  3. It looks like marrying Sariya to Callum/Vake/Ronku/perhaps also Henry and Gaia should give you a Noire with access to Assassin. Compared to Bow Knights, Assassins have more skill and speed but less defence. Also, it looks like Armour Knights have a rather low base defence growth (15%), especially if you compare it to what it was in the DS games. I guess that makes General!Sumia a terrible idea. Even Snipers have the same defence growths.
  4. According to this one page we have here, Krom cannot marry the following damsels either: Liz, Miriel, Velvet, Nono, Sariya, Anna, Serge, Sairi, Tiki, Flavia. So it's not just Tiamo. And the list stops at Mariabel so far.

Most countries with competent football teams have crazy, over-the-top fans, Italy, Britain, etc. Anyway, skinhead + football is a pretty common combination for a person in Eastern Europe, which is not a problem to me since that affinity keeps them out of other activities where they could be far more obnoxious for me (like folk and rock music concerts).
  6. Looking good. You're several chapters away from the end, but Neimi is already capable of doubling the final boss and Garm!Ross is only 1 speed point away from doing the same. Might as well get L'Arachel to A staves ASAP and just skip those assassination chapters.
  7. How about using Zihark... unseriously? He's good at base as soon as you get him and you don't need to give Edward any experience besides what he gets just to save your skin in the first couple of chapters, allowing you to concentrate on your other units. But nobody says you have to use him after Part 3. Nolan is pretty overrated I think, though Tarvos and accurate ranged monsterslaying abilities do make him solid even though levelling him isn't easy when playing efficiently.

  9. His growths seem almost identical to Liz but I guess the problem is the join time. I'm trying to think of what skill he could inherit from his father that would make him more useful... Maybe Vake's/Gaia's Movement +1? Mobility is still valued on a healer, right? And it doesn't sound very nice that children don't start with at least C rank in their area of proficiency. Looking at the inventory list on this site, Arms Scrolls are said to boost all displayed weapon ranks at once. I guess Great Knights would then make best use of them (since you raise three weapon types at once), particularly Cullum since he doesn't have Discipline or access to swords prior to his promotion.

  11. His stats seem too balanced with an unnecessary emphasis on luck. Not really the best healer to have around, unless some inheritance peculiarities could give him a niche compared to other healers.
  12. What do you imagine being some possible and desirable options if you could change the class of your units in the other games in the series by simply using an item? Some options that come to mind... Duessel: Great Knight -> Paladin Oswin: Knight -> Cavalier Nephenee: Soldier -> Pegasus Knight Dieck: Mercenary -> Myrmidon Klein: Sniper -> Nomadic Trooper

  14. I guess demoting him ASAP sounds like a good idea. Or maybe as soon as he gets Luna. It feels strange how you don't get a single Paladin in this game, but two Dark Mages. I wonder if Henry can be called the Est of this game.
  15. So if you want to pass Donny's Good Growths to a kid, you have to keep Donny underlevelled, otherwise it won't be the last skill and therefore won't be the one to get passed? Or can you actually move those skills up and down in the menu? Also, If MU marries one of the ladies who have a special child character, will the marriage produce both Mark and that other child?
  16. Wait... So if the max limit for skills is 5, which skills will the child inherit if the parents both have several? Any way to be in control of it?

  18. ^ They all modify nouns so they are most certainly adjectives. Though you can say "we pre-arranged a meeting", most of the time you will hear about pre-arrenged schedules, plans, etc. and in those instances they are most certainly adjectives.
  19. That definitely reflects my experience as well. I had Forde reach promotion range earlier too, by chapter 9, but saw little immediate point in promoting him ASAP.
  20. There are also words and phrases like "pre-school", "prehistoric", "pre-lunch drink" that suggest that something is in the stage before another stage (as opposed to having entered a later stage without your participation - e.g. pre-school is not school for those who skipped kindergarten).
  21. Very significant contributions in the chapters where he is available. Can actually attack at a height disadvantage without caring. 8/10
  22. However, will you disagree that having a flier with decent combat helps complete chapters, particularly rout ones of which there are so many, in fewer turns? And I wonder if lv. 16 Franz is feasible in LTC settings that early.

That seems to be the case, because early on Franz's enemy phase is limited (he has trouble taking on more than 2-3 enemies at once), he fails to double the enemy units besides those whom everybody doubles anyway, and his ORKOing potential against those units is also shaky (needs Steel Lance to one-round soldiers and doesn't have enough AS to double Knights when weighed down by it, and even then is far from one-rounding). In the light of that, a Cav like Kyle at least has an advantage of better durability and Garcia-level strength, and may want the first Knight Crest before anyone else. Franz does have a lot of earlygame presence, but not quite enough turns and not good enough bases to make full use of it, and the competition is very stiff.
  24. I recall reading it somewhere on this forum that several different stats are raised/lowered when you make your best/worst stat choices (e.g. picking magic will result in reduced HP, defence and luck growths, or something like that).
