in General Fire Emblem
Yeah, it'd an old thing. We just took a few steps back since then. I guess the new players can't be blamed for not making sense out of the games with today's tiering being a joke and no meaningful distinction being clarified between good and bad units? And right, no discussion is presumed. I was proving somebody that Villager Mozu is in no way statistically inferior to Archer Mozu by writing down the base stats, which were exactly the same in all key areas, and when I thought I finally accomplished the job they went 'oh but you don't get it, my archer Mozu turned out well'. -

It's probably the kind of content most of the Fire Emblem fanbase (brought to the franchise by the 3DS games) understands since "I used X and they were good" is the only argument these people ever seem to make when they talk about something (okay I guess there's also "you need to have an archer/dark mage/whatever"). -
ROBOTNIK EATS HIS OWN VAGINA I'm really worried about Z-moves or whatever they're called. If they can only be used against CPU, they'll make what was already an easy game (with Exp Share in the last generation) even easier. Snorlax did NOT need that overkill move to utterly annihilate that Gumshoos.
